Kira would shake his had, Oni would not listen at all, now Kira knew what it was like being on the otherside of the fence so to speak, he'll be sure to apologize later.

He would reach for his sword till he heard Janus on the side. Turning his attention, and being thanked? the heck. Before he could do anything Janus tossed him the helmet, oh sweet baby dragon's why did he do that. Kira would attempt to grab the helmet and it'd bounce from hand to hand, and almost fall to hit the ground, diving to the side he would indeed catch the helmet, woo that was close.

Standing up with the helmet he would get the sudden chill, oh my, the bane of Kira's existence, cold weather. Sneezing he would stare as Roy was frozen solid, he wasn't fare behind, Kira felt like an ice cube as well. Walking over he would listen to both sides. Walking up towards Janus he would be shaking, not cause of his new form, but because he was cold to begin with. Tapping him on the shoulder he would just glare at Janus.

"Its g-g-g-great to know that you can s-s-s-stop t-t-them. b-b-b-but can you do me a f-f-f-favor!? ITS FRIGGIN COLD MAN!!!" Kira would turn his gaze towards Oni as he walks by Roy, and stands near the ice cube as he is shaking all over the place. "N-n-n-nice to meet you, I'm K-k-kira, Man its cold Oni! Knock it off furball!

Kira had an icicle grow from his nose as his clothes were starting to get stiff from the blizzard, he may have been part dragon, but that doesn't mean anything when his breed of dragon is weak to cold weather, you would think a werewolf and dragon wouldn't like cold, huh, who'da thunk it.

As the crystal would form around his body, Negi took the chance to examine it. However it wasn’t anything he had ever seen before. It was unique in a certain way. It reminded him of his old friend, and rival, who had been gone for many of years. Just when he started to space out the crystal would hit the ground and the Were-Tiger would be released from the crystal, and the floating prison. He would quickly examine his body for anything unusual it wasn’t anything personal, but an old habit from a former member of Hells army. When he realized nothing was on him he would walk beside the three, and would take the same concern about Avery as Wyndom did.

“Yes will he be ok?”

As he asked this he would notice the dark void that suddenly just appeared, and sent out the red electricity. Suddenly surprised with the interesting power that had been used, but Negi was eager to get out of the cell. He would follow behind Wyndom as he stepped out of the cell. Negi would feel his elemental control come back to him, and slightly grin to show he was pleased. While they walked down the hall the door would open revealing five guards. There was two on each side of the door, and one who looked as if he was relieving one of the four standing by the door. As Wyndom told him to take care of the guards, quickly without any word in response He would lunge forward.

While he moved forward the summoner would push his hands out to the side using his elemental control over wind to throw four of the guards that were closer to the door, against the wall closest to them. When the guards would hit the wall he would already be leaping into the air at the guard that was about to relieve one of the others, while grabbing ahold of his head. Negi would be directly above him with both hands on the man’s head as he would spin snapping the guard’s neck. By this time the other guards would start to get up. Negi would land on the ground with his right knee on the ground facing the guards. He would then slashes at the men twice, and blades of wind would shoot forward at them. There would be four blades that would be sent at the guards for each of his claws. So he would be sending a total of eight wind-blades at the men. When they would hit the guards it would start to rip through them as if a chainsaw was making contact with their skin. As blood would splatter in his direction he would lift the body of the guard whose neck he had just snapped. Wyndom and the others didn’t have to worry about the blood because the way the wind-blades went through it would only shoot forward.

Normally the summoner did not like to resort to these sorts of techniques for people who were much weaker than he was, but he was on a mission and had been delayed for far too long now. He would then stand up, letting go of the body saying,

“Lets go.”

Unlike Roy, Oni had been fully trapped within the cube of Hell's Ice. Oni would let out a roar as he started slashing at the wall of ice in front of him. His claws couldn't even put a single scratch in the ice, this would only serve to infuriate him further. His eyes would being to glow red as his body began to grow larger and larger. He was shifting into his dragon form in an attempt to shatter this ice using pressure. His body was pressing on all sides of the cube now, but the cube still wasn't giving way.

