"Shhh darling" She cooed into her ear as she took her up to a bedroom. She laid her on the bed then climbed on wrapping her arms soothingly around her. "It'll be okay."

she bit her lip softly, her shaking had stopped but the picture of the girl still lingered in her mind "does it ever go away? the image of what they look like after?"
