C.J. nodded as Mxy poofed off. You and me both, Mxy-boy. he thought. "Well, while we're here, hon. Wanna tour of the place or would ya like to relax a while?" C.J. asked Misty as Mr. Walcott got back to his work.

C.J. smiled. "Sure thing! Like I said, though . . . it ain't the Ritz, but it's good enough." he said as Mr. Walcott looked up.
"Fine by me, m'boy. Just stay out of the Elephant car . . . believe me. NOT the best place to bring a lady." Mr. Walcott said. The way C.J. wrinkled his nose at the comment meant either C.J. was a democrat or he knew full well WHY.
"I went in there once. Shitty experience . . . literally!"
. . . eeeeew.
"Glad that's at the front of the train and we're in the back, Mr. Walcott! Thanks!" C.J. said.

C.J. looked back at Misty. "Aww, a few lions, six tigers, seven elephants, fifteen horses, my basset hound Lafayette, thirty trained birds, a cat we found at trackside the clowns adopted and . . . hey Mr. Jack. We still got that Panda from DC?" he asked as Mr. Walcott looked up.
"The Redskins wanted him for a mascot. We had to bring him back to Washington . . . sorry." Mr. Walcott said as C.J. smirked.
"The panda fan in me is glad he's in a zoo. The Dallas Cowboys fan ain't too pleased that we dealt with the Redskins though, but I digress. We USED to have a panda as well." C.J. said with a shy smile.

"Well...that's quite a bit. I usually only see two or three of those kinds of animals at a time." she replied with a small smile. Usually zoos or farms.

C.J. smiled. "You wanna come see 'em? Long as ya stay away from the front side of the jungle cats and the backside of the elephants, you'll be set." he said as Mr. Walcott looked over at them and smiled before producing a little corn liquor to drink.

C.J. smiled. "Sounds good. C'mon! I'll show ya most of the train on the way." he said with a smile. Of course, once they got to a certain point, they'd have to disembark and go inside the cars one at a time, but in the meantime, they made for a pretty easy entrance and exit.

Misty smiled and wrapped an arm around CJ. Well....this was rather nice again. Relaxing...no one trying to catch them or kill them. Hopefully things would be fine until tomorrow.

C.J. smiled back and held Misty close to him as they wandered up the train, of course, the train being as it was, it was enough for C.J. to fire up a good tour.
"Yeah, this is pretty much home for most of us for about . . . nine months out of the year, ho- careful, hon!" C.J. said, getting Misty out of the way of a lovely little hole in the floor. "A few of the cars still need renovations . . . we use the cash of what we earn to keep it running." he said with a shy grin.

Misty smiled and looked back at the hole as they passed by it. "Well...at least they aren't too hard to patch up." she replied, looking back up at him. A temporary fix for something like that could come cheap.

C.J. looked back at her. "Yeah, Arell, Dun' and I've been meaning to do it, but that whole 'vigilate hero' thang kinda gets in the way." he said as they walked up to the front of the car. They had about one more car to go before they were pretty much in the animal part of the train and had to move from the outside of the cars.
"Say, I wonder if the IO geeks and Typhoid know each other?"
I DOUBT they'd find us here.

Misty smiled. "It sure does. I barely had time to clean my apartment half of the time. I usually bought microwavable to keep from having a stock-pile of dishes." she said with a small smirk.

C.J. smiled. "Don't worry . . . stick around long enough and you can stay with us . . . just . . . don't let Dundee cook. EVER." C.J. said. Of course, Dundee's culinary . . . failures often led to more visits by the fire department and the pizza guy than they cared to admit.
