Jason nodded, a little glad Kasiya had decided not to use Zeus's powers for revenge. He wasn't sure if he liked the idea, even if he had suggested it. He was happy to see her get up and seemingly forget her woes when Cynthia reminded them about the boat and he was more than eager to follow. But Jason stopped cold mid dash when he heard a very familiar voice call out to them suddenly. He spun about and spotted the red haired girl and her Ambipolm waving like mad and running over to them, and of course Black*Star wasn't one to be left out making his own scene by climbing up onto Robin's head. "Robin! Holy Moly, it is you! You all disappeared and I was like where's Robin!" Jason grinned as he started to run towards her as well, the muscles in his legs suddenly tightening when he got closer to her and stopped. All of a sudden Jason leaped out at her with his arms out to give her a hug, though he clearly didn't think this through as he still had the momentum from his running. And jumping at people was just plain bad behavior to begin with, Zeus watched knowing very well that Jason had another jolt coming his way. Jason too realized the consequences of his actions far to late as he was already in the air and closing in on her like a missile.

Sam let Devlin down. "Okay Dev, ready for your first battle? Use Peck!" Sam wanted to save Devlin's special move as her ace in the hole. The girl let her Aipom down.

"Aiden, use the ship to your advantage! Swing out of the way!" Aiden nodded, and wrapped his tail around a bar. He swung with increasing momentum, as Devlin lept forward, and missed. He hit the bar with his beak, and fell back. He hovered, and watched the Aipom swing around in circles, his prehensile tail allowing full movement. As he swung faster, Devlin backed away, unsure of what to do. "Good, Aiden, now let go!" Aiden let go at the peak of his swing and flew to the top of the ferry. He was aiming to land on the roof of the cabin. Sam was tracking it, when her pokedex beeped. She hastily quieted it, and read the information.

"Huh, Devlin learned Pursuit...Devlin use Pursuit!" Sam wasn't expecting much, but it was good practice. Devlin locked in on the Aipom, and chased it to where it was going to land. He slammed into the Aipom, but it recovered quickly, hopping out of the way. Devlin tumbled past. Aiden landed on his feet.

"Aiden, DoubleSlap!"

"DoubleSlap? Devlin, Drill Peck! Block the slaps!" Aiden swung around with his tail, to slap Devlin's face with the hand on the end of his tail. Devlin's beak glowed, and spun crazily, pecking the hand that attempted to slap Devlin 4 times. The last time Aiden came around, Devlin pecked it away and drilled his beak into Aiden's face. Aiden rubbed at his injured face.

"Aiden, Scratch!" The Aipom swiped at Devlin, and connected with Devlin's body, sending him sprawling.

"Devlin, hover out of the way! The Aipom can't fly, that's your advantage" Devlin beat his wings, a bit scared of falling out of the sky and losing the boat, but he was a bird, he got used to it little by little. Sam could see the girl rethinking her strategy. Sam knew the approach she would have taken, and hoped the girl wouldn't think of it.

"Aiden, use your tail to wrap around the mast!" Aiden did so, winding himself around several times, his tail stretching, the hand on the end holding firm. "Good, now, unwind, catch that line of flags, and slingshot to the Murkrow." Sam stared incredulously. There was no way a strategy like that would work! The Aipom let go, his momentum swinging him around several times before hitting the flag line. He rebounded off the taut line and launched like a rocket towards Devlin.

"Ack! Devlin, get ou-" The Aipom smashed into Devlin, and they both fell towards the deck. Devlin was losing ground. "Devlin, Drill Peck him into the deck!" Devlin fought to control his fall, and tumbled until he was in position. His beak glowed once more, and he spun his entire body into the Aipom's soft belly. Their fall was accelerated, until they exploded into the deck. A soft boom! reverberated around the deck. People's heads turned and Sam felt a thousand eyes on her. She heard over the PA system.

"Please do not destroy the ferry, or you will have to compensate the damages!" Sam glanced to the captain's cabin, and saw his glowering eyes. She ignored them however. She watched the settling mist and dust. Both the Aipom and Devlin were still standing, though both looked a whole lot worse for wear.

