Antonio Inferni Ya know. That said CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM. I see nothing constructive here, only criticism. It was constructive, but here's a clearer version. Stop trying. It has no place here. That's about as constructive as it gets.

Yeah, but you took offense to it and didn't say anything more. Had to make sure it got through to you.

Dude, ******** the list. Cause not everyone wants to have a weapon/armor/item made of the same stuff. And not only that, but you can't put tiers on real life metals, considering they all have their own properties and what not.

The Urban Superstition Dude, ******** the list. Cause not everyone wants to have a weapon/armor/item made of the same stuff. And not only that, but you can't put tiers on real life metals, considering they all have their own properties and what not. Plus the fact that only 50% of people even describe beyond "Metal". And then, who even makes customs out of wood? No one, really. Let alone differentiating between hard and soft wood. It's just stupid.

Antonio Inferni Constructive Criticism from the people who know s**t about this stuff would be greatly appreciated. Material Lists WoodSoftwoods Cypress Douglas-fir European Yew Fir Pine Redcedar Redwood Spruce Whitecedar Yellow-cedar Hardwoods Alder Applewood Ash Beech Birch Blackwood Bloodwood Buckeye Cherry Chestnut Dogwood Ebony Elm Hickory Mahogany Maple Oak Walnut Willow Bamboo MetalsTraineeNoviceAdept Crude Steel Stainless Steel Expert Damascus Steel Platinum Silver Gold Master Tamahagane [Japanese Steel] Black Steel Blood Steel Sage Tungsten Carbide Plutonium Adamantium Vibranium Minerals/StoneStone Obsidian Granite Flint Onyx Jewels Aquamarine Diamond Emerald Garnet Jade Opal Ruby Sapphire Turquoise Tourmaline Fiber/Cloth/Plastic Materials Cotton Silk Fiberglass Silicon Polyester Wool Nylon Para-Cord Hemp Kevlar Velvet Cretin Latex
Here's some constructive criticism. The list is great, and the detail is welcome. However, ranks don't need to be implemented to materials - not unless they are exceptionally rare and hard to work with/ volatile, which would be determined on a case by case basis. I encourage you to keep working on this list! Just remove the rank requirements 3nodding

Very few and far between, and even then it still doesn't require ranked woods. Just saying wood is sufficient.

Having details on wood may seem unnecessary, but it's not a terrible idea if he's willing to do it... it gives people the ability to be more detailed with the trappings of their hide outs or buildings, if they want to.

I'm just saying. The list doesn't really serve a purpose. If people want to put any amount of detail into it, they should be perfectly capable of finding some wood names for themselves.

And so you want to do the research and POP! Hey, a list right in the guild with a bunch of minutia in it! Great! mrgreen
I mean it makes sense, doesn't it? What's wrong with helping our guild members if it's a guild member doing the work?

Some dude is in one of the backyards near my house, and he's locked out or something rofl and I keep hearing a thumping sound and "Hey! Open the door!"
