After passively watching the large blonde man kill a couple of centipedes near her, the last thing Alice expected him to do was ask if they needed any help, because... well, little late for asking. She looked from their lifeless forms to him, tilting her head in an almost curious way as she stared a while. Then she huffed out a short sigh and turned to her sister again. "The Haint brought us some sort of cowboy. You want it?" In the peripheral, Mimsy's eyes widened at that question in a way that suggested she was searching for the strongest way to say 'NO'.

She could feel the familiar hum of power in her hands, and Beatrix was eager. But for once, the barghest was also uncertain. [ Norrie, I don't think we'll get healed if I do it wrong, ] she whimpered. [ You might...dissipate. ] There was poison going through her system, and both were fighting it as hard as they could. The landscape was beginning to blur a bit. I like our chances, Nora replied casually, like she wasn't streaked with sand and sweat and in pain, because it was adorable to her to think her partner wasn't aware how death worked. Besides, think of the lady and gentlemen kisses we'd get if we killed it. Heroes get rewarded pretty well.[ LADY KISSES!! ] Beatrix barked and yipped and was back to her usual energetic self. [ Okayokayokay LET'S DO IT! ] Passing Lin and Brittney a cheeky look, as if to say how dare you try to take the glory, Nora's hammer lit up with electricity. She liked to think she got a decent amount of air, like a goddess leaping at a fell foe. Nora had certainly tried to cultivate the look for the orientation When the hammer struck the bug, a miniature thunderstorm exploded around her, all sound and fury and pain. And then she struck something softer. Sand. The insect was disappearing into a pile of mush, its last insult to her being a second sting at her leg. The trainee swayed and then fell to one side, satisfied but spent. The world was spinning now. She had to hope her actions meant something before the poison took her. The centipede went down and Rep landed in the sand, not lingering with the others to celebrate the victory, his shield was low and concerning. He needed more fear, enough fear that he could take it for himself. This wasn't where he was going to find it and there were probably other people who needed a hand.
Besides, there were a lot of people around, and Rep was anything but social.

What the actually hell had she just watched? The centipede that she had previously attacked suddenly oozed off of... Someone? There had been a person in there!? Their little cobbled-together squad seemed to be out of the fire but they weren't safe just yet. The girl still seemed out of it from the sting from earlier but Sonja wasn't entirely sure of their status. "Yeah, yeah, my legs still work." She assumed 'buns' meant her for the time being before she spotted a guy near her. "Sore but nothin' major." ◺I beg to ******** differ!◿ True. She probably shouldn't fight anymore but like she'd tell them that. Sonja's HP: 15/40

If Soleil had any intention on continuing to fight the giant centipede that seemed so dead set on murdering them, the desire was wiped away as she Saw her sister sprint in on the offensive, only to be bodily flung through the air to bounce bonelessly across a couple of Sand dunes. "LUNA!" It came out shrill and frantic, the elder twin struggling to keep her feet beneath her as she ran, unsteadily, to where the other girl had fallen. "********, Luna!" Someone else reached her first, a tall woman with a pair of fellow trainees with her, and Soleil watched on as Luna was drawn up by the arm, not entirely responsive, and the Sol dove for her, hitting the sand, but catching Lunaire before she dropped again. "I got you." The other three girls were wading into the battle, helping to take care of the centipede, but Soleil's priority, her only priority, was making sure her sister wasn't dead.

The world was still dark for the new Life hunter. It was oddly quiet, there was no obnoxious chime, or flashing red lights to warn her how close to death she was. It was just, silence. Then the chaos of battle started to slip into her conscious again. Someone tugging at her arm pulling her from the sand, the world went from a deep dark to a burning brightness that caused her to yelp in pain as the sudden brightness stung in her eyes. She had flown through the air, hit the sand, both her and her glasses where still whole though, her weapon where was it? Why was Lei suddenly so quiet? Someone else was near by but she couldn't make out who till they spoke. "Sol?" she mumbled glancing about confused, her eyes not focusing properly still. "Turn off the light. It's too bright." She muttered.

"Poor old man," Kingsley said, in spite of Lawrence just telling him not to call him that. The old man looked pale, but the belt seemed to have slowed the gushing. Still, he needed a doctor, like a real doctor.
"If we find his hand, I think they can like, put it back on. We'll just call the hospital," he said, taking out the cell phones they'd given them to dial the number.
There was a wail nearby. Women were falling to pieces left and right. Ladies could not handle bugs, or the battlefield, and hell was no place for angels.

