Miangel Yikes. >.< I can understand missing Ab MAYBE, like if you forgot to read the key signature or something... but missing A natural? o.O;; How does THAT work? We have about 18 flutes TOTAL between the two classes, but ten are in the other class. Only having eight now is VERY nice. ^^ Though half the section still sucks. >> I hate it when people miss easy stuff like that. Even the BD's are like 'Maybe it's a misprint' because it's like, How can you miss something like that?! For both our bands, I'd say we have around 30 flutes.

For both our bands, I'd say we have around 30 flutes. O.O Thirty flutes? I'd kill myself. XD How big is your band? We're right around 65 people total... so 18 people is like 30-ish percent of the band. >>

Like this one time I played an E natrual instead of an Eb, which is really really odd because we weren't even playing any (there might have been like 1 out of 9) song with E naturals.

Alrighty... lemme count... let's see... grade tens have... I'd say... ten flutes. My grade eleven class has... five flutes. So far that's 15. Um... then in grade twelve I'd say there's... also ten. So 20 flutes in senior band.

RinoaHeartilly Karu_Chan I get to spend Saturday Feb 12, marching a mile and a half in Wikkenburg's Gold Rush Day parade crying Since i'm a flute, I am at the front, and if i mess up the whole row behind me messes up. sweatdrop I've had to march in a 3 mile parade around the neighborhood, IN THE RAIN. It sucked so much, since we also had to wear our parkas which don't smell too good, and they made us get all hot and sweaty whee By the time we were done my shoulder was killing me. I am sorry to hear that sad that must have sucked, we have to March in 100 degree weather, DAMN ARIZONA!!!! scream

Oooh I wanted to come and post in there last night, but I didn't get back until late. Anyway I played in this band festival concert thingy last night (it was all of my highschools feeder schools, well my soon-to-be hightschool) and so yeah. It was so awsome! Everyone played really well (well the 6th graders almost had to start over on one song because they fell apart, but they got it back together) and wow. Listening to the highschoolers play was just so amazing. Plus I can't wait until I have Mr. Simpson as a BD, he was hilarious smile He said to the parents of the middle schoolers and the elementary schoolers that if there was anything legal he could do to keep their kids in the band prgram, call him and he'd do it razz

The BD told us how many people we had before... xd It was either 126, or 129. that's just the whole band rite? well i got about 25 bands in my section and we have even more people in the whole thing. i think about 130 or something. do you know how freaked up it is to squish about 130 people with some people holding HUGE intruments (like tuba or sausophone) into a small normal classroom???? xp stressed god i'm so squished in there. and with all the guys in there it stinks like hell.. well yea go california! nice weather!

We've got about 130 people too, but we separate them into two bands, symphonic and varsity. Then there's also Jazz Band.

I never realized we had so many floutists in my band xd Hehe yeah, my band only has 8 flutes (or is it 7...) then again the band in general isn't that big. We only have 1 trombone!
