"Absolutely! My mum taught us kids that dessert isn't optional, it's necessary," Taji giggled, smiling brightly to Mara. Something about the girl made her want to be around her even more.

Taji picked up a dessert menu and handed it to Mara before getting one for herself. She thumbed through the pages and smiled, looking at all the choices. "Everything looks so good. I guess I'll get a brownie sundae," she said with a nod.

Taji giggled, making sure the waiter heard their orders as they came to check for desserts. She leaned into the booth, snuggling down into it before she smiled to Mara.
