"Well I lived in a library basicaly. I studied for fun. Other than that I use to sit on the roof and just look out at the horizon." Neferata said as she thought back to the old days of her home. her Family was a differant story. They where very... normal. "My parents were very normal. They were rich and gave me everything I ever could have wanted until they sent me off to train under Shadow. I hated them for a while but i understood in the end. They were loving and kind and gentle people. They did not deserve thier fate." she said as she trailed off to thinking about the war again and the burning city. She could still feel the heat of the flames on her skin. She wouldn't answer the third question, she had no lovers before Valaryia.

Alice smiled as she slowly sat down, facing him. "Yeah......I know. I don't really know many people here...." she said softly as she looked down at the ground. "It's hard to know anyone when you're always tired from watching a child....." she said softly putting her hands behind her, leaning back on them.

"I know and I'm sorry Isabella. You don't have to leave if you don't want to." Felicity said as they descended down the stairs her old favorite black knee high boots clacking as she walked. She dressed comfortable and casual for this journey, in jeans and off the shoulder black shirt with her emrald birth stone necklace. She had got it from her parents on her 16th birthday when they were still alive and she was human.
As Felicity reached the door Alexia looked up at her mother with sad eyes "Momma why isn't daddy going with us on our vacation?" Felicity's heart felt like it was ripping as she looked at the sad expression set on her daughters face as she knelt down in front of her so she was at eye level. "Umm...sweetie...." she knelt there looking for the right words and looked up at her friend not knowing what to say. After a moment Felicity finally looked up at Alexia and told her flat out "He didn't want to come with us.He had something to stay here for and do." 'more like someone to do.' she thought trying not to puke as she felt the bile rise in her throat "Oh I see...he doesn't love me does he?" Alexia asked as she looked down to the floor.Felicity sat there not sure how to respond to what her daughter had said she didn't want to tell her the true that no your father doesn't love you or your brother. She just couldn't tell a 6 year old that sort of thing so she looked to her friend for some help.

Valaryia softly ran her fingers through Neferata's hair. "I'm sorry my love," she said quietly. She wondered greatly now about Neferata's past lovers or past love interests, for she was jealous at heart, but couldn't dare bring that up. Not with the negative and sad energy Valaryia felt from Neferata.

Alice looked up at him before falling back on the ground, looking up at the sky. She sighed softly with a slight smile. "Yeah......I can tell. A child that isn't even mine thinks that I'm her mother......" she said softly as she slowly closed her eyes. "But it's hard staying up night and day to watch her during the day and to socialize at night......" she said softly, opening her eyes slightly looking up at the sky again.

"I do miss my family and thier company. I miss the view from Drakenhoff's talest spires. I miss so much from then but I have you now. I no longer need to feel bad about being a survivour." Neferata looked to Valaryia and smiled at her. It always made her feel better, just looking at her.

Alice looked up at him and smiled. "Mine......" she said softly with a slight giggle. "Just kidding....." she said softly as she slowly sat up. "She was brought to the orphanage I was at when she was only a baby. The women who works there didn't have to have the responsibility of taking care of her. So she made me do it. So in the end she thinks I'm her mother, and she followed me here......" she said softly as she looked down at the ground a sad look in her eyes. "Because of me........she won't have a normal life......" she said softly.

Valaryia smiled and leaned in, kissing Neferata softly. "I'm glad I can make things easier for you," she said quietly. She stood up, her fingers still intertwined in Neferata's hair. She loved playing with it. "
I'm going to go to bed darling," she said. "If you'd like to join me... well, we won't be sleeping for a while, but..." she winked.

Neferata's smile grew as she walked up the stairs and into the room Valaryia and herselfs shared. She locked the door and brought up the ward before lying in the bed with Valaria.
Shadow sat in the arm chair still smoking. He was lost in hsi own thoughts once again. How he hates his mind these days.

Felicity worked on sending a message to Shadow through her mind to his 'I hope you're happy you just made Alexia think you don't love her' she concentrated on sending. After Shadow had left when he was transforming she worked on the skill that he had acquired and had become better at it each day.

"Nonsence. I want to come. My things will be here when I come back." Isabella gave her friend a faint smile with her words. But once they reached the bottom of the stairs she begun to wonder who they would do this. Isabella kneeled down again and reached out to Alexia. "Honey. It's not that your papa doesn't love you, it's that he doesn't know who great you are. He's willing to let you go because he thinks you will one day come back to him, but lets show him. Lets show him how great you really are, then he'll see that he should have come with while he had the chance. Become the best person you can be and one day he'll be sorry that he let you and your mommy go. And then he'll want you back, but you know what, you'll have so many better people in your life by then, so many friends that really truly love you and wont want you to leave that daddy will see what a big mistake he made. I have some friends out in Italy, and they have some kids who I know are going to love to play with you, I promise you'll have fun. And you'll have your doll to tell all your secrets to. And you'll have me and your mommy...do you understand honey?" Isabella hoped Alexia would understand, she hoped the girl wouldnt cry.

"Those are just more conciquences of my actions that I have to live with. I still love her. I have no way of showing it now. I have to live with it I know you both are lost to me for good." He said to Felicity through thier mentel connection. Shadow forgot about severing the bond he shared with her. It was somehting he would have to do shortly. The last thing either of them needed was an open emotional conection liek this.

Felicity rolled her eyes at what Shadow had told her 'no we aren't lost to you forever...and go ahead and break the bond I can still send you messages I have adapted the ability to do this.' she sent back a reply. Looking back at Alexia she stood and picked her daughter up "Isabella's right sweetie...your daddy just doesn't know how special you truly are. Maybe one day he'll be able to see that. Ok?" Alexia buried her face in her mothers hair and shoulder as she cried silently. Felicity sent another message to Shadow and put as much anger into it as she could 'you've really ******** things up with your daughter right now' Felicity reached for the door and walked out telling the cab driver where their bags were while she carried Alexia to cab and climbed in. With a sigh she sat there comforting Alexia.
