Remus shook his head.
"No, you sound like a good friend, or something," he said with a smile. "I'll be fine, I can make it up to Madam Pomfrey's on my own. Not that she can do much beside shove me in a bed and change the bandage."
"You guys still have a few things to find and its coming up on eleven, hurry up and you might get a couple hours with me before the full moon," he said significantly, grasping Sirius' hand. "We can...talk."

Sirius raised an eyebrow.
"Talk? That's sounds...foreboding," he smiled then and nodded. "But yeah, I hate to say it, but with you back at the castle, maybe we'll move faster. Less chance of the group having to stop so a snog session can stop." He chucked then and leaned forward.
"Love you," he whispered quietly, letting his eyes fall shut as he pressed his lips into Remus'. He pulled back a few seconds later, his cheeks tinged pink.
"You better go now..." he murmured huskily, before clearing his throat embarrassed.

Remus smiled, stepping reluctantly away from Sirius. "I love you too," he said softly. "We'll talk more later, the blush looks good on you though."
"Just be careful, the lot of you and don't get eaten by an Acromantula."
(gah, painfully short but...I couldn't think of anything else to write)

Sirius bit his lip and shook his head smiling, unable to will the blush away.
"Oh get out of here you!" he said playfully and lightly pushing Remus.
"We won't get eaten, not unless you do. I'll wake you up when we get back." He shook his head and laughed then turned to the rest of the group.
"C'mon you guys! Let's go find us a spider web!" he announced. He started to lead the group off in the other direction, giving a final glance towards Remus. He smiled and waved before turning around again and grabbing Kathryn and Harry.
"Kiddos, you two are in a world of trouble now that you're stuck with me and Bird Brains..."

Kathryn nudged the leaves around with her decrepit shoe in the form of a circle. It amused her as she didn't quite want to here how the "news" of Remus and Sirius gay-ness was revealed. Strangely enough the older boy did not have an outburst, which was surprising for someone who just found out his godfather was alive.
"Does this make you my godmother, Professor Lupin?" Harry said wryly. Kathryn snorted and had to hug the nearest tree to support.
"Godmother... Ho' s**t..." She managed to say between breaths. Slowly she slid down onto her bottom still laughing her arse off, tears of mirth dripping down her cheeks, which was the colour to match her hair. It took her several minutes to calm herself and regain her composure.
"Keep an eyes on them. Liz isn't here at the moment, Kathryn's nearly in a similar state as I am, and Harry," he frowned, "he's still a bit too much of a hero something. He'll rush in and do something stupid if you don't stop him." Remus said. Kathryn cocked an eyebrow.
"Wouldn't that be like blind leading the blind? Seriously" Kathryn said before laughing at her horrible fuzzy blob vision.

Harry watched in confusion as Lupin - Remus made his exit. He might have been without his glasses, but it was rather obvious that Sirius had kissed Lu - Remus goodbye. As Sirius came ambling back to them and had grabbed him and Kathryn around the shoulders, he was smiling again.
"Seriously, Sirius, are we really going to the Acromantula's cave?" he asked nervously. "As fun as that sounds, I'm um...glassesless."
He motioned to his face. "That might be a bit of a problem."

Sirius blinked and looked at Harry.
"You have a point...umm...Kathryn, do have anything wonderful and special and grand in your nifty bag of doom there that I can transfigure into a pair of glasses for Harry? I'd use something from the forest, but I fear that the comfort level wouldn't be very high. It'd be like he was wearing sticks or something uncomfortable like that."

Giving Harry a goofy grin and turning to Sirius and smiled.
"Right yeah... Nifty bag of doom..." Kathryn uttered, fishing threw in overloaded bag and finding a rather large spring and pulled it out.
"Hey! I remember this! I used to fling scraps of parchment out the window with this!" Kathryn exclaimed gazing reminiscently at the spring before regretfully handing it over to Sirius. "Hope that'll do..."

"Brilliant!" Sirius exclaimed taking the spring. He took out his wand and blinked.
"Crud...oh! Wait! No, I remember it! Harry, this should hopefully work for your vision..." he said pointing his wand at the spring and muttering the spell. It changed into glasses and he handed them to the boy.
"Try them on, tell me how they feel, and how well you can see."

