こんばんわ、ミカさん。僕はブライアンです。日本語の学生ですが、日本語が下手です。

Konbanwa, Mika-san. Boku wa Buraian (Brian) desu. Nihongo no gakusei desu ga, Nihongo ga heta desu.

Hey, Mika. I'm Brian...I'm a Japanese language student, but my Japanese isn't very good...

Anyways, let me correct you on some things here.

First of all, it's pronouned KonnichiWA, not Konnichiha, and it's written as
こんいちわ, not こんいちは, since the wa in Konnichiwa is not a particle. Also, it should be Watashi WA, not Watashi Ha. Although it is WRITTEN in hiragana with a Ha, it is pronounced as Wa.

Yes I know, it's pronounced 'KonnichiWA' (And I even pronounce it 'WA' when speaking) but when me and my Japanese friends talk online we go with the 'HA' spelling of it. Sorry, old habits die hard. XP
And I am also very sure that it is こんいちは when spelling it. Same with 今晩は for Good evening.

Nope, the は wa is for particles ONLY. In ANY other context it is written as わ.

I believe Mika-san is right Brian-san. I've also learned it as こんにちは not こんにちわ. If you use the converter on language bar, it doesn't recognize こんにちわ but it does convert 今日は. I'm pretty sure in the dictionary it's like that as well

Hmm ok, I'll look into that.

And by the way, romanizing the partcle は as Ha is kind of a bad habit, even though you know it's pronounced as Wa.

Edit: Yeah I'm sorry, you were right.

((It's spelled ほんとう, not ほんと。^^ And I think とても would probably be a better word...I think hontou is kind of out of context. It's used like if someone tells you something interesting, and you go, "Really!?")
