Wokovu blinked looking up at Sarabi, his silver eyes staring up at her in some sort of awe. He grinned at her, she seemed alot nicer now.. "Yes!" he almost jumped with teh answere, before pausing to look at Jasiri leaning twards her with a hushed voice "..Whats a zee-bra?" he didn't take his eyes of sarabi though.. he was all too interested in other lions to look away.
Yakuti tortted up next to Wokovu, frowning at him with a sterm motherly look "Mind your manners, Wokovu." she scolded, then turning to Sarabi with a gulp and taking a few steps backwards.
Wokovu sighed, slouching a bit as if all the energy had been suddenlly sucked out of him "Yes, thank you." he repeated his answere tot he question, rolling his eyes.

She nodded understandingly, "Of course. Get plenty of rest, so you'll be ready for tomorrow. After a rain the grass will be lush and the animals swarming to the watering holes. It will be a good time to hunt, and plenty of exercise too." She smiled to him, the compliment not going unnoticed, "You are too kind young lion, but I must leave you now, there are other things for me to attend to." With the she bowed her release and started not towards the den, but away, towards the path that the King had taken only a few minutes before. Could she seek an audience with her brother?

((Hmm... I'm not certain yet if I'll have to.. but I might end up having to go out of state for a funeral in the next few days. If I do I'll leave a message, I hope not though.

-Mufasa chuckled lightly at the apperance of the familar cub, slowing gently in his large steps so she could keep up more easily.- "Evening Taku. Enjoying the excitment of the night?"
-He looked to her with true curiousity as he asked. He remembered many things from his youth and many of them actually shaped how he felt today. How strange had the new apperance seemed to the young? Or maybe it hadn't seemed strange at all... most young were exceptionally forgiving and welcoming, something he could only wish more adults contained.-

Taku smiled and nodded up at him softly, sitting next to him as her tail wrapped around her paws as she spoke to him.
"Yeah all these new cub's n'all, it'll be nice to have more people to play with!"
A wamr smile placed itself on her small muzzle as she looked up at Mufasa's huge form.

"I can imagine. Back when I was little I had a brother that I played with the most.. but I always enjoyed stirring up a little fun with some of the other cubs too." -It was a bittersweet memory, but he forced a soft smile anyway.-

Taku smiled up at him and then watched the soft smile apear on his muzzle, she then looked down slightly, her ear's flattening as she remembered her family.
"I used to have a brother..." She paused for a second or two, letting go of her usualy cheery attitude before she shook her head again and looked back up at Mufasa.

-Nodding gently, he let his own tail, flick lightly over to half wrap around the cub.- "Me too.."
-It was close enough to the truth. Standing again, he gave another soft smile before motioning forward.- "Of course have a pride full of friends tends to make it better. Or atleast, keeps me happy. Good friends can make the most wonderful 'family'."

((Sorry for not being around guys....I was outta town for the past week! heart ))
Athari appeared from nowhere, padding silently up to stand beside Mufasa, his head bowed sligtly. "Thank you again for inviting me here to your home" he said politely, probably sending everyone who heard him into an apoplectic fit because of said courtesy. "But, I think it's time for me to move on...a lion pride's den is no place for one of my kind..." he finished, pawing at the ground nervously, his eyes darting back and forth.

Taku's eye's suddenly widened and she stood up on all four's, looking at the leapord cub as if he had just said something the completley opposite of how he acted, and that he acted rude, what was he thinking, how could he leave.
"What!...but...but why?" Her green kitsune eye's loked at Atahri as she stood next to the huge paw of the King.

[; n; I'm back guys! Just got in! Sorry I was gone so long sad I have a little excuse for Teule n' Taka though n.n]
Taka has paused before she followed after the lion, fox and cubs, Teule instantly feeling the distance between him and his mother. Skidding to a halt, the cub trotted back over to his mother curiously. He plopped down onto the soft green grass following his mother’s now steely gaze that seemed to weigh him down. It was her hunting look, when her eyes would fix on a target, unmoving and unwavering. Lunch would probably be good for their little crowd right bout now. His tail waved to and fro, taking up the same eager posture as his mom. She knew he knew what they were to do. First they’d go watch the herds of gazelle for awhile, observing and finding the weakest of the herd. Then they’d go after them in a frenzied sprint. Teule would chase after Taka since he wasn’t nearly as swift and help bring the unsuspecting gazelle down once Taka has a firm bite.
As they waited, they found their prey, an unwary old gazelle, nearly past its prime. In a flash, Taka was running it down, her nimble frame soaring over the plain, Teule a good distance behind though moving steady. The gazelle was faster than he looked, his legs unfurling to their fool length as the fear of death entered its mind. Unfortunately for him, Taka was just as fast and sprang up, her paws jutting out to knock the gazelle’s legs out from under it. The gazelle was lifeless in seconds as Teule did the honors of giving the fatal bite to its neck. Filled with adrenaline, the two pranced about around their catch briefly before starting to drag it back their pride.
Raspy laughs sounded around them, Taka finally realizing where the gazelle had run; just shy of the Elephant Graveyard. Warily, Taka’s eye darted around, Teule growling and scooting closer to the cheetah. Growling, eyes began to flash around them, the laughs growing louder. Bitterly, Taka realized what the smart thing to do was now that packs of hyena were on them. Her voice low, she mumbled sharply to Teule.
“Run.”
Heeding his mother’s words, Teule dashed away, the hyenas quickly leaping upon the fresh kill. Teule grumbled angerly about the rotten animals that stole their food whilst Taka caught the scent of Yaku, the cubs and Mwali. Both began trotting towards their pride, the blood of the gazelle on their mouth but not in their bellies. ‘Ahh, Teule first lesson is defeat..’ though Taka, a sour smirk on her face as she caught sight of her friends.

"I want.. to leave?" -The look on his face was soft surprise, but after a moment he gave a nod.- "If you don't feel comfortable here, or simply want to move on there isn't anything I can do to stop you. Simply be carefully, and if things ever get rough, know you're welcome here."

Manata He crept from the grass and barked once. He felt he should run, but he didn't. He slowly walked up the ramp and to the ledge of pride rock. He glanced around and thgen barked very loudly.

 Sarabi smiled softly and lifted a large paw, waving idly in the direction of the caracuss. "A zebra in a creature with hooves that eats grass. It has black and white stripes. The meat is very good, and you can have as much as you like." She paused for a bit, the continued. "My name is Sarabi, and this is my son, Simba. I'm sure you've already met him and Nala." She sat back and tilted her head to the side, watching the cubs.

 Koho's amber eyes spotted her brother quickly, though the forms near him also met her. With a sigh, her tail flicked, chasing her heels as she turned about and headed back towards the den. She climbed swiftly to the top of Pride rock, but before going in she looked out, smiling peacefully to herself as she looked over all her home in the dying light. Amber and gold shadows danced across the land as the sun lay heavily on the horizon, like a fruit of paradise that she would never in her life experience. She shook her head, her pupils widening back to comfortable size as she turned into the den, greeting Sarabi with a warm purr.
