And just as her hope began to fail her . . . something gentle brushed against her heart. Metaphorically, of course, but no less impactful. Murmurs went through her mind as someone in the beyond encouraged her.
It was a holy mission, after all. And while the past could run its words without meaning, Rostym felt that indeed she was on a sort of holy pilgrimage. A test to her willpower.
She may have become a little distracted by the soft pattering of mist that was hitting her flyer, making a strange little rainbow that danced over her eyes.

She flipped her hair back as they flew along. It really was delightful, she had to admit, even with rain pittering off the top of her glider and the wind blowing in her face (which was definitely an appealing thing).
Hopefully she wouldn't end up being blown away, though.

Ixb was really into this place. He was intrigued by the cliffs and the ruined airships. He saw some others take off in gliders and it practically had him running over to them.
He'd get to fly?? AWESOME.
He happened to be lucky enough to wind his glider up just enough to blast off.

Ixb glided peacefully until he heard the voices. They tugged at his ears and made him turn the glider here and there in efforts to hear them. A particularly strong voice hit him.
Angry and violated it hit him like a ton of bricks and his glider dropped drastically.

A sharp gust of wind made her shiver, the aircraft listing to the left. She got her bearings shortly after. The various temperatures here really seemed to throw the wind for a loop . . .
Flicking and floating around the clouds, she waited until she found the perfect way to land, feeling the little jittering feeling again, as she departed fast enough so she could watch her partner, hoping the girl would get down as fast as she could.

The updrafts and gusts sent Ixb's glider tumbling. He clung tightly to it and tried to hold it together.
