Now that he had mentioned food Lilo focused on it and realized they really hadn't eaten anything today. Though that being said they really weren't all that hungry yet. The excitement of the jubilee distracted them from being hungry at all. "I'm not too hungry right now, but some kind of food would be since soon. I'm sure we can find something that's not candy at this event. You don't strike me as much of sweets person..." Get it? Because he was rude to them about their hair? In all fairness though, he was being nice now that he thought they were blind.
He had set himself up for this one. Lilo tried their hardest to seem a little sad. "But...how am I going to know if I'd like it better?" Lilo tried to surpress the tiny little smirk that wanted to spread across their face. Eventutally they'd tell the poor little imp that they weren't actually blind, but right now was not that time.
As Lilo walked forward to pat Wayne's plushie on the head they tripped over something laying on the floor. Needless to say...Lilo went down...hard. They picked the tiny stone off the floor and tried their best to glower at it. "Ow ow owwww! People need to be more careful about things they drop, I swear!" Great, now Lilo's knees were a little scraped up AND they were slightly embarassed.

She chuckled and waved her hand. “That’s alright Gaeleath. I don’t need anything back. I just felt like giving you the candy. My name is Eveilyn. Most everyone just calls me Eve or Evie though.” She smiled. “Sure I’d love to play some games.” She looked around trying to find her little vespercat only to see the little sneak strolling up wearing a necklace. It seemed someone had decorated the vespercat while it had moved off. Leaning down and petting the cat Eve decided to leave the necklace on just in case the owner came looking for it later. The cat then proceeded to decide it had enough attention from her and moved to get pets from the little fey even though the freshling had full hands already. “Oh no you don’t.” Eve lifted the vespercat up and held onto it. “sorry it really likes attention.” Rubbing the cat under the chin she wasn't surprised when it melted in her arms and started to purr.

Kroll was on her way back to those pretty stones when her little vespercat took off like a .. well she didn’t know but it took off in a hurry. Chasing after it she soon found it all wrapped up and nomming on a snake. Grabbing the cat and snake she lifted them up and separated them. The snake quickly wrapped around her arm while the cat distracted by receiving attention again quickly curled into her other shoulder. Now with both hands full Kroll gave a huge sigh. She really was never going to get back to the stones today was she?

As if to accentuate that he should really stop lighting up, Ganymede himself was nailed with another one. Ugh. He was going to drown in these things at this rate. Still flickering on and off with utter embarrassment, he glanced around - looking anywhere but at Shard. Seriously. Did he seriously just ask if Leilah and him were--
His train of thought was brought to an abrupt halt by his next question. UGH. LEILAH WHY. He was going to have to give her a piece of his mind next him he saw her - why did she have to mention that! "I--" He started, voice cracking a bit... "have a boyfriend, yes, but he's not here as far as I know I didn't ask him to come here or anything so no....????"

Morginn nodded, looking considering. "That's good to know. I've been down in the area once before, just to check the place out, and it seemed nice." He shuddered. "Cold though, and even darker than it already is here in Below! I'm really glad I'm lunar, otherwise all this darkness would be a torment. I don't know how the solars cope!"
He put the final touches on the plushie. "Done!" With a grin he plunked it in Renge's arm. "That's yours." He turned his attention back to Raleka's plushie. Renge's had been quick because it was only one kind of fabric, but Raleka's was made up of several pieces and would need a bit more of a strategic approach to make sure it didn't clash or look lopsided.
Nefertiti stood alert, tail swishing side to side and her ears a litle perkier than usual. As she watched Freddy throw the ball she squeezed her eyes shut and held her breath. When she heard the ball land she opened her eyes. Immediately she was awash with excitment. "Ohhh my gosssshhhh! Freddy! You're amazing! T-That was so super cool!" The fact that she was just sad was now a thing of the past for her.
As she watched Freddy extend the gem she eyeballed it. Crouching down and getting at eye level with the stone. She smiled, "Freddy's right! It looks like this stone was made for you! It's really really pretty!" Without really realizing it she began to purr and purr kind of loud at that. This was easily one of the best days of her life. "What should we do now? Should we keep playing the games? I betcha that we could win one of everything!" She tried her hardest to look around the room, it was just so packed and hard to see anything because she was so short. Maybe there was an arts and crafts table or something and she could make something pretty and glittery for her friends!
Nef reached down to pet the vespercat that was doing figure 8s inbetween her legs when she saw the little coatl trying to get her familiars attetnion. She pet the coatl before picking it up and giving it a tiny little kiss. "Do you wanna be Nef's friend too?" Wow. TWO familiars? Maybe they sensed that she missed hers back home or something. She was definitely not complaining though.

Liath supposed his standing around had paid off when e was beckoned over to the freebie table, he made quick work of picking up some candy and popping some of it into his mouth.
Aren kind of chuckled at the other Chimera, yeah he was kind of weird when it came to talking. "Uh.. no I don't recall ever seeing you around. What house are you in?" It was true that chimera normally knew of each other. Aren was just one to hide away. "Our names are pretty alike, it will help me remember yours for sure." he actually smiled and felt himself relax a little.

