Matachi lays competely out of it. A nurse sits near his bed along with a few other medical staff. They are standing there talking to each other wondering what exactly to do at this point. He was in a complete dead like state not capable to think or react as his body fought this invader, should they end it for him? ease him out of it?

Black could hear the staff talking about Matachi and quickly shoved them aside. "You're not putting him out of it. You're not doing anything to him." He told them and pulled out a syringe. Like a few of the others it had a red liquid in it. "Matachi, this won't purge it out of your bloodstream, but it should keep the poison from spreading too far before I find a cure." He says, jabbing the needle into Matachi's arm and injecting the liquid before pulling it back. "Hang in there."

Matachi just laid there, a few soldiers carry the corpse off a soldier that had gotten poisoned as, from the medical wing on a stretcher. Matachi's body remains in the same state, his breath short and off as his body with the aid of blacks potion helped his body slowly fight a losing battle. Soldiers through out the town respectfully started collecting the bodies of children and families bringing them to be buried

Katherine moved off the wall and went back to the dishearting work. She though in this act showed them she sufferd with them. She would help those that she could.

Paradox had lost the quick Katherine. He searched quietly through the abandoned streets for her, and whoever had caused this. It was hard going, since this man had apparently concealed himself well.

Black sat at his desk and sighed. He had looked at every sample he could find and he still couldn't figure it out. "C'mon you idiot... the citizens of Llyr depend on this cure. Though first we need to figure out what it is." He turned to his books and looked through them again.

Matachi coughs, being gagged abit by the object keeping him from biting his tongue. He was not waking it was a body outburst of air that had built up, but it did perk up the medical teams who where distraught abit when it ended up being for nothing but just a cough.

Katherine had worked for hours. Her horse had been sent home and she was ready to go by this time. They had done all they could for that night so she started to walk back up the hill. She was far from happy at this time. Distressed really and worried. She caught sight of Paradox soon, it was hard not to with his height and everything. "Hey, i think we have done all we can for tonight."

Paradox turned around, to see Katherine. He let out a sigh of releif. " I sampled the other wells that were infected. Whatever it is, it's the same everywhere. The only thing I can compare it to, massive lead poisoning." Paradox told Katherine. The giant started walking back with her. The castle wasn't far away.

"I have been trying to think of ways to clean it, but i was wondering if it wouldn't just wash out i mean we don't have a well system like most think because we are so close to the ocean so if you dig so deep you only find sea water." Katherine walked beside him she wonderd in that moment what he was to have been able to drink it. She stopped then and turned to look at him. She seemed like she was about to say something and then just started walking again.

Paradox nodded. "I think your right. It can't last forever, but then maybe it's not supposed to." Paradox hinted at something worse than just poisoned water. He might have been able to drink it, but there were drawbacks to that. He followed Katherine.

Katherine was silent for the rest of the trip back, but once she was at her own gates she stopped she looked up the castle and felt a sinking feeling, "What if he.. then it would be my fault for getting him involved with this hole mess in the end it always comes back to that." She wasn't talking to Paradox really they were her own douts. She was the fool who had tied others so closely around her which she should have never done.

Paradox sighed to himself. "It's life, Katherine. Nobody has ever gotten by without losing something. You and I are not exceptions to that unwritten rule." She was not the only fool who had tied others too closely to herself. Paradox had done that, and had lost every single one, because of it. Seven freinds for seven weapons.