A pop would echo from within the cube as Oni began to revert back to his human form. Oni's left arm was hanging lower than his right arm, it was clear that his left shoulder had been dislocated. A scowl would spread over his already annoyed face as he held up his right arm. A red, baseball sized orb would appear in his hand. With one quick thrust Oni would slam the energy cannon into the wall of ice in front of him. The inside of the cube would fill with smoke from the explosion. Clouded from view by the smoke there was no way to tell if Oni was alright, or even still conscious after taking the full force of his own attack in a very confined space.

"Sorry Kira, I can't control how cold it is here. I can only control the ice, but now that the two of them have been sto..." The ice demon would stop as he saw the orb appear in Oni's hand. He can't be doing what I think he's about to do. Even in a feral rage he has to realize it futile to keep fighting. But Oni would show how much disregard he had for his own life when his feral side took control. Once smoke filled the cube Janus would quickly release Oni. The smoke would drift away and show that Oni was still alive and his body was intact, but he was out cold.

Seeing this Janus would turn to Kira and sigh. "I'll carry him, you lead the way back to where we were going." Turning his attention to Roy, Janus would only sigh. "Here are the facts as I see them. You have information about what is going on. You know my Lord Oni. And for some reason Lord Oni wanted you dead. Since you have information I will bring you with us, but you will remain in that prison until Lord Oni wakes up and decides what to do with you. If you object to this, I will just leave you out here trapped in that cube of Hell's Ice. So I trust you have no objections." While Janus spoke to Roy he would walk over and lift Oni up onto his shoulder and stand back up looking back to Kira. The cube of Hell's Ice would lift up off of the ground and move behind Janus. He was all set to get somewhere that Oni would be able to get the medical attention he needed.

Roy turned to see a very cold Kira walk up and introduce himself. Roy nodded in response. There was little to nothing Roy could do. He knew all to well what Hell's Ice was capable of. He won't struggle to break free knowing it would be a wasted effort. Roy then watched Oni try to make an attempt to escape his cube but even the power of a leader seemed to prove useless. The one named Janus then approached him and gave Roy his options. Roy nodded to him as well. Roy's body was able to some how ensure the ice. Perhaps it was his connections to both his uncle and his father but Roy didn't seem to be cold at all or at least show it's effects. Roy's body was also completely wrapped with that strange cloak that displayed Kikyo's symbol.

Lord Tathian Vanguard of the Legion of Nazareth

User Image

Tathian settled on the seat behind the desk, above his head, on the wall behind him was a single adorning weapons rack. The weapon upon the rack was a plane long blade slightly longer than a short sword, not as long as a long sword. The blade itself was thick, almost thick enough to match the hand which would wrap around it. All this meant the blade was heavy, but it was heavier than usual because it had a very unusual guard. The blade had a silver plat aligned with the flat of the blade extending to the end of the hilt where it was connected. In his hand the plate would serve as the ideal way to strike away incoming attacks then turn offense to defense by simply thrusting the blade. The plate was thick enough and heavy enough to qualify as a buckler, though not large enough for its weight. Other than the plate there was no guard upon this blade of the legion.

The plate hung facing outward visible along with the flat of the blade, the flat of the blade held no adornment instead it showed days and days of pattern welding and hardening. The plate held some decorative detail, for upon it sat the seal of a legion lord. With the blade he could administer binding oaths though not the oath of the legion. The seal itself was a dragon of oriental design wrapped around an imperial legion blade set in the center of the shattered remnants of the plane of Nazareth. As he seated himself it took him only a few moments to set out a few things, first was a book containing the list of legion oaths. Second was a sheet of parchment, a contract of sorts, third an inkwell and feather pen.