Eztli trudged slowly to where the woman had indicated. She had said that her only relatives where her grandparents and her brother. She hoped it was Mixcoatl, that her father hadn't had another son. She kept Xipil in her pokeball, fearing she might cause trouble in the city, with her devilish ways. She did however let Zolin out, knowing him to be calmer, more reserved. She could also relate to him a great deal more. As she approached the family house, she felt a strange combination of apprehension and indifference. She knew she was part of the family, they couldn't really reject her, but at the same time she had a childish fear of rejection by her family. She held up her fist to knock, but paused. She had seen this exact scene in so many movies, but had never seen herself actually playing it out. She had always thought it was merely dramatic effect.

"Cuuu...bone?" Zolin looked up questioningly at Eztli, not understanding her hesitation. Eztli hardened her resolve. She picked Zolin up in one swift motion, and knocked softly at the door. There was silence. She waited a few moments, nearly turned away to leave, call off this journey, and continue with her pokemon, when the door opened. It was Mixcoatl. Eztli stared for a few moments. Mixcoatl stared back, as if he was looking at an apparition.

"Mix? Mi hermano!" Eztli hugged him fiercely, but she didn't cry as she had in the graveyards. "I don't understand, where have you been? I'm so confused, you never wrote, you never called...there was nothing. Who is Citlali? Why is Papa in a psychiatric ward? Why did you abandon me?" She was nearly hysterical, yet her voice never rose, and no tears fell. She stepped back, composing herself. Mix still stared, he hadn't moved or responded.

"Ez? Eztli...what are you doing here?" His voice was not unkind, but of all the welcomes he could have given...Eztli stood a little straighter.

"Mix, I came to find you, to find out what had become of my only family. I also visited Mama's grave. That's where I found this little guy." She indicated Zolin. He looked mechanically at the Cubone. He sighed, and opened the door further.

"Eztli come inside, we'll talk." He showed her through the Spanish-style house, and stopped before a well-worn wooden table. Eztli guessed ebony by the dark color, but woodworking was not her forte. Two elderly people sat at one end, a couple Eztli assumed were her grandparents. They stood at the exact same moment, their hands entwined.

"Mixcoatl...Quien es? We told you, having lady friends was forbidden, after the fiasco last time..." her grandmother said. She narrowed her eyes further but then they widened. "Mixcoatl....Is this...." Eztli decided to take an initiative. She stepped forward, her hands held up in the universal gesture of 'I'm unarmed, and of peace'

"Mis abuelos...." Her grandmother's eyes widened further, her eyebrows nearly disappearing beneath her silvery bangs.

"Eztli...My dear....I thought you would never return." Tears leaked out of her eyes, a look of joy on her face. Her grandfather, however, couldn't have been more different.

"And good riddance, after the trouble she has caused this family." Eztli's face remained neutrual.

"Oh, stop that!" Her grandmother playfully smacked his arm. "Our granddaughter has come to visit us, and we shall welcome her!"

Eris squeaked and made herself more comfortable in Crenu's lap. There were a lot of scary sights and sounds to be heard in the gym, but she felt quite safe where she was. She looked over at Froslass and squeaked again, feeling a little jealous of the ice and ghost-type in her own way. Froslass had such a pretty flowing gown, but Eris didn't have anything like that. The Cyndaquil kept her attention divided between Froslass and the battle, though in all honesty she was more interested in the strange ghostly Pokemon.

"Quick attack," Riza repeated quietly to herself before nodding. She'd already come up with plan to counter it. "Hold your ground, Akima!" she shouted. "Wait for the right moment and use your special move!" Akima's red eyes narrowed into slits as she waited for the electric mouse to draw near, keeping her right claw raised high while the other was clenched tightly, powering up for her ice punch. The Raichu was speedier than she anticipated and before she knew it she was being bowled over by a tan coloured blur. Akima got to her feet quickly and swung around with her icy fist, letting out a sharp cry. It always felt good to use this move, and she wished that Riza would get into more battles for her to fight in.

Katie was elated that Roark was impressed by her Staravia. If a gym leader was commenting on how well she'd raised her Pokemon it had to stand for something, right? She was also someone satisfied that Roark didn't look too happy about seeing the Roselia, and when she heard him command the Onix to use Dig, she couldn't help but grin. It couldn't have worked out better if she'd planned it out herself. "Okay Seraphim, get out into the open and use growth one more time," she said.

