@_@ My second pixel edit. The first being that I colored Benger's picture of Rakey.
This one... took... 4 hours. =3= These things are so annoying to do but, I like that accomplished feeling you get when your done :3

Seriously now, I must say it's a wonderful work that gives a whole new dimension to the base one. You should get a nice feeling of accomplishment, because it is quite the accomplishment! (I know I would never have the patience to do this...)

URG I used to think that the really bad edits showed they didn't put any effort into it but, this is really hard. So I have this new respect for pixel artists... >>

I like the hair O.o
It's a fine attempt. You should add more "depth to shading" everywhere, not just the hood! Don't be afraid to push the shadows really deep! You can always fix it, since you're working in digital. Unlike traditional, where you have to do it all over again... crying

Technically speaking, it's a Flash tool that recognizes mouse-written Chinese and Japanese characters (which is how I normally use it). But Tegaki usually refers to the same Flash tool being used to draw on websites like TagakiE and stuff. It's kind of like MSPaint when used that way, I think.
