This thread reminds me why I normally stay out of the Chatterbox.
I mean after all there must be a cut off age for belonging to Gaia...oh you know...30.
Nevermind the fact the guy who runs the place is in his 30s. *shakes head* I didn't even make it through the first page. If there was an age limit I'd think they would put it in the ToS. But that's just me. lizzmeyer3, I'm sorry to hear about you grandma. That's really not nice. Lilly is family and should at least try and see her every once in a while (like it or not). I personally think that Lilly would need that interaction, but depending on how negitive your grandma acting it may be better off if she doesn't see her. I've heard of grandmas who tell the child they "were a mistake and never should have been born" (personally I'd rip my grandma a new one if she ever did something like that xd ). So just depending on the situation it may be better to bring Lilly around family who wont be negitive to/around her. About 9/11. I could so beat people over the head with large heavy cast-iron pans for things they say. My aunt worked in the office the first plane went through, thank God she had a HUGE craving for starbucks (that was two blocks north)! I don't agree with the proifteering(sp?) of the movies, coffee mugs, hats and so on. Like I believe Loki said it's one thing if the profits were going to the victims familys, but they're not (I'm pretty sure about that). My own little rant. whee Last night around 10:45 or so, our upstaris neighbors started stomping/banging/slamming stuff against the floor. Mind you Nickki goes to bed at 10:00 and lately has been real easy to startle awake. Thank God she didn't, but they have woken her up from more naps than I care to count. I wanted to go up there and tell them everyone in this complex signs a "good neighbor" form that states "No loud noises after 10pm" and bang their head into something hard. Hubby said, "why waste your time, go report them to the office. If they get mutipule(sp?) reports form several people, they will more than likely be told to move elsewhere." So on my to-do list today is to go up to the office with a list for the service crew, report our neighbors, and clean the apartment. Sound fun? xd Ahhh I feel better now that is out of my system.

It says smoke free but I want to see if that means ALL the rooms??" obnoxious hotels.com caller #2 Do you guys have a book of all the hotels you service in the United states? No? *click* Do you know how big that book would be? Holy smokes! eek

I'm am so f****** tired of th damn legal system. Does it helop the vicitms of a crime? No! All it fricking does is proterct the perpetrator! Makes it so he can see his son, doesn't matter that he neglects him. Makes it so the prot4ective order gets dropped; why? Because I don't any fricking proof of sexual abnuse other the fact that it happened! DCFS won't fricking do anything about him seeing his son because I don't have enough rpoof about the fact that he looks at child porn! Why? Because its merely a concern?! A CONCERN?!?!?! I'm the one who fricking found the images on our computer because the b*****d thgouht he couled hide them from me!!!!!! But its aqll just a f****** concern!!!!

Legal system should protect the child. How old is the child you are protecting? If it's the baby.. difficult, I know, but if the child is older then you have better grounds to protect the child.
Does the child have any fear of the father? You could file for a separation and ask for sole custody and that all his visits with the child/children be supervised...

I'm sorry I'm not soft and fluffy enough for the world, I have obviously never had heart ache or experienced anything which is why I have the luxury of being the way I am.
I'm really sick of people not noticing what I do right and what is positive and always focusing on how MEAN I am. Because the other stuff obviously isn't worth mentioning.

I'm tired of this girl that USED to be my friend!
She's always thought she was this 'Pretty, Pretty Princess' and men were useless, but jesus! Her mom was a fantastic single mom and tried to teach her that men weren't NECESSARY, not that they were slaves and expendable!
And being pregnant is NO excuse to suddenly get really greedy, go into debt, and start being the most selfish b***h I know.
Oh, and telling your husband (who's one of my BEST friends) that I'm not that smart, that I shouldn't talk to Mormons because I have no interest in religion, that you're pissed at me because I never agree with you, and that I treat you like an experiment? ALL bad moves, because your husband told me, and he likes ME better than he likes YOU! If you were an experiment to me, you'd be doing sommersaults.
Telling your husband to take YOU out on HIS birthday so you can wear this new maternity dress because you "look so cute in it" is so selfish and rude it's not even funny. And sadly, I know you weren't kidding.
We've got this nice, mental checklist of all these things we've given you credit for in the past... being insightful, intelligent, etc... and you're FORCEFULLY making us uncheck all the way down the list. Way to burn bridges and make everyone want to beat you.

I've decided that all in all I've had a very poor taste in real life friends. A taste that has been ongoing fgor a good ten years and I've just realized this.
My best friend here in Utah got very drunk a few weeks ago and confessed to me that she had an affair with my ex-husband before and during my marriage. Then she proceeded to have an affair with my other friend's husband while we were all sleeping in the same tent. In which said friend has said "I don't care" and allowed said best riend to move in with her and her husband.
Because of said stupidity of said friend and said best friend, I'm bieng told I am nothing more than a lying b***h who has nothing more to do with her pitiful and bitter life than to ruin it for others.
I'm sorry if I'm, more than a little offended that someone I thought I could trust was sleeping with the man I was married to!!!!!

I know the feeling of having bad taste in real life friends. Until I was married, I didn't have a single friend that didn't stab me in the back or try to use me for something. Now that Eric and I are very picky about the people we associate with, we're very cautious about things like that. *shrug* My rant to contribute: My husband, Eric, is a native of Argentina. His native tounge is Spanish, but he speaks English very fluently. He's also a citizen of the US, like I am. I was born here. His parents are also from different nations. Now it's very noticable that I'm pregnant right now, so... when out in a resturant and he talks Spanish to a bust boy to encourage him and tell him that things will get better. Eric is so very friendly and optimistic to everyone, if he can be. biggrin So after the bust boy leaves a nearby table, an American white guy wanders over and accuses me, a white American citizen, of helping the Mexican invasion of our country! I responded with "He's from Argentina, you ******** he just rolled his eyes at me and says, "All those Spanish speakin' people are the same, tryin' to take advantage of our system, stealin' our jobs! And you, helping them! Couldn't keep your legs closed, could you?! What's the use of our boys fightin' to keep you safe if you won't do what's right for yourself?!" I was upset as hell. Eric and I are both American citizens and while I can't work right now, my husband is pulling so many hours work a week to make up for it. Not only that, but my dad and mom both were in the service when I was a kid and "my" government cuts funding from the VA medical services that they NEED to SURVIVE!! Eric pulled the guy outside after that. And punched him in the face. Saw it through the window. He came back muttering things under his breath like "No one insults my wife." The experience was shocking, but uplifting... strangely. STUPID RACIST PEOPLE. That pisses me off.

I lied in court for my husband so that he wouldnt go to jail for 17 years and then when i visiting my mothers house he basically calls me to tell me to ******** off and that he was only being nice to me so that i can get him out of going to jail....
Now he is only getting 3 years probation... and me and my daughter arent safe because he is flying off the handle again.
ARRRRGGG
Not to mention his new girlfriend is ticking me off!!!!!