Eying the book he flipped it open scanning through the pages until he found the oath he needed and the specific clause that he must write into the contract he would have her sign. Carefully he dipped the feather pen letting it soak up some of the ink, as soon as he was sure it was ready he moved the pen to the parchment and in the same hand and calligraphy of the previous text he began to ink out the clauses of the contract as they would be enforced by her oath to the legion. This contract would serve as a guarantee of employment on a basis to be inked out upon the contract itself. In exchange the subject receiving employment would receive what ever arms and armor needed for their job, in addition to room and board for the length of the contract. Employees required to travel beyond the complex for their duties will receive a token which for the time their oath holds valid will allow them to come and go to their chosen plane, or the nearest plane freely. The plane the user chooses must be named at the time of the crafting of the token.

As an added precaution the contract layed out a few extra clauses, including the clause which would prevent her from killing another individual unnecessarily in the course of legion business. A clause that stated that she was not an employee when she was not on legion business. Finally a clause that stated that should she betray her oath or her employer any knowledge gained in the course of legion business or as payment for her work would be wiped from her mind at the time of the betrayal by way of the magic of the oath.

When he was done inking in the clauses an effort which would take several minutes and more than a few dips in the ink well he blew gently on the parchment letting the ink set and dry. Satisfied with the contract itself he held it out to her, sliding the book over next to it to show the oath which was to do with a contracted individual. That done he sat back allowing her a few minutes to examine the two pieces of text.( I have drafted both pieces of text, the oath, and the contract.) At which point he started speaking his tone dry.

”As outlined in the text, my employees are the legions employees, and the legion binds its employees by a mutually binding oath and contract with consequences for breaking either. The parchment contains the terms of your employment which you came seeking, there are details we will still need to finalize. To your right is a basic oath of contract, in short it will ensure that if you do not adhere to your contract, your payment is nullified. The oath and the contract are sealed in binding legion magic signing the contract implies the oath, but you will do both if you wish to work for me. Unless there are questions about the oath, the binding, or the contract, and provided you are still interested in employment we can begin to discuss terms.”

((ooc: Better, the more detail you provide, often the easier it is to roleplay with you. Another step if your up to it that you might take is separate your post into different sections, either by time or content. Then flesh out each section with the appropriate details. But this was much better.))

She took a look around the office and its simplistic design. She wondered if the sword on the wall was just for decoration or if it was actually able to use.To her sensitivities it was very aesthetically flawed as she notice there was no guard. She didn't want to risk the possibility of being in range of that weapon so she stood up and had the contract float in mid-air as she read it.As she scanned the contract she was unimpressed by the terms and conditions. For one with her skills and occupation it was little more than an insult to her profession to be presented with such a rudimentary contract. She cast her gaze into his eyes and spoke in a tone of pure disappointment.
"I'm insulted you would have the nerve to place this in front of me without a test of some fashion.I would think a man of your position would know better."

The same elbow that slammed into elbow whipped around for the underside of the Guard's chin but missed by a sudden change of calculation as she began retracting the knee, only to stumble back as the Guard pushed hard. Raven came to fall and tumbled, dragging the Guard with her as she flipped the body over her and rolled to stand, a firm grip on the shaft of the Staff. It all seemed to flow in one seamless move, and Raven's loose, water-like lithe did not lose its fluidity. She turned her hallowed gaze on the two Guards that would soon oppose her.

With a violent lurch she shot backwards, reeling around to face Guard 7. The ground at her feet would begin to crack, the immense pressure of Psychokinetic energy being wielded at once, though it wracked damage on her physical body. It raced along the ground, the violent exertion of ethereal energy shooting towards to Guard, aimed walls behind him. The aura flared, the green energies coursing through the air, rising up and up as the true, cold, nature of OXY and it's KANZAKI revealing itself. Blood seeped from Raven's nose, though it did not deter the computer that wielded her now. Only the soft glow of the cones and rods of the obsidian irises stared stoically at the Guards that cried out to their fallen comrade.

The right palm extended, the gaze averting to the staff. Raven wobbled as she stepped to the fallen Guard and snatched the pressed the toe of her boot along the shaft. Swaying over the Guard, weight was placed along the shaft, though not nearly enough pressure to shatter the weapon.