The Roselia peeked out from behind her hiding place an nodded before dashing out to the center of the battlefield. As she ran she forced her body to grow again, heightening her special attack yet again. 'Now we wait,' Katie thought, looking at the area of ground where she figured Onix would erupt from.

Eraku laid there face down in the ground for a little while. One reason was he was fairly sure he had skinned himself from his face to his knees and second he definitely heard the tell tale sounds of the new friend he had just made. From what he could hear she was definitely upset about something. Something about her cadet whoever that was. and some guy named mike. Rolling over he felt the pokeball on his belt jostle and suddenly he heard the cry of his scyther right above him. Vlad was standing almost on top of the boy. Vlad looked down and shook his head after seeing his trainer laying on the ground. "This boy is something else. Thats for sure."
After what seemed an eternity he got up and brushed himself off. The damage wasn't as bad as he had thought a few cuts here and there but fine otherwise. The bird trainer had left and taken with him the Golbat he could only assume was dead. He looked over and saw that his friend was just about in tears and he saw another guy standing right next to her. Eraku scratched the back of his head not knowing exactly what to say "What's the problem? Did we miss the boat?"
Hurricane noticing the distressed girl hopped off his trainer and over to the girl and nudged his head against her given a calming coo hoping the girl might calm down a bit.

They were nearly at the docks when Kasiya heard a voice calling her name. A second or so she spotted a familiar redheaded girl heading towards her, as well as an oddly familiar, purple Pokemon. "Robin!" she cried, waving at her friend. "And Luffy, too! How are you guys?" she called. She hadn't yet seemed to notice the fact that Luffy now had two tails and was a little larger, as her attention was quickly drawn to the Totodile now perched atop Robin's head. "Ohmigosh, who's this little cutie?" she asked, very curious about the little gator, but she heard a commotion from behind her and jumped out of the way as suddenly Jason was tumbling through the air towards Robin. "Eep, look out!" she cried, but by then it was far too late.

Cynthia smiled and gave Robin a little wave as they neared them. Unlike Kasiya, however, practically the first thing she noticed about them was that Robin's energetic Aipom had evolved into an equally energetic Ambipom. "Hello Robin, Luffy," she said. "I trust you two have been keeping well." She glanced at the little blue Totodile on the girl's head, stepping back as Jason rushed past. These kids all certainly had a knack for getting themselves into trouble, that's for sure.

Special move? Surge thought to himself, watching as the Sneasel quickly got to her feet and retaliated with what looked like a strong Ice Punch. There was no time for him to command Raichu to counter it or even dodge, so he could only watch as the frosty fist made solid contact with Raichu's stomach, knocking the wind out of him. A cold chill crept throughout his entire body and he shivered, knowing that he'd just taken a rather big hit.

"Alright, Raichu, give 'em your special Thunderpunch," Surge commanded, wearing a grin. Raichu's own grin mirrored his master's, and he knew just what to do. He rushed forward, electricity crackling over his fist as he took aim at the Sneasel, but at the last possible moment he held back, the electricity fizzling out as instead Raichu put all his weight forward into a powerful Body Slam.

Claire waltzed out of the pokemon center. She had a quick visit in order to get Kokoro fully ready for their next training session. She figured the two could go off into the woods and practice hitting flying targets once more. If she was lucky, Claire could even find a frisbee or similar object that Kokoro could hit when there weren't any flying pokemon to battle. Claire looked out beyond the pokemon center and then noticed the tower that loomed over the city.

"Oh yeah, they've got their own towers here kinda like Ecruteak." It was similar in design to the Tin and Burned Towers. That would be the place to go. There would be plenty of woods and areas where Claire could find some wild pokemon to train against. So she released her pal. The cyndaquil stretched a bit and then proceeded to climb up to her normal place on Claire's right shoulder. So what are we up to now?

