His one, poor little chicken, once thrown over the edge, bounced off of the side of the wall and fluttered until it landed on top of the bridge, uselessly. Within minutes, it tumbled away to freedom.
At least it wasn't as gross as what had happened to the last chicken.

The hay bales were the perfect roosting spot for chickens, who continued to find them as he carried them away. He thought he should have shoo'd it away, but they did help.. and he wasn't entirely attached to chickens.

Throwing the hay bale with the chicken on top was a perfect match, and it clunked down into the ramparts, instantly disappearing under other people's items. He winced and then shuffled off to find something else - and tried not to think about that poor chicken.
