As the first guard regarded her as a little girl, she giggled like one. She took it as a compliment in what seemed like her normal aloof nature. Before she could giver her answer however, a man whose very being resembled a legend whose tales sent chills down every child in the great five, arrived with a snake resting on him licking the air intently as if enticed and another larger one who seemed undecided on where to look. "Wow, they sure do put on a show here these days. I thought the Kiri ANBU layed it on thick!" she thought to herself as they approached and men bowed. It was clear to her however, that Konoha had changed drastically since Matsuya left. From what she could tell, this man was clearly in a position of power, and it made her wonder why he dressed as if he couldn't afford clothes that weren't antiquated and best suited for museums. Although he and his small legion of snakes were indeed intimidating, one had to remember that shinobi of the mist were trained to suppress emotion. Aoi was not only a master of this, but a master of manipulating her own when it suited her. Even if she was afraid, it definitely wouldn't have been recognizable.

One thing was for sure, the mission she expected to be like a vacation was starting to look like more of a huge pain. Nodding curtly to the man as he arrived, she explained their situation and why it was so urgent for them to be there. Her voice were more serious, yet an air of feminine aloofness remained, peering out ever so often through certain words and phrases. "Well, we recently had a string of bandits and jounin level rogues roaming through Kiri country and practically killing everything and anything they ran into that came from Konoha. After interrogation and further investigation, we found out it was because of some heavy rumors that a Takigakure shinobi managed to steal the last generation's supply of Hero Water and split the supply into thirds, shipping one third to Kumo and one to Kiri. We presume of course it's to be picked up by someone, but as for who we're unsure." The news was odd, but true. Aoi didn't know it, but Luo had in fact sent Tares and a new shinobi in the village out to quell another attack he caught wind of. Apparently the water had not been found.

"Anyway, seeing as how Takigakure is too small of a village to have their own harbor, of course it's assumed the water was shipped via Konoha's various export ships. Soooooo, we're like here to see if the Hokage has heard anything about the water missing from Takigakure since you are they're greatest ally, and to warn him that if this Taki-nin is somewhere in Konoha, he may use the water as a ploy to attract wild west style rogue shinobi chaos on the village to distract you from a bigger plot that may be brewing. Phew!" At that moment, Aoi wiped her brow with a backwards open palm to signal how lengthy her explanation was. The way she spoke made it seem as if she took the matter lightly, but it was a grave one indeed. She knew anyone familiar with the waterfall village knew the ability of the Hero water to increase one's chakra by at least ten fold. By drinking only a third, even if none of them got that huge of an increase, they cut the water's ability to diminish one's life force by a third, essentially making its use feasible. It was certainly a dangerous situation, one that Aoi was sure Konoha wished to avoid despite its recent overhaul.

Manny stayed close behind Aoi as the guards approached, and the man with the snake appeared. "Very close resemblance to Orochimaru... Dropping my guard around anyone who might have some connection with that man would be stupid. This is not gonna be as nice as I thought it would." Bowing slightly as Aoi did Manny waited and listened intently to everything but kept his some what lax, and lazy look as he situated the sleeping cap on his head, that matched his grey pajama suit.

“Those who dare bring harm to my friends, my village, and my way of life…”

[Enter from Forest around the land of fire]

xxxxYamatano, still leaping through the trees, finally reached the edge of the forest. Just as he was about to disembark from the branches, something caught his eye through the leaves. The three Kiri shinobi he had passed on the way back to the village were already there, speaking to a guard. The man's pale white skin and ornate katana reminded him of Zin Naga, the boy who barely beat him in the Chuunin exams. Yamatano briefly wondered how Zin was doing, until he saw what really caught his attention: A serpent, murder glowing in it's eyes. next to the man.

"A-a snake?" Yamatano wondered in a slight panic, unable to comprehend what he was seeing. How was this man able to control a serpent? Was he a snake summoner? No, that was not possible. Yamatano was the only snake summoner alive, according to the contract Lord Manda had him sign. Was there another contract, then? Had Manda lied to him. Or.....was it possible that this WAS Zin? Yamatano had seen the boy summon small serpents, no larger that Kuro, but this......this was something altogether different? Was this a genetically altered snake? Was it a snake at all?

