Farfarello backed a half-step, half hiding behind Perrault. "Perrault, here is your coat, in case we never have the pleasure of seeing each other again." The demon had no thoughts of being banished when he said this, but many of running.

The forces of Dela were not completely defenseless. Unlike Baelta, they employed magecraft, and quite a few of them, even if only one or two were powerful enough to resist the Mindbreakers' onslaught. But this was to the Magi's advantage; while the best was busily fending off the bulk of the Mindbreakers, the lesser Magi (although by far not incompetent in the least) were busy employing their powers.
A cannon blew up. The gunpowder inside of it had been superheated, somehow, by an intelligent Magus, and then the cannon had simply... blown up.
Bael roared in frustration. He redoubled his efforts to gain control of that one irritating Magus... it was very difficult... but under the combined forces of all fourteen (one had already died in the raining fire), the Magus eventually collapsed.
"Now," Bael said to his two Ganzi companions, "Telgove. I leave you in control of the errant Magus. Use it to kill the other Magi."
Then Bael stood and left the tent to find a restorative potion for his aching mind.
Ephlas pushed himself up off of the ground. "That was very foolish of me," he self-admonished, "but it should have worked... on a ghost. The void poses no barrier for magic - indeed, magic is the gateway between this realm and others...."
Ignoring the seeds, Ephlas began drawing more golden, glowing symbols. "I can give it light...." Ephlas murmured, preparing the spell he had already used once before, against the giant Horde crab.

A sizable number of troops were now ready to march north to Dela. Helenne was still scurrying about, trying to make sure everything was being done effectively. She was sure to be positively certain that more troops remained in the capital, than in the rebel faction's base, solely for the purpose of not seeming suspicious to the reluctant Duke, who might perceive the entire plan as a trap to weaken his own defenses.
Most of the rebelling faction's soldiers would be moving towards Dela as it were, in any case.
((I think Dela should fall before Helenne's forces march, as well. It would be better if they don't march, and just prepare their defenses. Dela will fall before they can reach it, anyway.
*looks at my post* Hey, I'm feeling a bit patriotic with my colors, today. xd ))

(Hashmal was poised for defending Clem, who she saw as the weakest link.)
The Dark Knight needed no goading, the sharp blade whirled about in a horizontal slice at Inge. "You have delayed me long enough, phantom!"
Clem hastily prepared another flare, just in case...
"OhElysiaIhopethisworks!" he mumbled.

"come on... hurry Bael..." Malakai whispered as the cannon exploded, "I only have eleven left... and it'll take a while to reforge more..."

Leonard glared at Perrault, who was now between him and the demon, "Are you the one foolish enough to summon this monster? We've summoned their ilk before, and in one case... released one before we banned research into that area... There is nothing to be gained by mingling with demons. I suggest you step aside so that this creature may be removed from this world before someone removes its shackles."

Farfarello griminced; Leonard had hit the nail on the head (minus assuming Perrault could even raise a devil). "Not a fan of diversity, is he?" He mumbled into Perrault's ear.

"Don't listen to its words... They are poison on the mind!" Leonard warned. There was a reason he wanted to banish this demon. He was the one who released one in the Academy ten years ago. He had summoned many, and thought an unbound one (though it said it wouldn't and seemed very sincere) would aid him, he'd been wrong. The unbound demon rampaged through the Academy (luckily it never got out... the many magi inside erected a barrier,) destroying equipment and materials before Leonard could banish it (with help.) He was older and stronger now, and didn't want anyone else to make his mistake.

"How offensive. Perrault, my friend, you know I'm quite harmless," Farfarello began to whisper, though not quietly enough that Leonard wouldn't hear, "the old man's just scared of what he doesn't understand - like everyone else I've met - except for you." His words were smooth and sharp. "Raedou wouldn't want me sent back to Hell, you know." He added as an afterthought.

(The one I made up to justify Leonard's want to banish the Demon, or This story?) "There isn't such a thing as a harmless demon, elf... They are all liars, skilled and impressive ones, but liars nonetheless!" Leonard said in response to the demon. "As an archmagus of the Academy, I cannot allow such a creature to freely walk upon this world! It is too dangerous!"

"I have." Leonard said, "I've met many demons..." He gripped the staff tightly and looked over at the door. The Academy secretary had closed it. He looked back at the demon, an angry glare in his eyes.

[I finally got around to finishing and opening my new RP XD It took so long because I had difficulties finding pictures for the pre-mades...]
[Also, I remember Perrault asked Jaeto if he knew were the prince was, but then there was a big deal going on about Farfarello's horns and what not... I think Jaeto was forgotten about then they were whisked away when Leanard called security or something on him... Now I'm not quite sure what to do... SO]
Cal and Jaeto were pushed out of the tower as Archmagus planned to apprehend the 'demon'. Calisto didn't see any demon in there, so she didn't know what was going on. Maybe she'd been found out and was being arrested?