"Not much. Just more training." Claire responded. "We're off to the tower." Kokoro nodded and the two moved in silence (not that anyone else normally heard Kokoro anyhow). After a few minutes they managed to get to the outskirts of the tower complex. The entry gate was tall and beared the sign "Sprout Tower" arching across the opening. But Claire avoided the entrance and moved along the wall toward the lush pine woods. It was bright outside but the woods were shady and calm. Hardly any sounds could be heard and it seemed that if one were to break the relative silence that they would be breaking something sacred. But Claire put these thoughts out of her head and proceeded to rummage through the woods.

After a few minutes she found a desirable substitute for the aforementioned frisbee. "Great! There are plenty of pinecones here that we can use as targets. They're small and should be hard to hit in these conditions. So I'll throw them and you try to shoot them with your Ember attack... but don't go overboard since we wouldn't want to start any forest fires." Claire instructed. Kokoro took her stance and Claire launched off the first cone.

A resounding miss! But not by much. So, another toss. And this time a hit! And thus proceeded the training. In due course Kokoro managed to hit slightly more than half of the cones. It was a good start but showed that she would need to work much more to be ready for their first gym match.

Practically blinding them all with her bright smile Robin produced she was about to greet them when suddenly she had her arms full of Jason and as she fell over from the impact laughing all the while. "Hey there Jason! This seems awfully familiar." She laughed as she pushed herself up helping Jason up as well. Luffy meanwhile was of no help and was just laughing because it was funny. Black*Star though, who had fallen onto the ground from Jason tackling Robin had no idea that Jason had been the one to knock Robin down. Black*Star was under the impression that the reason Robin fell was because he was so awesome and the weight of his awesomeness had made her fall, it had even knocked over someone else to! Grinning to himself he turned to Kasiya who had been right to admire his amazing powers.

Looking around Robin spotted the auburn haired young man who had come over to, he didn't look familiar and always happy to make a new friend she grinned widely at him. "Hey my name is Robin, Robin Knight! The laughing Ambipom down there is Luffy and the smug Totodile is Black*Star."