As the questions raced through Yamatano's head, he realized that he had to find out more about that man. But there was no way he could do it looking like this. What if the man WAS Zin, by use of some insane jutsu? Zin knew of his ability, and might demand he surrender the power of the snake contract to him. No, Yamatano would not allow that to happen. As much as he respected Zin for his ability, he had to admit that he didn't seem right in the head when he summoned his trump card during their fight. He had almost seemed......crazed, at the sight of a Kyodaija.

The boy backtracked through the trees, until the gates were no longer in sight. With a simple handseal, Yamatano uttered the word "Henge". In a small puff of smoke, Yamatano's appearance changed to reflect an older version of........well, himself. Yamatano had decided that the best person to go as was his own father. He retained his white hair and mask, but in place of his Kiri battle uniform was a beautiful jacket, white edged with red patterns. The White Light Chakra Sabre still hung on his back, which made sense, since Yamatano's father WAS the official head of the clan. Yamatano was so thankful he had decided to leave his horned headband in his room at Kirigakure.

His plan was simple: subtly mention the snakes the man was using, asking what it was. As the father of a snake summoner, he would know enough about the snakes to make the questions legitimate, but he would not have access to the snake power. Therefore, if this was Zin, he could not demand the ability from him. After gaining a little insight, he would simply carry on with his mission to meet the Hokage, ask about the rouge, and then leave for Sunagakure. If he found out he needed to know more, he would simply stay an extra day or two.

Yamatano, now disguised as his father, disembarked from the branches, walking along the path like a normal person. He walked to the gates, where the shinobi of Kiri were still speaking with the man who might be Zin. "Ahh, it looks like I made good time." Yamatano said, directed more towards the Kiri shinobi. Other than that, Yamatano remained silent, waiting while Aoi and the man who might be Zin finished their conversation. He had decided he would wait and speak with the guard after they had finished, rather than wrap them up in his business.

Naga Clan - Jounin - Gate Keeper - Weapon Master - Shuntensatsu

Konoha had indeed changed under Zin's reign. He moved his demented uncle into the village, forced shinobi to fight more savage, than the friendly and warm Konoha of the past, that was preceived as something of a joke in the shinobi world. 'Let's destroy Konoha just because we can!' sort of tom-foolery, changed indefinitely. All those that attempted, Zin found, and before killing them, killed their families and their loved one's before giving them the graces to meet them. All while giggling and skipping along the corpses of the deceased like a giddy child sipping through some daisies. Even the citizens that used to walk about the village stayed in more; something that people who have been in the village during it's higher points would notice, the decrease in activity in the streets... and the warmth it use to hold. For the Naga Prince has taken a likening to public executions, slaughtering enemies and those that threatened his power with such savagery, that the children speak about Zin being in their nightmares more than any other feared creature that a child could think of during their youth; and Jin wasn't far behind with his own corrupted methods of running his sector of the village. Hatred and fear was all that he felt he needed to have to keep his villagers and shinobi in check. Hatred towards outsiders, and fear towards him. Such a wondrous method of ruling, he believes.

Unlike other's, Jin didn't bow. He simply stood over them and did a small tilt of his head to give dome respect. To think a person like him would bow to anyone is humorous. The very idea tickled him so much he thought about stomping a baby and feed it to Azriel. But he shouldn't completely shun Kiri. They haven't really given Konoha, even during Zin's reign, problems that would make him think about turning his forces towards them. In fact, there was really no village that they honestly felt about conquering. Or at least not yet; there was still too much on their plates with Zin's new plan, to do that just yet.

