Reno could hear the movements of the 'lightsabers' as the robed man spun through the air. The sound was very annoying, and having the feeling that his shock-stick wouldn't be able to stand up to the energy produced by the weapons, Reno ducked and rolled underneath the sabers and closer to Cody, until he crashed into him as the man was still falling. Careful not to touch the light, Reno shoulder-charged the man knocking him backwards, then swung his shock-stick at the man's head. Reno's face had become angrier, showing that he did not care much for this man's attitude, but he said nothing.

Cody fell back onto the ground, that thing hurt...nobody hurt him...without feeling severe pain....he used his power to lift himself to his feet and held his hand out, his sabers hovering around him as Reno felt unseen fingers grab at his throat. " b*****d.." He wiped a tear from his eye....as he attempted to throw the skinny redhead.

Sephriea got to her feet, She wasn't sure what to do. But she didn't want to see Reno getting hurt ether.If she jumped back it, she was likely to get hurt again."..Let him go.."

Reno could feel an unseen power gripping against his neck, and cutting off his breath. He fell to one knee, and clutched at his throat, but he didn't give up. With a quick movement he toggled a switch on his shock stick and threw it at the man who seemed to be choking him invisibly. If Reno could have spoken through the choking he would have, but the strain on his neck was too much. As the shock-stick collided with the street in front of the man, it emitted a bright light before creating a small explosion. Hopefully enough to distract the man and enable him time to recover from the choking, otherwise it might be game over.

Reno felt the grip on his throat vanish as the glow faded, the man was nowhere to be seen, Until the sound of someone slowly clapping drew their eyes upward, to where he sat atop a building. " Marvelous! It's nice to know that you have some ingenuity....however, my blades will cut through anything that doesn't have a cortosis weave...which, surprisingly, most of the weapons on this planet DO have...so you should be able to fight me for real next time!

Reno looked upwards at the man, still trying to breathe properly, but thankfully the grip on his neck had been released. Moving his leg so he was now almost comfortably crouched, he pulled his goggles down over his eyes, and stared at the robed man. The anger inside was replaced with a smile on his lips. "I see you're being very gracious about this." Dusting himself off, he felt he could stand easily now, and so he did. His cocky attitude returning to him. "Zoto, I think it's about time we finished this." Reno no longer had a weapon, but he wanted to play it as cooly as possible, even if he knew he would have to fight on his own skill, he still had a few tricks he could use.

The man bowed and turned as with a rustle of his cloak, he disappeared from view....as all of a sudden a young looking man with long brown hair and an expensive looking black suit appeared. " Hey, what's this nonsense I hear about Seifer going nuts again, a Sith lord appearing, a new Sorceress and...woah! Aerith! He turns and nearly knocks over Reno as he runs to Aerith and helps her up, " Woah..you okay darlin'?

Reno spun slightly as a brown-haired man ran past him. Slightly confused by this event, he just continued to turn in a circle until he saw where Aerith, Shadow, Sephriea and Korangar had been during the fighting. Shaking his head as he walked towards them, he gave Sephriea a small 'thumbs up', and walked over to see if they were okay. "Zoto you little brat, are you alright?"

((I'm almost sure she was standing, but i'll go along with it. *L* ))
Aerith blinked at the young man,Some people here probably wouldn't really know of him but, she did. So did Sephriea and Yuffie. She blinked again as he helped her up.Always a little gentlemen he was, That Duo. "I'm fine, Duo. Thank you. Nice to see you again..." She managed a small smile, of all the times he choose to pop out of no where, he was a bit to late.Glanceing away from him, she took a quick look at Korangar, who was still standing there,then down to Shadow, whom she had no idea who she even was.But had idea's...
Sephriea mutterd something quietly. She never really liked him all that much. To cheerful. "..I'm fine, thanks." Her voice was full of sarcasim. "Tech.." Oh no, she was annoyed again,but this was fully directed towards Duo. She turned though, into Renos direction when she noticed he was speaking to her.How about that! Of all the people, he was the one to say something.He had his sarcastic ways,too, but it was less harsh.".Yeah..What about you?"

Korangar's head didn't move when Duo ran by, as the man was not attempting to attack the two behind him. However, he lifted up his hand, opening it so that the palm was facing upward. A small spear of shadow formed, pulsing slowly as the darkness swirled about before condensing, leaving an exact recreation of Reno's shock-stick. Gripping it for a moment, he spun it around his own hand before tossing it to Reno.

Aerith turned away from Duo for a moment, before stepping foward, so that she was no longer behind Korangar but a few feet infront, and of course, a respectable distance away. After watching his little re-creation of Reno's Electro-Rod, she gave him a small nod in thanks for looking out for her and the unknown one.
Sephriea on the other hand take a short interest in the little creation of Reno's weapon. Then shrugged, and it was quickly forgotten.She walked over to a nearby chunk of dabrie to sit down on it. The only good use out of the junk that layed around in the city.Letting her weapon rest against it, she decided to take a rest there while everyone else did..whatever it was they were going to do.
Shadow meanwhile backed off in complete silence, She was getting unconfortable with all the strange people around.People she didn't know,and she tended to be very shy of new people.She was also back in her normal atire, the little robe that hid her appearence well, as to not attract any attention to herself like she always avoided for all the time she'd been around living in the ShinRa Mansion. From her spot hidden behind a farther away peice of structure, she glanced into Sephriea's direction. She looked tierd and annoyed so bothering her right now might not be the best idea?Takeing a glance around, she found herself a nice spot to sit on the ground while she watched the others.Resting up against her was a little plushie of a Chocobo she had clutched protectively,the girl never went anywhere without it.

Turning slowly, Korangar fixed his gaze on Shadow, although all that could be seen was that he turned in her direction. However, Shadow, being attuned to the darkness in her area, knew he was looking directly at her. "I must speak with you."

Shadows eyes left the group of people for a few minutes, so that they were fixed on the plushie in her arms,which she was fixing the feathers on so that it didn't look so messy.Although the moment she had sensed that someone was looking into her direction, she looked away so that her eyes were now resting on the form of Korangar."......" The young girl got up from the ground and slowly came out of her hideing spot. A few seconds later she walked into his direction with a fairly slow pace. "..You do?" She blinked, ignoreing the rest of the people nearby so that she could talk to Korangar without being so nervous.As for being afraid of him in general, she wasn't. Sure, he was seriously tall but being tall wasn't a reason to be fearful of someone.As he was nice so far as it seemed, she didn't have anything to worry about.

Reno caught the newly created shock-stick and nodded to Korangar, a bright smile appearing on his boyish eatures. "Thanks, Korangar ", he said still smiling, and now practising the swing of the newly ceated shock-stick, though it felt like it was the exact same one he had been using during the fight. Bringing his left hand up to his face, he rubbed his thumb along the side of his nose, and brought his goggles back up so he could see clearly. His cell phone started to ring, and he brought his right hand back down to his pants pocket, and brought out his phone flipping it open and placing it to his ear without checking to see who it was. "Zoto?"