Dante himself couldn't help but feel a bit of the girls enthusiasm enter his normally pretty blank emotional state. "Hn, my names Dante Remington, and this is Hera." Dante introduced. The Heracross at his side just laughed and clapped her clawed hands together at the sight of the silly trainer and her pokemon.

~~~~~~~
Hmm a confident response was not what Roark expected, still it was to late to call his attack back. Even he didn't know where his Onix would pop up from. Well whatever happened Roark hoped that his Onix would make it through this all right.
As if summoned by his thoughts the large rock snake pokemon popped out of the ground with a loud roar as it came barreling down on the tiny grass type pokemon.
"Ha ha, yeah you're right. We gotta stop meeting like this., someone could get hurt." Jason said laughing as he got up with Robin's help, he had to admit that he may have been just a tad bit overenthusiastic. It couldn't have been more than an hour since he'd split from Robin, but still. Maybe it had been because she ran off so suddenly and he thought maybe something had happened. Or maybe it was because she was the first friend he'd made once he left his home town. Jason didn't even know about Sinnoh before he met Robbin, so in a way he owed having a ticket for the ferry to her. Wait a sec...the ferry! Jason took out his pokenav and looked at the time, they had like no time at all if they wanted to make it without making it a close shave! "It's almost noon guys, maybe we should have a toast over new friendships when we're at sea. Then we'll have all the time in the world, come on!" With that Jason suddenly burst out running towards the ferry's boarding ramp. He was so excited he couldn't take it much longer! And such cool new friends, even better!
Eraku noticing the time said the group "Hey it's almost time for the ferry to go. Lets get on board." motioning for the others to follow him over to the ferry. He walked toward the boat hoping that the others were following. I am not missing a chance to get to the Sinnoh. He thought as he got onto the boat. As he stepped on he noticed that there were a large number of people on the ferry. It looked like there were trainers from all over. And a number of Pokemon he definitely did not recognize. This was going to be a good trip he could feel it. He took a seat near the bow of the boat and waited for the others to catch up to him.
'Thunderpunch, that's something Akima should be able to avoid easily,' Riza thought. Akima seemed to think so too, and her eyes darted from the electrified fist to the Raichu's almost sneaky grin. There was something that wasn't quite right about it though the Sneasel wouldn't have a chance to think about it any longer as she anticipated the punch and jumped back. However, the thunderpunch was never thrown as it had just been a cover for what Surge and Raichu had really been planning. Akima's body was already leaning towards the left to dodge out of the way so by the time she saw the body slam coming it was too late. The two Pokemon were fairly evenly matched in size though the Raichu was probably a bit heavier, and Akima let out a sharp screech when the mouse Pokemon slammed his body into hers and she was sent painfully to the floor only to have Raichu land on top of her.
"Akima, use agility to free yourself!" Riza called out. She never would have thought of something like covering up one attack with another and she imagined it took Surge and Raichu a while to be able to pull that off so well. Akima let her limbs all relax before she pushed against the electric-type mouse and she was able to get loose. She continued stretching and moving, feeling her already impressive speed increasing. She shot a sharp glare at the Raichu. This was far from over!
"Brace yourself Seraph! Here it comes!" Katie shouted as the ground began to rumble. The tiny flower looked around fearfully as the floor under her started to shake violently. The Onix burst out of the ground with a menacing roar and Seraphim let out a frightened squeal. "Go on and grab hold of his horn," Katie commanded, looking as though she weren't at all bothered by the Onix's loud roaring.
Being slammed by that dig attack had hurt but the Roselia wasn't defeated yet. She quickly jumped up and grabbed a hold of the large stony horn that was protruding from the Onix's head, wrapping her flowery arms around it and holding on as tightly as she could. "Now use mega drain!" Katie shouted. After two growths this should really pack a punch to the rock-type. Seraphim nodded and as she continued to hold on tightly to the Onix as the thorns on her body began to extend and attach themselves to the rocky snake's body before they would attempt to start draining away the snake's energy and give it back to the grass-type Seraphim.
Kasiya could only watch as the two friends fell to the ground, though it appeared to all be in good fun as they were both laughing. With these two in tow the trip would not be a boring one, that's for sure. She knelt down to get a better look at the Totodile, completely oblivious to the Water-type's ginormous ego. She'd been about to as Robin a question about him when suddenly Jason went running off towards the boarding ramp. "Hey, not without me, you don't!" Kasiya hollered, forgetting all about the little gator as she slung her backpack over her shoulder and gave chase. Trying to remember Cynthia's words from yesterday she slowed her pace a bit, not sure if she'd need a ticket or not. She stopped in front of the sailor who was minding the ramp, chuckling nervously as he gave her a once-over. "Uh, hi?" she asked, not sure what she should be doing next.
"It's okay, Henri, she's with me," Cynthia's calm and cool voice spoke up, and both the sailor and Kasiya turned to see the lovely woman standing there, wearing a light smile. The sailor nodded and gestured for Kasiya to go up the ramp, and she did, after thanking Cynthia, presumably to continue chasing after Jason. The Champion turned around to make sure the others would make it all right as well.
Kasiya couldn't help but be completely awestruck by the ship and how large it was, and she ran over to one of the railings and leaned over, enjoying the way the sea air tossed her hair around her shoulders. It wasn't the same as the sea breeze in Vermilion but it was still quite pleasant, and she looked over the railing towards the pier, sighing heavily. Jason and Robin's presences had been enough to help her to actually get on the ship, and now that she was on board she couldn't help but feel sad as she scanned the growing crowd for that familiar mop of red hair. She'd wanted more than anything to at least be able to say one of those long, romantic goodbyes like in the movies, but after the redhead's last stunt with Sasha she knew it would never happen. Maybe that's his way of saying he's angry about me not staying here in Hoenn with him, she thought sadly, slumping against the railing a little. So much for a happy sendoff. She sighed and closed her eyes, wishing she could build up a thick, brick wall around her heart so that he wouldn't be able to hurt it anymore.
=-=-=-=-=
Surge couldn't help but laugh when his plan went off without a hitch and the Sneasel was slammed into the ground by Raichu. He was a little disappointed to see that it was still raring to go after that, but at the same time he was quite impressed. He liked challengers with a lot of spunk in them. "Haha! Not bad, Missy, not bad at all! But we ain't done yet! Now Raichu, let's use Shock Wave!"
Raichu, on the other hand, was quite enjoying the battle with this Sneasel. It wasn't too often he got to fight with a Pokemon that was speedy and spirited, like he was. He rubbed his paws together as he generated a current of electricity that he launched towards Akima. Win or lose, at the very least he could say that he enjoyed this match!
When the pretty blonde girl bent down to probably start worshiping his greatness Black*Star puffed his small chest out in pride and flexed a little to show her his awesome muscles. However the yelling of that boy from earlier stopped her from admiring his epicness! How could he! Growling Black*Star didn't even wait for Robin before taking off towards the ship after the girl and the one who stole the attention away from him!
Watching Black*Star run off Luffy just stared with interest before looking back at Robin who was picking herself up and then back at the boat. He wanted to go on the boat! Ditching his trainer as well Luffy let out a loud woop followed by happy laughter as he headed off towards the boat and dashed up the ramp passing Black*Star. Making it up to the top Luffy stood on both of his tails and looked at the huge boat that would be taking them over. "Yohohoho!"
Robin didn't seem to mind that her pokemon ditched her as she dusted herself off and glanced back at Masamori. "Well I know you aren't coming with us but thank you for checking up on me, and feeding us." Robin beamed up at the serious and stoic man.
"Hm, be careful." Masamori said before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a ticket that had a small note on it. "Here it's from Ampersand." With that he just nodded and headed off back into the street's of Lilycove.
Blinking a few times Robin looked down at the note and the ticket before grinning. Deciding to read the note later Robin stuck it into her pocket and headed off towards the boat. Showing off her ticket to the guy Robin cheerfully skipped up the ramp to join her friends.
Unlike the others Dante was a lot calmer then them and after a quick go through of his bag he found the ticket his mom had left him as well as a small note as to where he could pick up his egg when he got to Sinnoh. Walking and not running like the rest Dante and Hera headed over to the docking ramp and after waiting behind a few people, a small line was starting to gather, he showed the man his ticket and joined the other's on the boat.
Looking around this had to be the biggest boat he had ever seen let alone been on. At his side Hera was practically flying with joy, her wings kept buzzing as she looked around excitedly. There were trainers everywhere with all kinds of pokemon and Dante would bet that there would be all kinds of battles and trading going on on board.
~~~~~~