Azriel hissed softly again with that thick tongue gaining scents from the air and seeing which person would provide it the most appetizing meal, and then transfer just little information he noticed to Jin that it felt to be important. Jin would just laugh and smirk darkly with those senbon-like needles and murmur to Azriel, "Indeed," He said before looking over to the bright haired woman when she spoke, and the reasoning as to why she and her squad stood before his nephew's gates. 'Bandits... Rogues? Hmm... You would have thought Zin's pets would have wiped them off the face of the Fire Country. But it seems like there are a few more that he didn't get around to yet. Pity... The yseem like they would be quite chewy.' Jin thought to himself as more information was spilled out about the reasoning for their arrival. This... was a problem. Economically speaking, Konoha wasn't going to get profit if there were these clowns continually striking down their exports; and Takigakure, was possibly their closest ally simply because of the fact Konoha resides over it. "Troublesome. To think mere morons would go to such levels to gain temporary power. Such Genin level aspirations." Jin muttered under his breath as he sighed and decided that indeed this was a problem. Economically, and for the reign Zin was attempting to gain over the Fire Country, they needed to settle this dispute quickly.

"Well it seems like you have a very liable reasoning for entering. This is a problem that we cannot ignore for long. To think they'd be so bold." Jin shook his head and was about to form a seal before his slitted eyes turned sharp. Another person who, by the way he entered into the mix of the Mist shinobi, it would seem he was a part of them. Azriel raised his massive head and hisses lowly to the newcomer before Jin did a curt hiss to silent him, "You there... What is your reasoning for being here. Are you apart of this squad... and just late? Or are you just lost and need instructions to get back?" He would point back from the area the man just came that would lead out of the Fire Country, as the older pale Naga Clan member leered to the other. Not much of a friendly person. But this would rather answer Yamatano's questions about if it was Zin or not. Upon getting closer, Jin was wearing clothing back in the days that the samurai were the prime contracts for protection; and with the 'age' of the clothing, it didn't seem like it was simply bought from a store in this generation. Zin, when Yamatano met him, was also a child. It would rather be impossible for the youth to grow up to look like he is in his thirties in only a couple of years. Lastly, his answer would be completed in answering when Jin formed a two-handed hand-seal and said softly, "Kage Bushin no Jutsu."A plume of smoke appeared beside him, revealing a clone of himself that he would speak to while keeping his eyes on those before him, "Tell my dearest nephew that there are people looking for him." He would break eye contact from them only a moment, in which Azriel would be his eyes and whisper, "He should be with little pets." He informed the clone who nodded and weaved through hand-seals to merge in with the earth and disappear. "I would welcome you into the village but my little nephew likes to have the final say when it comes to people entering into his village. You understand." Jin said as his playful predatory gaze looked upon them.

“Those who dare bring harm to my friends, my village, and my way of life…”

[Enter from Forest around the land of fire]

xxxxYamatano was a bit taken aback at the man's unfriendliness, but one thing was for certain: This was not Zin Naga. The real Zin Naga always greeted people with a smile, whether it was friendly, or the sadistic kinds he had given to Yamatano. In addition, the man was much too old to be Zin, and his clothes were completely different from what he expected, almost as if they were from some age long past. But the final straw was a kicker, in which the man told them his nephew "Likes to have the final say." What on earth did that mean? Was his nephew Zin? Had Zin been placed in some seat of power? He didn't doubt that Zin would become a powerful shinobi fast, like himself, but already commanding the gate? Was he the new ANBU captain? Jounin Commander? Head Assassin? Yamatano didn't want to think about it anymore, his questions would all be answered in due time.

"This squad? Oh, no no no. In fact, I didn't even know this group was headed this way." Yamatano said, in a complete matter-of-fact way. "I just have something I need to check on for the Mizukage regarding someone......suspicious......within the village." he stated as he moved slightly closer, not wanting to reveal too much to the other group, but not so close as to be right next to him. "I'm sorry, but its really a matter I need to bring to a higher-up, someone with access to the shinobi records of this village. Is there any way I could request a file from there?" he asked, eying the large serpent Azriel. Never had Yamatano seen such a snake commanded by anyone other than himself. And if this man was really Zin's uncle, then there was a good chance Zin had this power, too. If possible, he would have to see Zin and discuss this. That is, when Yamatano did not look like his dad.

