Kayla took the watch and, after a moment of hesitation, pressed it to her wrist. Her hand convulsed into a fist once, but she could tell that the pain was worth it. She thought bitterly of Hielith for a moment. Now there was a demon who definately had not been won over by her little show of force. "Thanks," she said. It came out as a cracked whisper, so she cleared her throat and tried again. "Thanks." She nodded towards the iPod. "That's interesting. You store spells like files?"

Ted nodded, and went about trying to figure out that barrier. It was really close to his body, almost as if he had absolute control over it, and only as a last resort. And another thing, he always seemed to be facing the attack, wherever it came from. "Um, guys, I may not be magically inclined at the moment, but that barrier seems to be solely concentrated in the front. Unless he was just not letting anything hit his back to make us think this, I think his back is unprotected."

Joe nodded at Ted. "I noticed the same thing. While I don't think it's a good idea to underestimate Legion in that respect, that might be our only chance at the moment. Any other suggestions? If not, then we just surround him, attack as one, and try to keep his attention diverted."

"The barrier blocks heat and energy, stops us from moving within a certain distance of him, and causes anything entering to become motionless, from what I can tell," Takeshi observed. "Circling sounds good, but what do we do if that doesn't work? From what I've seen, he always has a couple of backup plans, and usually a few backups to those ones as well."

Aurelie stepped forward rather nervously, raising one hand a little. "Well, our magic is pretty pathetic compared to his, as well as our physical strength. But remember his other lesson from earlier? About the Titans fister? He said to find your oppnents weakness; for example his was innocent people in immediate danger." She turned and looked at Joe, tilting her head. "You said something earlier that actually made him twitch Joe, I thought I heard you, but I don't remember exactly what it was. Do you remember? You cursed or something, and he got really offended. If you do that again, maybe it will distract him enough for us to score a hit if we all attack then."

"That's right..." Takeshi murmured, a smile forming. "He faltered when you said 'Jesus.' Of course, if we all yell that as we strike him and it doesn't work, we'll look like a bunch of idiots, but if it does... hell, it's worth a shot, right?"

Aurelie smiled, then nodded quickly. "Yes, thats what it was. Takeshi, you're right. I think it may work. It is like where the good guy, the Titans fister, doesn't like us doing major bad. So it kinda makes sense Legion shouldn't like holy stuff. That he twitched just by Joe saying Jesus kinda proves it. But we cant just wait and scream it. Maybe if he just poofs back in here, we could all say "holy jesus!" , which should throw him off, then attack together as fast as we could for surprise."

"Not a problem," Paul responded. He grinned. "Yeah. I couldn't think of anything better, honestly. I've got a few other magic objects on my person, but this is my primary defense. Why force yourself to go ruffling through your pockets looking for a specific tool when you can just find it and lock it in here?"

Ted thought about it, and while it seemed decent, he found one major flaw with it. "Guys, hate to do this to ya. He did say he wouldn't attack, but if we say something like that, and he actually does flinch because he doesn't like it, what's to prevent him from retaliating? If my fear or something I was uncomfortable with was shoved in my face, no matter how much I said before I wouldn't attack, I would just to put some distance between me and whatever caused it. Legion would probably be the same, only worse, since he is many people all at once."

Joe nodded thoughtfully. "It's definitely a solid plan, but Ted is right." He looked up. "I'll tell ya what. I think that since saying "Sweet Jesus" caused a twitch, then if we were to assault him with prayers, or perhaps psalms, we could incapacitate him, at least for a second. Even if we didn't, then I doubt he would have enough focus to maintain his shield." He glanced over at Takeshi. "Again, the answer lies in splitting our forces. I think that Takeshi and I could draw his attention by using holy references, and you two could attack him. If Takeshi and I both did it, then I doubt that he could seriously hurt the two of us if we kept up our defenses and kept moving. Also, Takeshi and I are better fighters, due to our training and experience. I'm also pretty well-versed in psalms and prayers, so I think that might do more damage to him. Sound good to everyone?"

Takeshi gave Joe an odd look.
"If he wants to hurt us, he'll hurt us, no matter how well we dodge. I figure if we don't have any objections to that, though, we might as well use that and, ah, pray he isn't able to put him demons to the purpose of multitasking for him..."

Ted nodded, and even if he could fight, none of the others knew it at the moment. Although he did have an idea, something he barely noticed before. "Sounds fair, but I need somebody to do something to me really quick. Throw a low power fireball."

Aurelie shifted, rubbing the back of her head. "Yes, I had thought of that actually. I was afraid of something like that, and I really didn't want to piss him off. I wasn't going to say anything either, but it is kind of like he is challengeing us to figure it out. Like how he asked us how to defeat an opponant way more powerful than ourselves, the whole titans fister thing. I think it was kind of pointing us in this direction to figure it out about him. So I am hoping he would be too glad we did, to get mad enough to kill us or something...", she shrugged, looking around. "It sounds as good a plan as any though I suppose." Then a thought occurred to her and she frowned. "And, if, or hopefully when, one of us hits him, we have to stop right then. He told us by working together we could do it, and if we hit him once, we would succeed. I hope this will not piss him off, but in case it does I do not want to enrage him by continueing to attack after the one hit. If we provoke him enough he will retaliate, I have no doubt of that. I have also no doubt that if he did attack, we would all be little greasy spots on the training room floor, if that. What do all of you think?"
Then she turned her head to look at Ted rather strangely. "Throw a low power fireball at you? Are you sure? Ok.", shrugging at the strange request she turned a hand towards him, flicking her wrist as her glyph lit red for a split second. A fireball danced in her palm before she casually tossed it as Ted about chest high, its light dim without much power. Wondering what it was suppose to do she watched him curiously.

Ted felt the fireball coming at him, and he concentrated on that feeling. Almost on instinct, he latched onto it, and moved his hand in an under arch. He was slightly shocked at the fact that the fireball was now traveling back to its original sender, but he nodded as he figured out something cool he could do with magic.
((Just in case people decide to question this, Ted can affect small things with elemental attacks. Talked it over with Venom first, so I know it all good for me.....hopefully))

Aurelie easily sidestepped the little fireball, watching it hit the wall harmlessly and flicker out before looking back at Ted. She shook her head incredulously, smiling. "That was pretty cool. A handy trick."