Lord Tathian Vanguard of the Legion of Nazareth

User Image
Tathian didnt even blink, the contract was worded specifically such that the woman would not retain any knowledge gained while in his service if she did not completely perform to satisfaction. In short, he didnt need to test her, if she wasnt good enough her memory would be wiped and she would be returned to heaven where he had found her. There was no payment for partial service rendered, it was either complete service meeting expectations, or it was a memory wipe and a one way ticket home. If she was insulted by the thoroughness of the contract, by the way in which he chose to test her then she could choose to no longer be interested, and earn a one way trip back to heaven. If the woman felt the need to demonstrate her skills prior to the signing of the contract she could so chose to do so, but not in a situation where she would gain more knowledge than she had already been exposed to.

His demeanor changed at her insistence that the contract was an insult, but not in her favor, instead it expressed disappointment, through the subtle slump of her shoulders, the shift of his eyes to a stack of other such contracts, finally his attention shifting to the subtle water clock on a shelf behind her which kept immaculate the time of Nazaris. If she was half as perceptive as she seemed to think she was she would read disappointment in her unwillingness to discuss terms. A shift of interest away from her as a perspective employee, and finally a level of irritation with her wasting his time. Further the almost inaudible tapping of the toe of his boots would generate the sense of impatience.

In short without speaking he was conveying a message to the woman, accept the initial terms, that you must sign the contract and swear the oath by magic. Then we can get on to the issue of specific terms. Clearly you thought you were worthy of being hired, if you think I should have doubts then I will just roll the contract up and escort you off the premise. Stop wasting my time, and commit, if you cant do that you arnt worth hiring. All this from simple shifts in his demeanor, especially given his propensity for stillness. The woman might have been insulted but as a lord and prospective employer he could give a rats a** about such things, her arrogance would need to be reigned in if she wished to work for him.

She could see in his impatient tapping and tone that he hadn't found the flaw within contract.Like most lords she had dealt with he'd become pompous and bored of the situation as most aristocracy does. She wouldn't mention that her social status equal if not slightly above his own.She noted his repeated variations of her memory being erased of her time employed. This expressed a deep lack of trust in her as if she'd tell a soul about her work.Besides that the mere fact she had enough information to know of him and his comings and goings proclaimed there were others that knew of him.So the question that remained was her problem with the contract. It was in essence this simple query; What protection would she receive? As the contract stands now she was akin to the sword on the wall.Only used when needed and easily abandoned should it fail. Tathian didn't address what would happen if she was captured during a job.Would he send help? Would he leave her for dead and wipe her mind? What if he set his sites on her home? She addressed these ponderous question by revising the contract and returning it to him by hand instead of her usual manner. She added a clause that stated should he ever attack her home or family that the contract would be nullified but her memories would remain intact. She also included that should she be captured on Legion business and held hostage that Tathian would free her himself if able. Her changes were small and completely reasonable so she waited for Tathian to read over her changes. She kept body relaxed.... and her eyes focused on his reaction.

Lord Tathian Vanguard of the Legion of Nazareth

User ImageTathian reached out a hand taking from the woman the contract, he had watched her pen another clause or possibly two. As he read over the new changes he dipped his own pen in the ink making one more minor adjustment to the contract. She had stated if for any reason Tathian or the legion attacked her home, a fine clause needing only the minor touch of unprovoked. Finished with the change he handed her back the document with an approving nod. Indicating that if she was all right with the slight modification to her clause they could begin discussing the terms of her employment.

As he waited for her to consider the contract he stood and turned reaching for the hilt of the sword, its scabbard well worn but also well cared for would be revealed as he lifted it from a rack beneath the sword itself. Laying the scabbard on the table he set the blade down aligned with the flat of the blade was the parry plate an elaborately carved piece of metal which contained his own personal insignia and was required on any legion document that required his signature, it guaranteed its authenticity. Once the terms were discussed and inked into the contract signed by the prospect and signed by himself he would mark the contract with his insignia and submit it to the legions office.

