Seza had already gotten a few feet down before she looked up and saw saw Alonzo was a bit behind, so she just slowed her pace down a bit, pausing every now and then, like a normal person would.

Alonzo did notice that Seza slowed down, and he blushed a little. "You can keep going if you want. I'll get down there eventually." He smiled a little and tried to speed up a little.

Klaudia stopped beside the growing piles of earth and unloaded her bundle of sticks. Without a word, she went to grab a pail and ladel, filled the pail with water, and put it down at the edge of the hole. "Make sure you two drink. We don't want either of you becoming ill." She smiled a little, then headed back to the trees to collect more wood.

Lishkra chuckled. "Never heard of a drake hmm. What do people think dragons are?" Lishkra stared into her eyes.

"Well..okay," Seza said, getting back to regular pace. She looked up at Klaudia and gave her a thumbs up."Thanks for looking out for us."

In a few minutes, she got down to about the depth they were after. "This is going to take a lot longer than I thought it would..." she said to herself, thinking about having to go around the entire Inn.

Lishkra began laughing. He laughed so hard he nearly fell off of Amor. He righted himself and chuckled. "My dear, everything is not so black and white. Everything has its goods and evils."

"Even the terms good and evil are foolish representations of a false truth. Yes dragons are hunted for their hides and hearts and such, but dragons do not only fight to protect themselves. This friend of yours was spinning quite a tail. I'm sure he was a friendly and elf loving dragon, but not all are so. Remember this."

Athena nodded. "Yea I know." She laughed when he nearly fell off Amor. "I have met a few dragons that Amor and I had to fight." She kept looking at him. "What do you mean by black and white?" She asked turning around to face Lishkra. She had to place her hands on his shoulders to steady herself. Athena pulled them back to her self and stared at him. Amor flew even and smooth careful not knock her off. Wise old fart! she laughed to herself making a joke. She smiled at the man and looked him over.

Lishkra stared at Athena intently for a moment before smiling. "I'm sure they were young dragons. The old and powerful dragons would need a powerful mage, a battalion of archers, and a group of knights at the very least. Everyone at the inn combined couldn't hope to slay a powerful dragon." Lishkra looked out, deep into the magical forest.

"What I mean by black and white is this. Nothing is simple and predictable. Not even the gods. The worst villain has redeeming qualities. Same with the best hero, he or she will always have his or her own demons that they have to contend with."

The village came into sight. Lishkra looked over at it. "We're almost there."

Lishkra dismounted from Amor. He looked through the trees into what he could see of the village from where they were. Not much was visible, just a few buildings. Lishkra walked off towards the road to the village. Once he was there he waited.
