The task was to examine the trees and the next one seemed certainly more friendly and also inanimate, which bigbadwolf took as a particularly good sign. The tree was full of other signs, it seemed, actual signs that weren't nearly so good as in they didn't really explain much of anything or make much sense but he supposed the tree was just on a far deeper level than he could hope to attain, and he was totally cool with that, man.

This tree again?! Teddomination folded his arms, pouting in frustration. He was a bear! Sort of. Still, he should've been better at navigating these woods! Not running into the same tree twice in a row!
At the very least, it still seemed calm from his last encounter with it. Teddomination gave the once sobbing tree a wave, and headed on, making sure to keep his distance from the wide-reaching branches
He wasn't going to run the risk of a second hug from this thing.

Shadow walked to the first tree she saw. It was a tiny tree and didn't look like much. Suddenly it started to speak. "Guess what I'm hiding!"
"A birdsnest?" Shadow asked "No, I'm hiding something in my mouth!" it laughed and opened it's mouth. Inside was a white fragment.
"It's pretty and goes well with your outfit. If you want it you can have it." The tree said while it took out the fragment. "Thanks!", Shadow said before she walked on to the next tree.

The humming and skipping had turned into a sort of dance as he still had a song stuck in his head, and he didn't know what song it was. "4, 3, 2, 1... 1 2 3 4, like ahhhh," he was singing, catching some of the words at random.
"What am I even singing!"
There was a tree with teeth on top of it, and it was smiling at him. He stopped dancing long enough to hear it say that he was lost, and he was like: "Well, yeah, but I have no idea where I should be anyway, so it's a lot like not being lost-- oh, you're gone." And that left him talking to himself, which didn't really bug him. He shrugged and kept on dancing his way to his final tree.
He was totally a boogiehatter.

Rhythm wandered around the forest after running into the talking set of teeth. It wasn't long before she found a tall slender tree that was asking her a question. "Wait you said you had two friends, but listed three names." Even ignoring the two friends three name thing it still didn't make much sense. There was one part in particular that confused her, the tree had said 'Nilly is taller than Dilly, but shorter than me.' before going 'Dilly is taller than me" How could Nilly be taller than Dilly who is taller than Tree if Nilly is shorter than Tree? There was really only one way. "Your height varies, thus your as tall as you want." Which of course was instantly rebuked by said tree. She didn't know why she had even bothered with the question in the first place and promptly turned and left.

StAyGoLd snorted and stretched, he wasn't phased by this dream. he was prone to odd dreams so he just shook his head and followed the road tugging lightly at his newly gained extravagant coat. He followed what he felt was a path through the ever-changing woods, a small smile on his face. Occasionally he would see a brief shadow of another player off in the distance but he shrugged it off; he was sure that he would meat others eventually.
He came upon a sign with an exclamation point which perked his ears. He was less than bothered when it began speaking to him. He listened closely, nodding occasionally before accepting the quest. Five trees. He had to examine only five trees? He turned in place, looking at the vast forest around him.
Well. This shouldn't be too hard.
He wandered for a moment before he found a rather long tree that seemed to be drawn towards him as he approached. He reached out a hand but was halted by the tree speaking.
"Oh, please, you're not putting your hand in my nose are you? That's so very disgusting, and I'm afraid I haven't cleaned up yet. Very disgusting indeed. Come back again when I'm clean."
Eachann shifted uneasily but obliged the tree and wandered away for a moment, however upon returning there seemed to just be empty space where the tree had been not moments ago. A brief wave of confusion crossed his face but he had a quest to continue!

5: You reach a willow tree and you can barely see its eyes through the giant slew of willows. It shakes its head furiously, leaves rain down, and refuses you let you go any closer, batting you with its leaves. Ow!
DarklingFox wandered up to another tree a normal looking willow tree this time. As she tried to approach it she suddenly started feeling leaves hitting her.
"Oh..that hurts please stop..."
She decided not to go any closer to that tree, but frowned slightly, she hadn't figured out how to find anyone playing yet. And truth be told she forgot what Sin said she was going to name her character. Frowning at the tree she quickly apologized before running off to find another tree to perhaps help...or talk to...

Guess what I'm hiding!
This tree was smaller than most, but to a very small teddy, that still was fairly large. Glancing dead-on at it, Teddomination blinked. What would a tree be hiding...?
"...honey?" He wagered, hoping not to play too much into the expected with his guess. The tree laughed heartily at him, then spit a piece of fragment into his paws.
....was that sap covering it?!
"....Thank you...??" Teddomination offered, trying not to get too concerned with thinking about trees and their spit. Pocketing the fragment, he headed onward to find the fifth and final tree in this silly little quest.

You reach a tree and on top of it is a smiling set of teeth. Not the tree itself, just on top of it. "You seem a little lost", says the smiling set of teeth, "but not to worry. Everyone's quite lost here. I hope you find your way, there's so much more for you to get lost in."
Before you can ask what it means, it is gone.
SoapsLuvver17 seemed overly and exuberantly exited about absolutely everything. Whether or not it was a dream was completely outside her main thoughts. She was in a fantastical land, she had a cute little outfit, and she got to make up her own avatar and name!
She of course made sure it reflected her greater interests.
The Cheshire Cat Class female bounced through the woods, giggling and screeching like a banshee. Of course she was only too happy to tak on a task by the mysteriously friendly crossroads sign. The dark skinned feline dashed through the woods, talking to the first tree to spark her interest.
"Lost? Me? No no! I AM FINE!" Even in the game world, she had no control over the tone or level of her own voice.

His dancing was almost becoming manic, he was having such a blast. Trees that talked and had stripes and teeth and gave him things, yeah, this was the life. He even had this cool little user interface thing above his head. It was rad. "Almost done! Who's awesome at this quest? This hatter!" he took a second to pose dramatically and point to himself, grinning from ear to ear.
He tried to sashay into the willow tree, but it was so upset that it kept volleying him with leaves and he whimpered. "You could use a serious hairstylist," hellrisen complained, straightening himself out and readjusting his hat, having picked it up from the ground and brushed it off.
"Not cool, willow! We're not friends at all!" he told it, dancing off again, forgetting the tree.
QUEST COMPLETE! Yeah, this was awesome. He was pretty happy.

"I beg your pardon," says the tree with stripes, "but I am not silly at all. In here everything is possible and anything is impossible and therefore a tree with stripes is completely within everything and anything." Its stripes change colours. "Now, give me a good, good shake. I want to get some more colour out. Shake me really well, if you do I'll reward you."
If you shake the tree it laughs happily and then spits out a fragment. It bids you your merry way as you continue walking. +1 fragment.
Oh! Another tree with stripes! She still couldn't help but giggle at it, it really was a silly notion. Smiling happily she complied with the request yet again. This time noticing the pink on the tree,
"Trees of every colour I bet you could be..."
Thanking the tree once again for another fragment. Smiling as she now held two. Wondering what she would be doing with them...clearly someone was going to know sooner or later right?
