Did she go a little too far? SugarPuss certainly didn't think so. It was probably for the best that she made it clear that there was nothing going on between her and WalkingMeatShield lest others like FlukeFiend started getting the wrong idea really. But something struck a chord in her when the Caterpillar boil said that he would gladly lay down his life for her just as he would likewise for his own sister.

Would he really? She found that hard to believe. After all, they had teamed up together simply because of the way their job roles complemented the other. It wasn't supposed to be any more than that. Still, the look in her eyes couldn't help but soften some when he reached up to pat her head along with the whispered words that were sent in private to her.