Seeing the others strategy Roark couldn't help but be impressed again even as his Onix roared in pain. "Onix I know it hurts but let's take them for a ride with us! Use your Dig again!" Roark just hoped that the Roselia would let go either before they hit the ground or if she stayed on the Mega Drain would at least end, his Onix couldn't take much more of that.

Letting out a pained roar Roarks Onix swayed a little before it started to dive back underground. Dig sounded like a good idea, it would let him recover a little from the stinging pain of the tiny flower on his head.

When the trainer who'd crash-landed the Golbat only moments earlier mentioned that the ferry would begin boarding passengers soon, Keegan looked around to find that the statement was indeed true. People were heading towards the ship now and just to be sure, the redhead checked his own watch. "Damn, it's time already?" he mumbled, not bothering to say a word to Sasha or Kilik as he turned on a heel, deciding to follow after the tall blue-haired trainer and his Pidgey, since he seemed to know where he was going. Even though Keegan wasn't going to Sinnoh today he still wanted to see off Dante and Kasiya, though in all honesty he hadn't seen the harm in the little prank he'd pulled on both Sasha and the Pidgeot-boy earlier, but in like most cases he hadn't thought it through entirely. By the time he arrived at the pier there was already quite a gathering of people getting on board the ferry, and Keegan couldn't help but feel his heart sink a little. There were very few people who were not getting on board; from the looks of them they were most likely the parents of some of the other trainers there to see off their kids.

He spotted Dante climbing up the boarding ramp with his Heracross, but he didn't see Kasiya anywhere at all. He let out a frustrated sigh and stuffed his hands in his pockets. He didn't know when he'd see her again and he was suddenly quite furious with himself for not having the foresight to ask the girl if he could accompany her to the ship before boarding. It was then that he was hit with a brilliant idea and he quickly yanked his PokeNav out of his coat pocket and selected the name that was listed second in his contacts page - his home phone number was first, of course - and hit dial. He brought the device to his ear as it began to ring. Come on, Kassie, pick up, he thought impatiently, hoping for the off-chance that she might not have boarded yet and that he'd still get to say a proper goodbye.
