Bah, as upset as I was, I didn't take it to heart too much. I shouldn't have called him an idiot. Even though he was one. "Good guy with a gun" my a**.
I feel you, I don't open up as much as I should. But then again, I don't think it's normal to freeze in the middle of the day and suddenly contemplate the nature of death and oblivious, and then walk around for the next six hours feeling like a simulation.

@Welian: Sorry, i was assuming from context.
@Magni: Is Platinum a new type of TF?
Man, family visiting sure makes time fly by... Now back to normalcy.

Well...yes...but in this case, I refer to the new currency on Gaia. Platinum is worth 1p to 10 million gold.
It is kind of what I said so long ago. Divide wealth by a few zeroes, round up, and go from there.

Oh, yeah, that. At least it's optional for now.

It is optional, yes . . . but according to the release I saw said that all the grants have been set up to work toward using the platinum.

It's definitely the future way; better a transition period than a hard cutover, though.

I believe it is a transition- the switch is not mandatory yet.

Meaningless miscellaneous post to both gain posting fund reward and pretend there is activity.

Thanksgiving is approaching quickly, and with it my 4 weeks Thanksigivng-Christmas vacation. I took very little vacation in 2016, so I have a ton this year.

I sincerely hope you will be able to enjoy all that time, good sir. Goodness knows you earned every moment of it.

Hooray vacation! My office has two paid holidays for Thanksgiving, so everyone gets a four-day weekend. They're pretty generous with paid holidays compared to a lot of other places, I wonder sometimes if it's because the CEO is from Europe.

Normally I do not work on thursdays, so Thanksgiving would have been off . . . but somebody that was supposed to work it can't for X reason. I was asked, and I thought I would have to work it anyway. Thus, I work 9-4 on the holiday for holiday pay. Black friday will be off, thought. Asked for that off so we could go around and look at sales.

I mostly need to sleep a lot. Maybe I'll get something productive done as well.
My company also gives Friday off; it's a good trend.
Holiday pay can be lucrative, though it still doesn't make up for the sacrifice of family time.

In this case, I hardly mind. I am getting out of the obligation of going to my in-laws and putting up with all their drama. Instead, I will conveniently miss virtually all of that crap and just pick up my family at the end.
