Black was placing away the samples for now when she came over to him. When she took his arm, he looked at the blade warily before looking back up to her. "Of course I trust you Katherine."

"Good, then hold still." Her power he would feel trickling into him as his arm went numb and she made a small cut on his arm which would bleed slightly. She pricked her the tip on her fingre and let her blood trail up his cut. He would at once feel a rush, like some kind of amazeing drug. His sight would improve, smell all of his senses. His own cut would slowly close, he would even be able to feel that with amazeing sensation. Katherine let go of his arm.

Black just watched on, strangely when she made his arm numb. Though his eyes almost widened when she cut him. When she dripped her own blood into him, it was strange as it healed back up on its own. He just looked up at her, a little confused. "What... what was that all about?"

"If you drank it, the effect would be the same. The feeling of it. To much can kill, it raises heart rate so to much will kill but, I hadn't thought of it before. I just thought.. I don't know." She sighed setting down the dagger. She hadn't thought about it but maybe it could help.

"If you raise their blood pressure too much, it will circulate through their system too fast and it could kill them more quickly. I just need one more day to do this. I'm already racked with how many others have died while I'll been here searching for it. Though I'm going to cure it Katherine..." He told her as he almost looked away. "Cause just as much as you, I don't want to lose him either. Though he won't leave this without permanent injury."

She only noded and watched him work. She had hoped that possiably he could use it maybe. She didn't know. She moved alittle away to let him work but still paced.
((where has he been today anyway i am soooo very bord.))

As soon as he was done placing things away, he stood up and walked up to her. "I've given the medical teams instructions on what to do and now they're on it so I can take a break. Why dn't we both take a break, even if only for a few minutes?"

Katherine noded some not knowing if he ment for them to leave the room or not. She would follow him. "The younger one of my clerks died last night." She spoke in a worried tone. "I wonder what has brought this on."

"Ouch, I can't imagine how hard his father took it." He told her after hearing about the boy. Black lead her from the medical wing to the kitchen. The sight of some of the demoralized soldiers on the way was making him depressed. He grabbed out a bottle of wine and two glasses, pouring them both cups. "I shouldn't be drinking, but I've heard a glass a day is good for you."

"In this case it is best to drink it" She took her glass sipping it. "It could have been me you know, I don't drink water though, I didn't have the soup either because i don't eat meat." Something only very few people knew about her.

"Luckily I didn't have the soup either. Otherwise my team would be fumbling around without someone to guide them and the gods know how disorganized they are without an order." He told her as he took a sip of the wine. Right now it tasted better then anything. "If this lasts too much longer, the entire capital will be wiped out. At least I know a solution. I just have to make sure the teams get the ingredients and mixtures right."

"All that are sick are it, 80% is what I am told of our population got it. We have spent many hours in town working with people and showing them where to get clean water as well as helping those who got sick. Mostly children of died of it." Katherine wasn't happy about that either but it was better than all of her people dead.

"The... children all... DAMNIT!" Black shouted as he downed his first one and slammed the glass down, pouring himself more. "Then a day isn't going to cut it. "80%.... grrr... augh... a day really isn't going to help. We need to get it done faster."

Katherine was silent to that, she didn't have anger couldn't feel it she guessed she would have if she had the emotion. She didn't though she just looked down at her wine glass. "I know.. its pretty bad. I have screwed up really bad."

"Stop blaming yourself, Katherine. None of this is your fault and it never was. Llyr just has a lot of enemies and unfortunately, your rule got caught with all the problems." Black said in an almost annoyed tone. He couldn't figure this out at all. Who was it? "The fact anyone got their hands on that much mercury is perplexing. This whole thing is a disaster and afterwards we'll be weakened to attack. Might it have been someone from Rhina? Or Tesla?"
