My girl was so stressed out that she was over-grooming her legs until they were just about bald. ^_^* It was her first time being a mom, so I think she was a bit overwhelmed.
Sounds like you got a charmer. Most of my males were pretty mellow. The Ivans (my two white rats named Ivan and Ivan) were super cuddly, especially Ivan the Great. ^_^

------------------------------------------------------------------------- ...as the wind whistled past it whispered in your ears... Aw, somehow that's not surprising, the poor girl. 18 is a big litter o.o
Yeah, he was my most beloved rat The two sons of his that I have now are both pretty calm too (well... until food gets involved at least), so so far most of the males I've had have been pretty mellow too... Though I guess I see it more as being lazy o3o ...then the words drifted away, never to be heard again...

I've noticed a lot of ratty males who are well fed and well socialized are pretty calm. I think it's a ratly community mindset. Mice don't have that, for some reason. They need space. Rats don't mind sleeping 8 or 10 to a shoebox. razz

Since google is failing me at the moment, does anyone know which band/ artist created the song Caphirina? I've checked wiki and several search engines to no avail. Youtube doesn't have the artist listed on any of the AMVs that it is in...

Goodbyes suck soooo bad. I dont usually even start to cry but when I said good bye to my girl to go back to DC I wanted to bawl. This is off topic but I wanted to get that off my chest and see if it is considered completely unmanly>.>

On the couple of occasions that I saw my man break down in 10 years of being together, all I can say is that he was more manly in those moments than I ever saw him. Sometimes you guys get so focused on hiding the feelings that you believe are unmanly and weak, that you make yourselves come off as a bit too stoic and unfeeling. Guys tend to make us girls wonder if we are really even needed beyond certain functions sometimes. It's healthy for guys to let it out sometimes, and it's healthy for your gals to know how you are affected by them.
