=>IN CHARACTER RULES You're back on the battlefield. A drone barks at you, for the orangebloods directly in front of your face, for the purplebloods, from a respectable distance. This is it, he exclaims, the time to bring glory to your blood colour! Your individual score will not change here today, but you will decide which team takes home gold in this event, and which takes home loosing. He points at the one flag in the centre of the field. It is both orange and purple, alternating in stripes. There will be a scrum. The first troll to return with that flag to their own base and return it will choose the winner. Kicking is allowed.
=>OOC RULES
It's the end of round 2 all over again. No forms are necessary apart from posting your defence # taken from the second of the 2d4s at the end of your post, and the 50 words before re-posting. This should only take 10 minutes or so, please be on at 7pm EST to play. If you can't make it, let me know and I will find a second to stand in for your troll on group chat.
BEGINS AT THE NEXT HOUR (10~ minutes from this post)! No waiting for a post! Please do it in this thread. Trolls still need to move between areas, but as long as you mark down in your reply where you are, it's fine. First target number for the flag is 3.
Alright it was just a race for the finish and best, Klymen totally had this. She stretched in place, bouncing excitedly as she waited for the gun to go off. She had to get the flag, otherwise seadwellers wouldn't keep their place at the top. And that was completely unacceptable because seadwellers were much better than the orange bloods, it was a universal fact. So when the gun went off, Klymen ran, nearly tripping over her feet as she went forward. Then actually tripping over her feet, missing the flag entirely.
Etsali stared across the sand at the flag and then past it to the seadwellers beyond. She was pretty sure one of them was, um, well, the queen. Yes that was definitely the queen. Ohh dear...She grit her teeth, glancing over at Keionx, then with an encouraging nod she took off towards neutral ground.
Waiting for the starting signal, Regina reached over and fistbumped Klymen. "Hey, we can do this." Turning back, she bounced on her heels until the it was time to dash forwards across the sand with the other three trolls, heading towards the flag. Colliding with the other bodies, she didn't manage to get her hands on the flag.
Capture the flag again. Keionx still had bruises from the last time, in the oddest places. Still, she had to go, partially for honor and also because she was not letting Etsali take all the glory. She tensed, staring at the highbloods intently.
It would be honor that would win the day. Honor and valor. And maybe speed. Lots of speed. At the sound of the starting gun, Keionx was off and running... To get that damn flag.
It was awfully tempting to laugh at the seadweller that had tripped, but she resisted the urge because uh, the flag was more important right now, kind of. She surged forward, reaching out, and stumbled over a pile of sand before going down face first. Yeah, definitely not the time to be laughing, ugh.
Ok, ok, so the trip was a mess up. She could do better though, she'd done surfing harder than this. Getting up, she dusted herself off and ran again but wasn't quite able to reach the flag among the crowd of trolls vying for it. Why was this so hard, she was one of the highest out there! She did sports for a majority of the time! Sheesh, lowbloods were so stubborn.
Pressing and pushing at the other four bodies around, laughing, Regina scrambled in the sand for the flag as it was kicked and bounced between the bodies. Someone would grab it soon, and then everyone would leap on top of that troll, and there would just be an insane pile of bodies. It was great.
She could hear beastdad in the crowd, cheering in the most embarrassing of ways. The scuffle had already begun, and Keionx willingly joined it, just to block him out. Through the pounding of arms and legs and horns, she felt her hand clasp around something fabric-y.
She dared not hope until... the flag!!! she had it!
Klymen pushed again, trying to get through the crowd of orangebloods. But it wasn't just her luck and she watched an orange blood snatch the flag from the group. Gritting her teeth, she moved away and looked to see where she'd move, obviously getting ready to take her down. It was her flag to take and win, not theirs!
Sure enough, one of the orangebloods, the one with the fluffy hair and freckles, managed to grab the flag. Along with her fellow seadweller, she jumped at the other girl, trying to tackle her to the ground. "You ain't getting away that easy, lowblood!" The slur was used with a cheerful tone, indicating the lack of hard feelings behind it.
The Klymen went for the flag once she could see the orangeblood, chasing after her while also trying to avoid anyone else doing the same. Running into the queen again would be stupid, especially after she was warned against it, so taking a deep breath she charged across the sand but couldn't quite catch up.

ABSCONDING!!! From Unzoned to Orange oh my gog!
Keionx untangled herself from the catacophany of limbs and creative curses and, throwing a punch behind her for good measure, broke into a dire run to the howling cheers of her lusus. Gog, she wished he wouldnt do that in front of Etsali. Gog, she wished he wouldn't do that in front of the queen. Ugh. Lusii.
She ran super super hard until...
"Ahahaha!" she cried, skidding over the orange paint of the base and dropping her flag squarely inside it.
She then struck a heroic pose and waited for the proclamation of her victory.
Klymen ran again but the other one was too fast and seriously, where did they get all this speed, what the hell? The crowd of trolls didn't help either and Klymen scowled as her target ran into orangeblood sand, confirming the win. Well, they could take the small win. She was part of the better group anyways and Klymen flipped her hair before turning away.