Ever see a snake that looks at a prey like a threat? Sort of a mixture of it could possibly be a meal, but at the same time there is a chance that it would be maned by doing so. This was the sort of look the 'aged' slitted eyes of Jin had whilst looking upon Yamatano. As if wondering if he could possibly be the next dinner for his snake and himself, but at the same time didn't want to put forth too much effort to achieve it. He, after all, loved his meals to not give him too much trouble. As did that Jounin from the other group. She looked delicious and her little Genin looked like perfect appetizers, alas there would be too much work in preparing his meal. 'Damn you father for not blessing me with those eyes! They would be quick work with them!' He thought to himself as Jin looked briefly up to the heavens and hissed under his breath to the man, more than likely, looking down at him before looking back towards the group before him. So instead, he re-directed his built up aggression to the next closest thing. As if on the same way of thinking Jin pointed to one of the man beside him as Azriel made a vicious hiss before, like the hand of a Taijutsu-ist back-hand strike, the large serpent shot down and engulfed the man from his head to his torso. Halved machete sized enamels stabbed through the spine and ripped through the intestines as Jin let a sigh of relief. As if pleased by the short screams from the man as the sounds of the large mouth continued to clomp upon the man's mid-section. "Ahhh much better!" Jin said as he cleaned some of the blood from his serpent's mouth and liked it from his gloved fingers. Savoring the taste of fresh blood like it was wine before 'attending' to the group before him again, "Sorry to let you see that.... Thursdays truly make me a bit... antsy." He said with a chuckle as he patted Azriel, whose large body coiled around the body of the deceased man and began to rather effortlessly break his bones with the twinning of his coils.

Looking back to this new comer to the property of Konoha, Jin heard him out and listened to the situation. Honestly, he despised visitors but he didn't have a choice in this matter. Anyone found as a traitor to the village would have a death many times worse than what Azriel was doing to the man not being chomped on. "Follow me, please. Diverge not from behind me until you have met with the Hokage. As much as I'd love to see what your flesh tastes like, Zin will decide if you will have further access to the village." Jin said, chuckling as he licked his lips with a rather abnormally shaped and sized tongue. Before he departed and just as Azriel finished his little snack by tossing up the torn corpse to be swallowed in that open death pit, Jin put his dynasty-aged boot upon the shoulder of the now shaking solider that remained on his other size. Shaking not of fear, but of anger...sadness... and extreme pain. Though mostly fear and terror, as one could not blame him to think that he might be the one next. Yet he dared not to run or leave, or even move from his kneeled position. For if he was caught, he'd have to face Zin... What that child did while giggling would make the flesh of the lords from the underworld crawl. "Now... You will do well to be early on guard duty now, yes? If I'm correct, you have two more siblings, therefore you have two more mistakes to make before you have no more excuses. If you love them I would advise you to arrive to your appointed job early. Understood?" He said as the man slowly began to nod before Jin pushed his boot harder upon the kneeled man and kicked him to the side. "Good! Now keep on guard while I'm gone."

Jin looked back to Azriel who looked a lot more pleasant with his belly holding some substancem but the group behind them still seemed quite appetizing. Hissing to it's master, Azriel tailed behind Jin who was leading the group towards the new Hokage office; while moving his eyes every once in a while looking back towards the group behind them to make sure nothing funny would happen.... or at least not happen without some repercussion.

“Those who dare bring harm to my friends, my village, and my way of life…”

[Enter from Forest around the land of fire]

xxxxYamatano recoiled in slight horror as a man was devoured by the Snake he had been watching. Without warning or pretense, the man had simply been devoured, simply for the purpose of feeding the beast. What was worse, the man seemed to take a perverse pleasure in the kill, licking his gloves clean of the blood that splattered them. What kind of monster was this man? Worse, what could be so horrible that the man next to him did nothing to stop it? Yamatano had not expected it in the least, so stopping the act was beyond him, but that guard.....it was almost as if he had seen it before.

