Remus followed Lina as he had on so many occasions previous. As they approached the tomb he spoke up. "Has the time come? My sense of time doesn't seem quite right after that book." He looked at her nervously.

"No, not yet." Lina replied, looking up at the moon before it disappeared, "The moon will become as red as blood when the time is right..." she then stopped, looking at Remus seriously, "What did you see? What secrets did the book unfold?"

Try as he might Remus could not meet Lina's gaze. "I... I saw many things... Some wonderful... some terrible. I mostly saw images from Lotan himself. The hunting was plentiful back then and all the races prospered. I saw this city in it's prime. Then... I saw it come crashing down... It would seem Lotan watched through different means, I've no idea how." He shook a little. "I saw the first violence between vampires and lycans... slaughter of innocents on both sides..."

Rikku changed back into her wolf form and wandered through the forest looking for someone or something to fight to pass time

Lina had to lean against the nearest tree as she listened, the images of the city at its peak and then the inevitable fall came back to her, "Yes...he had many sources and many more who knew the spirit world far better than he did that would have done what he wished." she managed to walk over to him and place a hand on his shoulder, "I know how must feel right now, but you must be strong. For both our sakes...and the world."

Remus shook not from rage, but rather from fear and revulsion at the slaughter. Lotan had known his reasons, and shown him this to give him focus and motivation. Still, it didn't make it any easier. He nodded to Lina, knowing she was right and slowly quelled his fear. He was finally able to meet her eyes again. "Forgive me. I did not expect what I saw and it troubled me greatly. Thank you for calling me back out of it."

Lina smiled weakly before walking near the entrance of Lotan's tomb, "He was never one to do anything lightly. And for that I apologize for him." she turned around as looked at Remus, "Which is why I am glad the rest of my members have acquired most of what will be needed for when Lotan awakes." she meant the 'sacrifices' that were solely from this city. It was very sad that there were so many living here. She was sur ethey would be none when the rest of the Leaders were awakened.

Rikku finally turned around and headed back to where Remus and Lina were.
Slowly apoaching the two Rikku changed back into her form and waited for them to notice her standing there

Remus caught the sadness in her voice. He walked up next to her and laid his own hand on her shoulder. "You picked a very hard line of work, but your a very strong woman and I know that you will succeed in the task laid before you."