Accepting the transfigured glasses, Harry slipped them on and looked around carefully. "Well," he nodded. "They'll work. I mean, its not perfect, but neither are my old glasses. Wish I was as good at Transfigurations."
He looked over at Kathryn and grinned. "Thanks for the spring."
(I am much tired. I go to sleep now)

Kathryn watched as Sirius morphed the once rusty spring into a perfectly flawless pair of glasses, which was a pretty interesting feat. Placing her hand into her pocket (which covered her hands and mid-forearm entirely) she watched as Sirius transferred the glasses to Harry and he tried them on. It framed his pretty-looking green eyes spectacularly. Kathryn wasn't the best in transfigurations but she knew the gist of most things.
"Thanks for the spring." Harry said grinning at Kathryn. Returning the smile she wiped her hands on the inside of her pocket and took her hand from its depths and held it out for a handshake.
"No worries mate... I never actually introduced myself did I?" Kathryn said trying to sound polite. "I'm Kathryn Theree... But I already know your name" She added with a goofy smile.

Harry took her hand and shook it, nodding. "Kathryn Theree, good to meet you," he said repeating her name so he could better commit it to memory. "I guess you already know me. I'm Harry."
He looked at Sirius. "So, am I replacing Prof-Remus in this scavenger hunt?" he asked. "Without the makeout bits, no offense Sirius," he said with a grin which immediately turned into a frowned. "I don't understand how you're still alive, you know. I-I mean, I saw you fall through the veil. What happened?"

Sirius laughed and nodded.
"Basically Harry. We can only have four people per group, and Remus' shoulder is in danger of imploding because of a stupid centaur arrow. Though he says shoulders can't implode. I don't believe it though." Sirius stopped and turned.
"Wait...Accio Bird Woman!" he said pointing his wand towards Liz. He glanced at Kathryn.
"You make her float and follow this time. I don't need another repeat," he said before he continued on.
"I don't understand how you're still alive, you know. I-I mean, I saw you fall through the veil. What happened?" Sirius went quiet and looked away.
"I...I...I'm not sure exactly. And I'd rather not talk about it right now," he whispered, ending the conversation before it could really begin. The Forbidden Forest was the last place where he wanted to relive death. Then again, it didn't matter where he was going to be, he just didn't want to even think about it. He shook his head and pulled out the list, forcing a large smiled on his face.
"C'mon guys! It's near 11ish I think! We need to get working! Let's see what we've got here, a Bone, a Glass of pure water from a natural spring, a Hair from a Unicorn Tail, part of a Spiders Web, a Thestral, and a Wolfsbane Plant. What do we want to go after first?"

Releasing Harrys hand she stowed her own away into her pockets. Gliding along the forest floor after the two older males she hummed to herself.
"Without the makeout bits, no offense Sirius" Harry said. Kathryns lip twitched with a smirk as Sirius explained the rules of the groupings. The conversation soon turned to Sirius's death, in which Kathryn, like Sirius, didn't really like to talk about. The whole aspect of returning from the dead sounded creepy but in some strange way, incredibly interesting.
"You make her float and follow this time. I don't need another repeat," Sirius ordered Kathryn. She pulled out her wand and flicked it at Liz who after 2 tries, finally hovered above and, holding her wand like a conductors baton, tried to make her body not collide with any over-hanging branches. Once that was all sorted Kathryn peered over Sirius's shoulder at the list.
"Well we could either go for the hard ones now and get it over with, or do the easy tasks. However I reckon that we should get that Unicorn Hair thingy-ma-jig last" Kathryn said, analysing the probability of finding a hair of a Unicorn, let alone the full Unicorn.

Sirius shrugged.
"Alright, Unicorn last. Now Moony said there was a stream near the Acromantulas, so let's get the water first, and then go and get the web. I'd suggest grabbing a bone from around there as well, but only if we're really lucky, otherwise I can go off and get one some where else. The plant, we'll just have to keep our eyes open for, same for the Threstrals. Unless Bird Brains wakes up and we can send the bird to go scout some stuff for us, maybe it can get the Unicorn hair or the plant, or at least tell us where we can find ourselves a Threstral," Sirius suggested before looking forward, and then at the two teens next to him.
"Any objections?"