Yamatano wanted nothing more that to stick a hidden blade into the monstrous serpent's head, but restrained himself. Before the others behind him could react, he even held his hand out behind him, signaling for them to halt. Despite these heinous acts, they were in no position to criticize the man. Why, with his apparent temper, he could very easily turn the snake on them all. Were he alone, Yamatano might consider demanding justice, but with the other shinobi present, a mission to complete, and, based on the other guard's shocking reaction, no idea how the other Konoha shinobi would react, there were too many uncertainties. Even going with this man was a risk in itself. However, if worst came to worst, Yamatano believed he would be able to escape with the others, if not fight. In addition, Yamatano wore the garb of his father, a highly skilled shinobi. Yamatano himself was no pushover, but this man would think twice before attacking a shinobi of Hatake Himura's caliber.

Jin's words to Yamatano before turning around confirmed Yamatano's worst fears: Zin WAS related to this man, and seemed to control him. What was worse, Zin was now Hokage! How on earth could he have gained such power? What had Zin become? All this and more raced through Yamatano's mind as he followed Jin, bidding the other three to stay close behind. Yamatano could feel the eyes of the serpent upon him, but his fear was minimal. If anyone in the world knew how to combat a snake, it was he, Yamatano, master summoner of the snakes of the Caverns of Hebi. He sincerely hoped he would not have to put his knowledge to use.

Masaki couldn't help but stare at the newcomer. He looked soo damn familiar... If only every damned Kiri shinobi didn't have white hair he could have an idea who he was. It was as if he had just seen him too... However, he kept his mouth shut as events unfolded. He was, after all, a genin. He wondered if Konoha had any special skills, he wondered if he'd get to fight someone fun. When the guard with the snakes killed a fellow konoha-ian villager Masaki's hands turned to fists and he started before the newcomer put his hand out. What the hell kind of thing was that to do to someone? Break his legs, wound him but it was just poor sport to kill a man. Masaki saw no benefit from death. How could that man be so harsh as to ruin another's chance for redemption? for strength? Masaki wished like never before that he had the strength to put him in his place and then show him proper manners. It was only respectful to allow one's opponents to become stronger and attempt to avenge their honor. He would wait for their team leader to make the first move, and then follow her into the village. It would be easier to bite his tongue if he maintained a good distance.

Glancing to the side, Aoi noticed what looked to be Himura Hatake approaching the gates. Out of respect for the man who had trained her during his stint as an academy teacher when she was younger. Hearing that he was here on a separate mission, she simply waited to gain entrance into the village from the man in front of her. When he had his snake kill one of his men however, she gritted her teeth and as any teacher would, instinctively put her hands in front of Masaki and Manny as Himura did to her and the kids as well. To have such a disregard for human life was something Aoi found to be distasteful and downright evil. Apart from her teeth gnashing together at the initial surprise of the attack, Aoi's expression adjusted to the one she previously held, still smiling slightly as if something she thought about was rather amusing.

Her eyes glanced over towards the other guard who was kicked to the ground. She felt sorry for the man having gathered that the guard who lost his life was his brother. The man shook terribly and when approached and spoken to was paralyzed by fear. Had this mission not been as important as it was, as well as the little knowledge she had of this man and the new Konoha, she would've aided him in avenging the death of his brother rather quickly. All she could do however was subdue her smile as she motioned for her genin to follow behind her, looking in his direction as she passed and nodding slowly. Although she didn't say it her message was clear, her hands were tied in this situation and she sent her sincerest condolences. With that, she followed behind Himura through the gates of Konohagakure, interested to see what physical changes the village had taken on with the new Hokage who was apparently Zin Naga, a name she recognized from the chunin exams from the year prior, a huge surprise to her.

Manny stayed quite during everything that was going on, but when a man was killed his body stiffened. He had seen his mother kill, so the sight of death wasn't what hardened his body, it was more suspense of being attacked himself. With a slight movement of his hand he readied himself to grab one of his kunai that was secretly tucked underneath his grey pajama garb. With all his equipment hidden from sight it was unlikely the movement would be noticed with everything going on, but even if it was, Manny was ready to move away from a attack if needed, though he hoped it wouldn't be.

