Shinzu was listen to the Mizukage intently, grinning at his comment towards the Hoshigaki. Shinzu had to agree, they could be tough to deal with, but such was their clan. Then Masaraku burst into the room, adding nothing to the reputation of her clan. Shinzu sighed and faced Batsu as she left. "You know we have to, right? She is our teamate."

Batsu listened at the Mizukage and he was fine with everything.that was said. Hell, even being made leader wasn't an issue. Masaraku joining the mission... now that was a horse of a different color . He and Masaraku were detriments to each other. So, in order for the mission to work, something had to be done.
Personally, Batsu was getting sick of the fighting and had to find a way to get the three to come before the chuunin exams came and everything was shot to hell. Then it hit him... hit everyone where it hurt. The boy looked over at Shinzu and sighed before he looked over at the mizukage.
"Mizukage-sama, with all due respect, as leader of the mission I have one request. If any issues erupt from within the squad then I, Batsu Watanabe, wish to withdraw from the team."

Shinzu stood and watched his teammate for a moment, sighing he walked over to Batsu. "If we are not able to keep our team together, then we don't deserve to even be ninja, come on." He said as he half grabbed Bstsu's shoulder. "You go to the main village to look for her, I'll start in the Grove, okay?" He knew the Grove would be the most likely place for her to hide, and having Batsu along, might serve only to worsen the situation.

Taka remained sitting as the men from the Umi Clan entered office. His Hawks stared them down, not to mention Taka's own stare, which could've easily pierced a block of steel. Needless to say he did not want to see these men, and refused to show more then to most minute amount of respect. After all they had ransacked his village, causing much damage, though luckily few lives were lost. "Why have you come here? You're lucky that I do not consider us at war." Taka asked with a deadly serious tone, though he did not that the one who seemed to be a leader was unarmed.With a motion of his hand the men removed thier axes, which caused Taka to tense in preparation of an attack, whilst his hawks squawk and prepared thier own attacks. Then, amazingly, both men fell to thier knees and laid thier axes on the ground before Taka. A few moments later thier leader followed suit. "You have bested our leader, my father, in one on one combat, by our oldest traditions we swear our loyalty to you." Needless to say Taka was not expecting this, in fact his eyes widened as all threemen bowed before him and then swore thier loyalty. Ever since his days in the ANBU Taka had regarded msot everyone with suspicious eye, and no less now. A Clan that specialized in battle swearing thier loyalty just like that? It was just so weird, the Hoshigaki were reigned in by being allowed to keep a hold of and otherwise worship the Samehada, and the Kaguya had to be nearly completely wiped from existance before they gave in. However these men were different, Taka had noticed it in his battle with thier Leader, correction previous leader. They put a high price on honor... "So it shall be..." He said as he slowly stood up and pulled out a Kunai, and threw it so as to land jsut in front of the Umi leader. "Take that as a token of our new friendship. I have no wish to have a Clan serve me, but would rather you serve the Village Hidden in the Mist, even long after I am gone. Do you Understand." Taka said, and the new leader swiftly nodded, and announced that the Umi would never go back on their word, so long as he, his children, and his Children's Children lead the clan. Thus the Umi came to be a part of the Hidden Mist, prepared to serve as shock and amphibious troops.

 Toshi / Lunar Lv.: 6---- /---- 5 Hp: 54/54---- /---- 45/45 Cp: 102/102---- /---- 20/20 MHp: 60/60---- /---- 30/30 Toshi walked into the dense forest. It had an eerie feel about it but he was truly amazing and starry eyes about how long the trees seemed to be there. They seemed ancient to him, as if he had just walked into the past when everything was more simple, kind of like how his village was today. The sudden though distracted him enough to cause an angry hiss before a sudden thump. He fell onto his backside and stared up at the thing in front of him, rubbing his nose slightly. "Lunar was that yo-..." His sentence dropped off as he saw the entrance to the building. He seemed to have walked into the door frame like an idiot.
Lunar looked at him with much the same expression and even went as far as telling him so. "You're such an idiot some times Toshi. Just wait till you find beauty in a woman... Then you'll be in trouble." Lunar meow at him. He could understand her after all their bonding but he still didn't like being taught advice by a feline. "Yeah yeah I know Luna now do you want to ride or not?" He asked his feline companion. She did what he supposed was a feline version of either a laugh of a scoff, of which she followed up with more meowing. "And have you run me nearly into a wall again... No thanks. I'll take my chances down here."
He shrugged and continued inside. He marveled at how perfect the black marble floor was. He could barely see Lunar at all so he jumped when she entered the elevator behind him. A quick burst of air circled him and ruffled his hair softly before it vanished once more. He waited for the right floor before stepping off into a long hallway. The door closed behind him nearly snagging Lunar's tail. Toshi wondered too much about what it would be like at night than to pay attention to Lunar's brief growl. When he got to the door of the Kage's office he froze. It wasn't anything like the first time he went to his cousin's office. This time it had a very more stern feeling of formality and duty. He hesitantly knocked and waited for a response. Lunar waited patiently with him, sitting in front him and the door, as if to say she was higher up in the pecking order than him.

