"got it" dairus said and picked kidd up and ran to the hummer. he was quite suprised to see that kidd wasnt frezeing his arms, but he was more worried about kidd. he laid her down on a seat an squated on the floor so he wouldn't hog the front seat as becky and jean came to the hummer. As soon as every one was in the hummer they speed off for the x-mansion. 'i hope we can help her.....i deffintly want to take her to the dance........'

Looking back at Lance she snorted in a very unlady like way. "You know what hun, you need to loosen up some. I was just joking around with you. Stop moping so much, take a seat and have another beer." She patted the ground next to her then looked over at Valerie. "Naw he mopes a little to much, no offense Lance but you do. Lets see what the other males around here are like. There's Toad, cute and looks like he would be willing to have some fun but a wee bit submissive...then...well I don't really know anything about the other guys and I won't even bother with Pietro...he's to..hyperactive. Reminds me of a five year old who got hold of a two liter of Red Bull." She said with a laugh.
"Yeah. All the clubs are open now and I think theres one having an all ages party. I'm sure Scott won't mind us taking that sweet little red convertable of his for a few hours." Aaron said with a wicked grin. Glancing at the others he asked. "Y'all in?"

Kidd felt the power in her starting to ebb. venting her powers was having some effect. then all of a sudden Jean Gray, the teacher at the school was their and Kidd felt all fuzzy. she floated to the surface of the water, and felt Darius's arms scoop her up. He whisked her away in a car of some kind. Kidd vision was blurring. her head was spinning.
"Darius, are.. are you ok? I'm really sorry... about... about the snow and cold...." she rested her head against the door and fell into a quite daze. her eyes were still open, she could see shapes, but the lights were off in her head.

OOC: Be careful guys, that was a pixel away from GodModding. A big no-no. I'll let it slide this one time. "Ok," said Jean, concentrating hard to keep the shield up as she jumped back into the driver's seat. Seeing as everyone, including Kidd was safely in, the red-head stepped on the gas and speed off back toward the X-mansion. Time seemed to speed forward, as before they knew it, they were coming up on the X-mansion's long, lingering drive-way once again. "Darius," said Jean, slamming on the breaks as they reached the front entrance, "take Kidd down to the infirmary, Beast should already be there, meanwhile, I'll get Professor Xavier." ================================== Lance raised his eyebrows at Zion. What? He thought. Did she just tell me to loosen up? Sure, maybe she had been right in saying that, but it couldn't help it most times, it was programmed into his personality. Much like Toad's inability to swim or Pietro's need to go fast or Scott Summer's need to be an uptight pain in the rear. The male shivered inwardly, no way in hell he was going to let himself become a Scott Summers.
"Sure, I'll loosen up," scoffed Lance, trying to agree with what Zion while maintaining his masculinity and reputation. Walking back over the the cooler, he grabbed another beer and then walked away from the group of giggling girls. ================================== Victoria nodded happily as Kevin and the Pizza-boy accepted her invitation. Her already wide smile broaden as the later boy mentioned that the some of the local clubs were having an all-ages party. To be honest, she didn't even think Bayville would be the kind of town to have a club, considering how mundane and 'blah' of a reputation it seemed to have.
"Sounds like a plan, clubbing and ice-cream, sounds like the perfect night on the town. Are you three in or not?" she asked, pointing to Morgan, Narcissa and Raze in turn. Carlos, had already declined, something about wanting to get a good nights sleep, and she wanted know if anyone else wanted to stay up and join in on the fun.

"im fine, just worry about youself, you doing your best" darius told kidd trying to reasure her even though he was worried for her.

"ok" he said picking up kidd and quickly made his way down to the imfermariy with makeing only one wrong turn. he knocked with his foot a little too hard. almost at once beast open the door and seeing the urgentcy in dairus face he quickly led them to a table to set kidd on

Kidd's eyes stayed half opend. she was in a trance. she saw the walls of the instatue bler by her and the famillar smeel othe infermery, where she was not few hours ago, filled her nose. she couldn't move. she felt Darius and the doctor place her on a table, she heard mermering, somthing about 'the evolution of her powers' being out of control. it was all backround noise. she was forcoused on the strang sensation tingalling in her finger tips....
((i so didn't think that was god modding, but i'm no mod so i wouldn't know. sweatdrop btw could someone eles play beast i'm no good at it))

Lifting an eyebrow she watched the younger male walk away. She wasn't going to push the issue of him sitting down and hanging out with her and Valerie so she let him go without saying anything and turned her attention back to the pool. Half the water was gone and Toad was still standing there. "Hey, when you're ready to come out I got some soda in the cooler here since you obviously dislike the taste of alchohol." Zion said with a warm smile and patting the cooler that sat behind her and Valerie.
"I dunno 'bout y'all but I'm going to go change quickly." He said and went out of the room. When he came back in twenty minutes later he was wearing a pair of black jeans, a nice pair of white and black adidas sneakers and a black silk button down shirt that had a tribalistic design on white on the edges of the bottom and sleeves with a black wife beater under it. His wings were holstered to his back and no buldge showed through the shirt. "I hate this friggin thing. Feels like I have to wear a bra and I don't even have boobs, no offense." He said the last part to the females in the room.