Soon after his slight adjustment his squad leaders arms shot out in front of him, in a protective manner, this eased him somewhat, but still payed close attention to his environment as him, and his squad moved into what was becoming a increasingly hostile environment.

Reaching the gates at last under the watchful eye of Zin's uncle, Aoi and her squad moved quickly until they reached the gate entrance at last. Turning around, Aoi bowed her head curtly toward Jin. "Well, see you around." Turning and walking out of the gates, as they closed behind the trio she said only loud enough for her squad to hear, "I wonder why that weird looking guy takes his orders from a brat like Zin?" With that in mind, they were off at last back towards the land of Water, and Aoi never felt as good as she did that moment returning to Konoha. She wondered though, just what was Yamatano thinking using a Henge like that? Surely he didn't think a seasoned jounin like Aoi was incapable of deciphering that he wasn't the man who taught her when she was younger. Aoi knew Himura well, and had even seen Yamatano when he was a child in the academy. She knew the way HImura walked, talked, and even his nervous twitches. The man in there was not Himura, and she gathered the only person who's voice could be so similar to his own would be his son Yamatano. "Just what the hell was that kid thinking?" she thought to herself as they entered the forest line and she jumped into one of the trees to begin guiding the kids back to their camp spot.

Jei and Azriel continued to watch the group out of the village, and keep a look out for any unwanted movements; more specifically, movements that would entail them leaving something behind that shouldn't be left. He silently would nod in response to Aoi as the doors closed and secured themselves by a four separate bolts of wood sliding along the back of the door; cutting Konoha off from the outside world once more as it should be.

Taking his position back at the top of the gate, Jei would continue to watch from his perch as he got to thinking about his nephew. How he hated that child. Blood meant nothing to him. In fact he wanted to stab that boy relentlessly. He didn't even care about his lineage to his brother or his brother for that matter. Both siblings, if given the chance, would have utilized each other to further their immortality without batting an eye. The only sentimentality he had for his brother's death, was he wasn't the one to absorb him. Now, he lays under his child... such irony. A child that is a spitting image of his brother, except the mentalities are different. Yet the murderous lust that little devil held was still quite similar to his brother during his older years. It almost made him think, that if he was going to kill his nephew, it would be before he gets older and more troublesome.

Yet even if he made that decision, that man is constantly looking over him. Clenching his fists, Jei slammed it upon the wooden railing of the gates and shook his head. 'What gives him the right to act like a parent figure all of the sudden... for that child!' Jei thought as he would watch the group until they disappeared from view and his senses. After he and his brother wen parentless for years, only to have him return and act as if nothing had happened and then create that kid like a treasure! "Tch..." He said with an agitated scowl as Azriel placed his massive head upon his master's shoulder in attempt to soothe his anger.

MAsaki followed Snowcone through the gates quietly as he held his tongue. That kid had been out of place, but even Masaki had realized the stupidity of his actions. He was not yet in any position to lecture the Hokage no matter how rude. I must become stronger. Those words were not unfamiliar to the boy, but they rang with an overwhelming strength this time. He could only hope that the boy got what was coming. While part of him still believed it was the villagers who should get the privilege, he really wanted to be the one to knock the boy down a notch. Perhaps he could teach the snake kid how true strength is made. The hate in the village echoed through his bones, and Masaki knew there was strength in that hatred. Even KonohaSnakeGuy seemed to dislike the boy. Killing the opposition would surely weed out the weak, but it was also stifling the strength to come. That boy cared not how he got his strength he just wished to gain it, and that was a stupid mindset.

As he passed through the gates, SnowCone asked why "that man" took orders from Zin. Masaki replied quietly, trying to keep his anger under control. "I know I couldn't." He followed her into the forest. The daylight was dying, but Masaki wanted like crazy to push himself to the limit, to breach that limit, and to gain the strength to back up his words.