Daimhin picked up her vesper cat, "Come now Alexx, its time to get more things." She walked over to a table with the cat in the nook of her arm, it pawed toward one of the shiny necklaces and Daimhin made quick work of scooping it up and dangling in front of Alex's face.
Seray nodded at the other, missing the upset tone of voice completely. "I mean we can't all be born with stars in-bedded into us." He looked down to his arms which we're also dusted in stars. "I mean you're cute though, and you have a nice smile. I'm sure many love you.' he said this in a detached monotone voice. As if reading from a transcript.

Altair had started a small collection of things he began to adorn his plus-hie with all sorts of things.
Miku decided that he needed more candy so when he spied a heart shaped box with cocolate inside he squeed and quick ran over to snatch it.
'Lilah sighed, and said "Ih-it can be huh-hard, sometimes, be-because I want to muh-make new fuh-friends, but I a-am not guh-good at approaching people. A-a-and the st-st-stutter I guh-get when nervous ki-kind of embarrasses me, so I suh-sometimes don't approach people."
She put her empty cup in the trash and peered at the other booths nearby. One had some ADORABLE fluffbug plushies available, and she claimed one, sliding it into her bag, before picking up a snack to nosh on from another booth. "I...I'm gl-gl-glad you like it. Wuh-warm spiced cider on a ruh-really cold winter night is wuh-wonderful."
"No! No, that's fine, really!" Had she come to him, he might have had to resign and take his embarrassed discomfort far, far away. "It's wonderful news, Amihan." There was no need to drag her happiness through the dirt just because he was apprehensive. Even though it was still difficult for him to grasp any reason for imbuing stones that differed from why his parents had done so, others had no such problems. He pat her shoulder.
"I think you will make an excellent parent. Ishy, too." Not that he knew the imp at all. He briefly wondered who the other parent or parents of his own child might be, but finding it too nervewracking to contemplate further, he pushed it aside. Shef cleared his throat, unable to share his own news, at least for now.
It was finally Hunter's Jubilee, Laurel's favorite holiday! Sure, he loved Hallowed Haunt for the candy and Winter Solstice for the decorations, but Hunter's Jubilee had his favorite color, pink! Everything was pink, from the plushies to the booths to the food, everything was colored in a lovely gradient of pink! But, it wasn't just the colors that Laurel loved about Hunter's Jubilee, he also loved giving people affectionate gifts! He'd even made bag loads of plushies to hand out! It was going to be the best Jubilee yet!
"Whaaaat? I've never seen these plushies before!" He exclaimed, pausing to scoop up one of the many Fluffbug plushies on a table. "... I have to start collecting these from now on! They're just as cute as Vespercats!"
Valerian was very thankful that his sister hadn't been interested in coming to the festival with him and Viveka. The last time she'd come to a festival with them, it had ended very sourly for them both and made daddy stressed out. It was nice to just be able to spend time with his roommate instead. He was sad to say that he really didn't know very much about Viveka, other than he was a bit of a scardey cat. He didn't mind that, though. His father was almost just as nervous as he was!
"Oooh, look Viveka! Chocolates!" He cheered, pointing to the boxes with his free hand. "Do you want to share them while we look around?"
Though Viveka was just as relieved to know that Dahlia wouldn't be following them around the festival this time, he still wasn't as relaxed as he wanted to be. After all, Valerian was holding his hand! It felt kind of silly to do that. They were inside, so they couldn't lose each other, right? He squeezed the pink haired hybrid's hand a few times and looked around the festival. Well, alright, it was a big room... They could still lose one another if they weren't careful.
"Chocolates? Okay!" He replied, nodding as Valerian plucked the box from the booth. "Wow, that box has a lot of color! I wonder how they did that!"
Siobhan wasn't as dazzled by the festival as most of the other students were. She prefered cool colors to the blazing reds and pinks that were all around her, but she supposed she shouldn't complain. After all, she had been paired with another Grimm, with the task to show him all around the festival and get him acquainted with the academy. He was pretty cute, she couldn't lie, and his coloration... Well. Let's just say he was very pleasing to the eye.
"Sooo, uh, this is Hunter's Jubilee." She said, motioning to everything around them. "As you can see, it's very... Pink. To put it bluntly."
She paused, watching the boy's ears twitch from side to side as she spoke and nudged him toward a booth.
"You can get prizes just for showing up, like..." She looked at the selection and picked piece of Fluorite. "... Rocks. Pretty rocks." (149 words)
Tyrian, who had been looking around at everything long before Siobhan pointed it out, looked to the girl quizzically. Yes, he could see that it was pink and he knew very well where they were. Why did she feel like she had to keep gesturing about like this? Did she think he was touched in the head because he was new to the academy? He arched an eyebrow and furrowed his brows further as he was nudged toward a booth and shown another obvious thing. However, this time, he couldn't keep his mouth shut.
"That rock is called Fluorite, and it's very nice of them to give it out to us." He explained, folding his arms and looking across the booth. "... Hm. While you take that piece of Fluorite, I think I'll nab myself one of these plushies."
He scooped it up and fluffed it a bit, before looking to Siobhan again.
"Shall we move on, or are we just going to stand about the entrance?" He asked, raising his brows. (172 words)