Tathian had done this recently with another, that other though had joined the legion, his name had been Zenrai and he was due to finish his training soon. Then he would be returned to serve under Tathian's forward command. The legion had an interest in earth and its sister planes, heaven and hell. The contention between the light and the dark and the battle that left the earth in ruins. Still that was none of business neither was it truly his business, his assignment was to wait and watch and become familiar with the plane and its residents.

Seating himself again he glanced at her to see if she was ready to provide her final approval on the contract. Or if she had another contention, he was ready to examine that contention and address it. Still he would rather begin the discussion of terms and get on with this, that way he could begin getting a feel for heaven where he had landed on his planar jump.

Sabriel Megalith

[ Yabbashael ]

"MISS Sabriel?!"
The fairy princess was shocked with the way that the guards addressed her. Had they NO training in how to deal with royalty?
"Not only do you have a Knight in charge of what is effectively your capital city, but you, their… representatives… their.. hired help have no idea how to address someone who is of higher rank than you!"
The guards first address of her after she'd formally announced who she was to gain access to the city had been bad enough, but this had her blood boiling.
Every single one of her Megalith members had it tattooed to their brains over how to address people of rank. Sure, many of them didn't use their training unless they had to, but a lot of the time that was down to their personalities.
In the mean time, yes she was trying to pass under the radar a little, but that cover had been blown when she had given the guards her almost full title at the gates. On that basis, shouldn't they have had the wisdom to address her befitting her station?!
"I am a QUEEN you imbeciles. You address me as Your Majesty or at the very least, Ma'am. You DO NOT address me as Miss!!"

At this point her mini tirade had made some of the locals stop to watch the scene of the little woman taking on the two larger guards.
Her deep blue eyes were about as hard looking as her voice sounded and there was no way that her earlier threat could now be considered "feeble"
Digging the tips of her fingers into her upper arms, Sabriel tried to avoid marking her flesh with her long fingernails as she tried to reign in her anger.
In the fairy realm, these two guards would have been flogged for their insubordination.

"Now. My questions:
a) Can I safely assume that before I am to meet this Sir Aaron of yours, I will be allowed to freshen up and make myself presentable?
b) Why is someone as lowly as a knight allowed to be lord over what is apparently your capital city?
c) Why does the said knight have such control over someone who is apparently much more powerful than him when you take a step back to look at their perspective positions within Heaven?
and then finally d) If Lucas is here and I am requesting to see him, then taking into account my rank, then surely, shouldn't I be allowed to see him swiftly? There may be something severely wrong with my realm that I require his assistance in!

What felt strange to Sabriel was the fact that by now, she would have been starting to calm down only her anger and annoyance seemed to be sticking to her like a burr.
Close by, a couple of young woman tittered behind their hands, amused over how the fairy was dealing with the situation.

Kira would be shivering as he stood there with the helmet, this was by far not the place he prefer to be, in fact, he'd prefer to be sitting on a grassy plain, or relaxing on the beach in the sun, this cold stuff is for the penguins. And rightly so, even his flame's would be effected in this place as well as the rest of his other tricks.

Looking towards Oni as he began slashing at the cube, what was he thinking? the chances of it being broken easily was, well as much as Kira liking cold weather. "And he calls me a wild animal."

The next bit surprised him, a red orb? with in a container? and he is one angry p***y cat to boot, well, that's a recipe for trouble. "He wouldn't..." the red orb began to glow. "Yep, he's doing it" Covering his face with the helmet he would hear the explosion go off, and knew what he did.

Moving the helmet to the side he would turn and look at Janus and Roy, and sigh. "Well, no rest for the weary huh? Follow the nose gents, come on mr snow man, and sir ice cube, don't drop the cat, last thing we need is for him to get his fur wet and hair ball." Kira would lead the way for Janus and Roy to follow, back towards the city Oni controls.