"I'm in," Raze said, replacing the harness, and putting his shirt back on. He didn't really feel like changing right now, but since Aaron brought it up, he figured it would probably be a good idea. Shortly after his winged comrade left, Raze followed suit, and emerged in the outfit that he'd worn on the day he'd arrived at the institute. Black cargo pants, a black button-down short-sleeve, a long-sleeved white shirt underneath for the layered look, black dress sneakers (halfway between dress shoes and runners), and his usual pair of black gloves. He had a pair of shades tucked into his shirt pocket.
"Heh, maybe you can ask McCoy to make you a new one," he said in response to Aaron's comment.

"Ice cream's always good," Morgan said. Despite all the classes, despite all the training, his time at the institute had not completely removed his abiguity in relations to minor laws. And in his mind, if they were to "borrow" a car, it technically wouldn't be breaking any rules.
The vehicles were institute property, for the most part. Since they were students at the institute, they would technically just be utilising school resources, which would not be against any rules.
"So, when do we get going?"

"Not to shabby," she said, smiling and nodding at both Aaron's and Raze's quick changes into party attire. Suddenly, looking down at her own attire of jeans, flip-flops and a black tank top she felt under dressed. It was now her turn to step into a nearby phone-booth and pull of her rendition of a 30 second change.
Darting out of the kitchen and up stairs, she found her room with no problem, and after exactly four minutes of hurried tossing on and off random articles of clothing, she was ready. Entering the kitchen for the second time that day, Victoria stood in the door-way, her current outfit matching far more to her comrades then her earlier one. She wore dark denim blue jeans with matching half-jacket, a dark red halter top, and her trademark black and white Chuck Taylors to set it off with a tom-boyish flare. Classy heels would have also been a good choice, but she figured she'd save those for her wedding day.
"We get going now," she said nodding at Morgan and looking around at her fellow comrades. Taking two steps backwards, she stood out in the hallway, waiting for someone else to lead the way to the garage. Still lacking the proper tour she had no idea where the garage was. ================================== "My stars and garters!" Dr. McCoy was somewhat surprised to see Kidd in the infirmary so soon. The last time being only a few days ago, he learned through some simple testing that her powers were changing. Evolving even. And now, they seemed to be going into an unexpected over drive. Even with all the knowledge the fuzzy doctor had gather over the years of studying mutant DNA, he was completely unprepared for the next step in the evolution of Kidd. OOC: Katza, I'm sorry, but I really don't know what you want me to do with Beast, hence why I kept this post simple. I'll post again when I get home on Monday.

Kevin seeing Aaron and Raze go to change decided to change into something nicer himself. He thought his blue jeabs and Thindercats t-shirt weren't proper atire. As he was going to his room he thought that he didn't have any clothes. When he got there though, he rembered that Dr. Nicks (the social worker who brought Kevin to the institute) was kind enough to buy him some clothes since the only ones he had were the ones on his back.
He decided to wear a white button down shirt, black pants, his sneakes (the only other shoes he had were dress shoes that weren't that comfortable), and his watch. Kevin had gotten his watch on the birthday before his parents died and he has worn it everyday since. It was one of the few things he had taken with him when he ran away from his Uncle Rio. To him that seemed like a lifetime ago and if wasn't for him being able to pick up alot of street smarts, it probably would have been the rest of his lifetime.
After changing Kevin headed back to the kitchen. When he got back he saw that Aaron and Raze had finished changing. And it appeared that Victoria had changed too. Then she said that they were going now. She went out into the hall and it appeared that she was waiting for everyone else to go too. He decided to go in the hall and looked at Aaron, Raze, and Morgan to follow suite.

OOC: That, my dear, is Godmodding once again. Now that you know what is it, avoid it from now on. You have been warned. Beast was caught off guard as Kidd's powers went out of control once again. A simple sneeze on Kidd's part erupted in a small but violent snow storm within the infirmary. Dr. McCoy nodded solemnly and noted this chilly event on his clip-board. Rubbing his temples, he sighed slightly. If Kidd's powers really were evolving at this rate, who knew what could happen next. Or better yet, who could be in danger. "Well, Miss. Wendon," started Beast, not knowing exactly what to say in a situation like this, "seeing as your condition is progressing as such an alarming rate, I believe I'm going to have to do some more tests in order to help solve this problem. Do you think you're up for it?"

Within a moment's panic Toad felt his feet come down on the bottom of the pool. Opening his eyes he saw that the 10 foot deep end was no longer a threat to him. Most of the water was gone and he now stood stupidly in water that just covered his waist. Looking dumbfounded the boy stood there for a short time, trying to piece together what he could of his surroundings.
"Hey, when you're ready to come out I got some soda in the cooler here since you obviously dislike the taste of alcohol."
Looking up Toad saw the girl known Zion at the edge of the pool. She said something about soda and that's all the motivation Toad need to leap clear out of the pool and land in the grass with a soft ripping sound. He grinned then, letting his yellow teeth show through, and plopped his butt down on the grass as an unknown red color seemed to fill his cheeks. "I think I ripped my swim trunks, yo." Mortimer said to no know, but having to point out the flaw in his swim suit just the same.

Kidd's eyes were half open and she was still. her peplos moved to beast' s blurry blue form and she nodded slightly. she wanted this fix, out busts in the street and the school were really messing with her new life here. She couldn't understand what had trigged this sudden out burst. she was fine, up till when she met Zion, after she helped her in the hallway things started to go all screwy. she mind was becoming tired now, she dismissed it as a coincidence
