my mom used to sing in weddings. you know those old corny "i will love you forever" songs? she was all about me and my brother staying away from stuff that made you angry, and wanted us to stick with stuff like country, or in that day, pop( gonk gonk ). well, when she first saw the Meteora album in my pants pocket, she snatched it automatically looking fo the warning label. when she couldn't find it, she read the lyrics. she was glad that i wasn't listening to anything that was telling me to shoot my little brother or anything, but she can't listen to the screaming. I tell her her ears are too tender from all the lovey dovey crap she listened to. she's into 3 days grace now, alot of hinder, and a little megadeth, so she's outgrowing it a little.

OMFG... Your mom sounds just like how my mom was. I was kept away from bands, and I just listened to my mom's music (old '70s rock and roll) or my sister's music (POP... crying stressed scream gonk ). I have now moved away from that stuff and now I only listen to rock and metal... and some songs that have remixes. I just like remixes. Now my mom doesn't care what I listen to and she even stops on the rock stations on the radio here (occasionally). Hmm... I guess some parents get weak ears from certain music (when my mom first got the Meteora album for me, she let me listen to it on our car stereo. However, when she came in from the store, my dad liked how I was "jamming" to Don't Stay, but she immediately hit the eject button and thrust it back to me.

My parents dont hate LP. Thank god cause LP is my favorite band. Im so excited cause there is only 7 more days until Bamboozal and i'll get to see them for my first time which is sad cause they've been my favorite band for while. But its going to b so awesome!!!!!

Ya, my parents hate it too, but i listen to it no matter how strict my parents are anyway.

hint:if your parents don't like the kind of music you listen to, DON'T BLAST IT THROUGH THE HOUSE FOR AN HOUR!!!

my father was the one who got me into LP.. everytime i get into his car he puts hybrid theory and turns up the volume and he even sings along to chester..., and my mom really doesnt mind.. but i remember the first time she heard a song in her car, it was place for my head and when the "you try to take the best of me, go away" part came she asked me "and why does he have to whisper it?" and just when i was about to reply chester´s screams came she she jumped in her seat with a "what the hell was that?" look on her face... lololol

AAAANNNDDD next saturday (NEXT SATURDAY WEEEEEE!!!) were going to the bamboozle, my dad and i, and hes really looking forward to see LP on sunday...

I dunno whether my parents like Linkin Park or not..
but for sure, my sisters kind of starting to hate them because I listen to their songs all the time~ xD