Kira had a bad feeling about everything going on. The heavy feeling in his heart and soul, he was worried for Light and Raven and Wyndom, and company, he was angry he was not there with them. Gripping his necklace with his right hand as his left carried the helmet, he'd whisper to himself. "If something happens to them...whomever it is will rue the day they ever hurt them...please guys be alright..."
((This is the time for anyone within hell's area i would think to join into the party?))

A dark blue mist that seem to appear withing the vicinity as two figures appeared a few feet away. One was a man standing about 180 cm.His eyes are amber like color mixed with green giving them a slight serpent look.Black ink-like markings could be seen around his eyes also.He has long hair that protrudes out the back of his head that is black as the night sky and wavy was tied in the back in a ponytail. His attire consisted of a jet-black fedora with red coloring around the brim with a black suit with purple flame hues and red tie. A necklace is also dangling on his neck in the shape of a eye.On his back in a holster and wrapped in bandages fitted with inhibiter rings is a sheathed sword. The aura coming from the figure caste cascading reflection of and eerie light;like ripples upon water..User Image

Next to him is a young woman standing with a slender build. She stands at 5’6", with thick black hair and black eyes, that are covered by a white mask, resembling a foxes’ head with a wide grin. She wears mostly white kimono, with a red and silver fox crest at the collar and sleeves, showing that she is of royal birth. She also wears Sashinuki Hakama, (a type of traditional flowing Japanese pants), which are gathered at the ankles producing the "ballooning" effect and her footwear consists of flat pointed shoes, along with a three-eyed, three-tailed wolf hanging around her shoulders like a shawl. She exsudes the presence of royalty and her presence seems to stir the air itself and allow her to hover a few feet off the ground with her six fox tails behind her swishing in the air.

"Well Well Well what do we have here" said the woman
"Hehehehe how should I know sister? I thought we were just searching of Night Sparrow.O well i guess...hehe" said the man next to her.At a first glance the woman might of been some sort of royal and the man her guard. Both had slightly human like features and thier powers were hard to sense at the moment.

Kain would simply shrug when they both showed concern about Avery, which of course he found very hard to do considering all the weight on his shoulders. "I'm pretty sure he just needs to regenerate. I ain't entirely sure why he's effected, though. I'm almost in the dark as much as you guys."

For now, because of Avery, Kain was practically defenseless. A very bad position to be in when you were enemy territory. Because of this he hung back behind the the two, and slowly followed after Negi had wiped out the five guards. His luck would be that one would still alive and get him in the back.

As that thought came to mind he began to come to a stop, and looked at all five bodies. "Guys, think the clothes from these guys might fit us? It might be possible that we could slip on through if they think we're these guys. Especially if we use Avery to make it look like we were attacked and retreated? Maybe?"

"That's not a bad idea at all, Kain. Although I don't think "retreating" would be the best option, these guys aren't the type to do so. Maybe we will say we re-contained the prisoners, and that Avery here was injured in the process and we're going back to get some medical aid or some such thing."

Wyndom didn't even like that reasoning either, though...why would 3 people need to escort an injured person and leave behind a single guard to prevent another breakout? Either way...having the guards clothing was a smart play.

Walking to one of the 4 guards with his chest slashed in, Wyndom eyed the blood-stained clothes...

"Anyone have a blood-stain-removal technique? I don't think we want to take the time to throw them in a washing machine..." he joked.

Then again, blood stains proved they had fought...

With a sigh, Wyndom undressed the guard, leaving him in his under clothing. He blasted the suit thoroughly with wind to dry out the blood so it wouldn't soak into his own outfit. He then gingerly put it on over top his black clothes, eyeing the visible tears on his chest.

Still...it was better than nothing...

Once everyone had finished donning their own clothes, or even refusing to put them on, Wyndom would use his electricity to search the area around them like a radar. It only reached out 20 feet or so in every direction, and so they would be forced to walk forward to explore this underground prison.

The company would soon realize that it was more or less a maze to get out of here...