Dinah had already been bending behind the cover of her impressively powerful sister to gather what bits of carapace and shell that she could fit inside of her pockets. They did not make large pockets on these coats and that was a real pity. Had she known they were going to go somewhere so very interesting she would have brought her bag! Robert's arrival wasn't even noticed in the mess and melee around them until Alice spoke in her twin's direction. "Hm? Oh." Standing she looked at Mimsy's shocked look, Robert's great big grin, and shook her head. "Nah. He doesn't have enough legs to be interesting." Not meant to be an insult to Robert (though that was how it came out) but just that she didn't care all that much for humans. That was normal and alright; they had never much cared for her either. "Lemme know if he grows a few more though. That'd be neat."

Lawrences slightly more now deadish BodyRoland nodded at Lawrence as he spoke, there wasn't much said before the older hunter seemed to slump down 'dead'. Cami gave him a few more extra instructions and then rushed to Caroline who was having her own panic. He looked to the tents they would be sa- nope they where on fire. A bunch of others where just killing a giant bug. A hand moved over Lawrences neck feeling about, a faint pulse was still there. He spoke to Tyra next, "He's alive, but he passed out." He glanced at the bro like hunter Kingsley, "Help me keep his arm up. Drag him down hill where its flat." He offered the handless arm to Kingsley to hold as he grabbed Lawrence's ankles and started to pull him through blood soaked sand. Quote: We're sorry. The call you have placed can't be connected.

Cee took Zeke's help to stand but also grabbed onto Jason regardless. She seemed to just notice he was pretty cute and gave him an appreciative glance. There was always time to appreciate the good looking, even amongst bug hell. The petite woman brushed herself off and very unsexily plucked at a wedgie and shook herself of sand. "Where's Ever?" She asked her friend, looking to see giant centipede's falling, bug corpses everywhere, blood and poison... The tents were also less appealing. Snap had ended up desummoned and the young woman summoned her whips again in precaution, not sure where to go or what to do even if she was still a bit wobbly on her feet. HP: 35

When Ro went to pull on Lawr's ankles, Melvin's haumches rose. "Why are you moving him? Go call for a portal!"

There was still a lot going on, which wasn't atypical either but usually Milo still would find himself in the middle of some of it. Somehow. He was still doing nothing, just out in the sand contemplating just sitting down and waiting for it to tide over.
What had being away so long done to him? Now he was nearly reclusive, unsure how to throw himself in the middle of anyone's business. Or maybe, in a thought to make himself feel better, he was just slowly now finding the path to be the mysterious sixth ranger; the one who helped only a little here and there until the second half of the season in which he would find his place within the (a) team or something. Getting a late start perhaps?
Koume chided him, naturally as he went about his half thought out conclusions about his life now. Milo scratched at back of his head, giving in and finding a seat on the shifting sands.

Lunaire Boss Group
Brittney was feeling woozy but not woozy enough to fail to see how Nora had "Holy ******** s**t, did you see her mess up that mother ******** fifty ways from Sunday? That is the most ******** coolest s**t! Does everyone have badass powers like that?" She had grabbed the nearest hunter she could grab to vigorously shake in wild enthusiasm.
Never mind poison was running through her and most likely those around her and shaking anyone was not a good idea.

// Wake. //
The first voice he heard from his daze was the loud, angry man in his head.
// WAKE. //
It got louder.
"AH WHAT THE ********-!!!" He finally came to, his body laid on the sand where he'd fallen from exhaustion and clearly hadn't been paying attention. Slapping his own face a few times he hopped back up. "Also not my girlfriend Dott-" His eyes focused. "GODDAMNIT! DOTTIE!" He moved quickly next to Dean and pushed him away. "The ******** man?" Even though Dean had clearly helped, Tobin wasn't going to leave Dottie alone, not now. He stared at her. "s**t, are you okay?"
The damn awful heat was messing with his mind and he slowly took a look around him. There'd been fire, and apparently some sort of battle.
// Sonja saved your entranced a**. //
"Thank you Sonja..." He muttered, but he was staring down at Dottie and gave her an affectionate tap of his boot. "Come on, you gotta be able to move in order to get me back for landing on you!"
Tobin turned. "DEAN! NASH! YOU JOKERS OKAY?!" They better be, if they knew what was good for them.

Roland stared at Melvin. Blinked twice. ."What do you mean call a portal!? CAELIUS THREW THE WHOLE ORIENTATION HERE!!!” He threw his hands up, "You go find a portal person I don't even know what a portal looks like!" He waved at Lawrence, "I barely know what I'm doing here! You're the senior hunter! fix it yourself!Apparently Roland was not handling the stress of today we'll.
