"Alright, time to set sail for...anywhere but here!" Van called from up on deck as his crew got to work and they began to shove off. "See ya later a*****e! I swear, once I get my body back, you're toast!" he called back to town, the threat aimed at Jaquel even if not one demon was in sight. Somehow Van had also come into the possession of, and was currently wearing, a rather fancy captain's hat.

Mikhael chuckled again. "Fair enough." That hadn't really been what he was thinking of by other things, but it seemed legitimate. "Shall we?"

Mala giggled at Van's antics. She then thought of something. Since when did she start finding it endearing rather than annoying? That puzzled her. She said nothing, now confused with herself. After awhile she said to Van and his crew, "If any of you see the demons from where you are at, tell me immediately. I'll then try and set up a barrier around the ship so that they either won't see us or cannot harm us. Before anyone asks why I'm not doing it now, it's because I would drain myself out needlessly if I did it the entire time and nobody attacked."

The extravagant hat made up for the small height difference between him and Mala and, including the headwear, made them the same size.

Mala couldn't help but find herself grinning once more. Even if she only thought of herself as an expendable peasant most of the time, it felt nice to be treated with respect as the priestess she was - no matter how odd she may be.

Mala went on to ask, "Van? You okay?" She already knew the answer, but still had to ask. It probably didn't help that she didn't get nearly as queasy as he did.

((*Hugs* I be sibling-less, but I've been to my friend's house. In recent years, her maybe fifteen year old brother has all but become a hermit in his room yelling at his games over xbox live. We can hear him screaming from the first floor of their two-story house. It's kinda scary. ;-; ))
"Urhh....Thanks..." Van moaned, appreciating the sentiment, though it only helped a little. "I'd lie down...but I'm not sure that would help any...."