"You may enter." Someone said from the other side of the door, in a mildly authoritative voice. Inside of his office sat the Mizukage, commonly called Taka, his desk was covered in scrolls, though it definitely looked cleaner then one would expect of a Kage. Behind him where four bird stands, eaching baring a hawk of increasing size, and evidently, age. On one end stood a young hawk, that one would guess could fly for miles, down to an old, scared hawk that seemed to have seen many battles. "And who, are you?" Taka asked with a raised eyebrow as he gestured for the young boy to come in. The boy appeared to be somekind of ninja, of Oto based on his headband. "Ah, you're one of the exchange students aren't you? You're the first to arrive actually."

Toshi / Lunar Lv.: 6---- /---- 5 Hp: 54/54---- /---- 45/45 Cp: 102/102---- /---- 20/20 MHp: 60/60---- /---- 30/30 Lunar was the first to the first to react to the voice inside. She looked up at Toshi, meowing at him. "Come on Toshi. . . Don't keep the Kage waiting, it's rude." He nodded to Lunar and opened the door. Lunar immediately took point and walked into the room with her self importance. Toshi sighed as he followed behind her. He looked at the man behind the desk. He didn't know what to think of him because he had didn't really know anything about him or even rumors. Lunar sat next to where Toshi stood and looked at the hawks. She thought about what it would taste to snag one of the but when she looked at the scarred one... Well let's just say she lost all notion of trying to get one to eat. She occupied herself by licking and cleaning her paws and face.
When he heard the Kage ask who he was, he startled and felt even more like an idiot. He sent a quick look to Lunar as if to say to her to keep her mouth shut, to which she just kept grooming herself. He grabbed the paper he had come with and bowed low. He held out the paper for the Kage to grab as remained bent over in the bowing gesture. "My name is Toshi Okazai, from the Okazai clan, and yes I am an exchange student from Otogakure. This... Feline... Beside me is my companion. Her name is Lunar. As for why I am here first that can be explained by..." He was really uncomfortable with all the formality and it was starting to make him lightheaded from how nervous he was. "I'm early because my ship made really good time because of some... favorable wind." A slight smile appeared on his face. Lunar pawed at Toshi's leg in an attempt to help keep him calm. Still bent over Toshi smiled down at Lunar, knowing what she was doing and mouthed the words "Thank you" to her. She purred from the praise.

Taka took the letter with a mild aggression, as he looked the young ninja up and down. Checking the letter he read it over, and noted the official seals, so it wasn't a fake at least. "Well then... Everything appears to be in order." He said with amused smirk as he noted the boy's uneasy demeaner. "Welcome to the Village Hidden in the Mist. Enjoy your stay, but be careful not to wonder into any areas restricted to you." He said as he pulled a map out from one of his many drawers. "The areas in red you are not allowed to enter, you don't want to face the consequences." He said, in a completely serious tone. "Oh, and one last thing before you go, be careful if you go into the grove, it is a wild place where are ninja train, it is not for the faint of heart." He said as he sat back down.

Toshi / Lunar Lv.: 6---- /---- 5 Hp: 54/54---- /---- 45/45 Cp: 82/102---- /---- 20/20 MHp: 60/60---- /---- 30/30 Toshi straightened once the Kage had taken the letter, wincing slightly from the way it was taken. He took a deep breath once more and was more calm. When the Kage spoke Toshi sighed in relief. He didn't know what to expect but the hidden mist village had a scary history in the past and he didn't know how much that had affected the current Village but he was grateful that it didn't seem that was the case. He smiled after the Kage had welcomed him. "Thank you Mizukage. I will DEFINITELY enjoy my stay." He bowed before straightening once more. "This island is very beautiful from what I've seen so far." He took a step closer to look at the map better, as Lunar jumped up to his shoulder and took note of the areas she shouldn't wonder around either.
When the Kage started talking about the grove one of Toshi's eyebrows rose. He had heard rumors of a wilderness near the village when he was on the ship. He had actually really been looking forward to visiting. He smirked at the last part of the Kage's words, a warning. He felt a good portion of his chakra slip into the air around him as he straightened. A swift wind started to form and surrounded him, like a column of wind, for few seconds before dissipating. "I can't wait to see it." He bowed once more before speaking again. "Thank you for the welcome and for allowing me to partake in this exchange." He waited a few more moments before he bowed again. Lunar likewise, bowed her head to the Kage. He turned on his heels and left, quietly closing the door behind him. He quickly made his way to the bottom floor and out of the building. He couldn't help but stop outside and look around at the beautiful almost eerie forest that surround the kage's building. He continued on the path and headed back to the village.
