Mannheim lost his leverage in trying to strangle his opponent, when he was slammed into the wall behind him. Then, while the assassin was pinned, his free hand pushed across Steel's face and chin -- pointing the android's face to one side...

He was still moving? And now what was he trying to do?!
Unsure of what the man was trying, Steel tried to press him against the wall even harder.

Then, Mannheim suddenly pulled his arm back across, snapping Steel's head around, trying to snap her neck....

Steel's head snapped around, and she let out a rather strained grunt. Pain. Very much pain. In the back of her neck. Alright, so turning her head around like that did make a little more sense after that. Supposed to break something in her neck. Must have been close to her programing of twisting someone's head completely off. That killed humans. So...was this supposed to kill them too? Or just knock them out? With as much pain as she'd received from that....and her growing anger, she really wanted to find out.
But...she had a much quicker solution for right now.
Setting about yet another one of her upgraded programs, she began detaching and moving a few selected wires within her own body. One main one moved and connected with her core energy, and the other moved and connected with the metallic plate that made up her second layer of shell. Which should electrify her entire being. The first layer of material that made up her skin should be enough to keep the guy from getting killed. But...it was just a guess. She'd never used electricity other than with her electric saber. And she never really got a good swipe in with Alex to know how much damage that caused.

(Aaaaaaaand Mannheim does the sixty hertz shuffle.)
Mannheim got jolted by electricity, his body's muscles jerking from the shock. As the assassin went out of commission, he was unable to drop due to the stream of electricity corsing through him.

A few small circles in the corner of Steel's vision informed her that her opponent was unable to physically engage any longer. She aborted her current program, cutting off the stream of energy and forcing her wires back to their proper places.
Unsure of how electricity really effected humans, or how long she'd have to regain the offensive, Steel twisted her way free of the man's grasp and took a nice jump away from him to be sure that she was out of his reach.

She smiled at Alex.
"Something......I really don't know. I'm not a hero...welll I mean, I saved someone and ended up with powers...Im not evil...but I don't think I'm a hero."
She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest.
"Do you happen to know where Flash shops....I really need something with better coverage. Training wouldn't help either."
"Your friend never really answered my question before...I asked if she was a hero. Are you?"

Alex grinned a bit herself. "I am. Her, I'm still not sure about. She certainly didn't start off as one. With Flash gone, I'm not sure how long her being nice will last."
She paused a moment, then glanced back at the girl behind the counter. Well...newspaper still. "Hey, you wouldn't happen to have any spare clothes around here? A coat at least?"
The edges of the paper rattled as a page was turned again. "In the back. Employee break room. Second door to the right. Spare uniforms." the girl replied.
Alex turned and nodded at the girl for her to follow. "Honestly, I'm not sure where to get costumes either. I was just going to go shop around and put something make-shift together." she replied. "Although...I know a place or two that might have something costume related."
That magic house they were just in might have something. And the cave Batman stays at might have a spare for her. But, she wasn't about to invade that place without asking. Although...she probably should go there and check and see if Batman had been there recently.
"How did your clothes end up like that anyway?"

As Mannheim dropped like a sack of potatoes, the door opens, and a very pale brunette wearing a bathrobe staring at the unconscious man and Steel, "Uhhhhhh, is there a particular reason you two just end a street fight at my door?"

Steel's defensive posture dropped as the woman appeared in the doorway. She stared blankly at her a moment, then down at the unconscious man.
"Um....it's kind of just where we landed." she replied, dusting herself off a bit and walking towards the man. She didn't really know how to respond to that.
Carefully, she bent down and let one of her programs check the man's condition. She didn't want him to attack her again if she carried him out.

Toni glanced between Steel and Mannheim, "Uhhhh... Should I call the police?"

Vital signs were weak, but they were there. Guy was alive, but physically out for the count. So...did this mean she knocked the guy out? She finally did it? Geeze. If she'd known it was that easy, she would have used it on Joker when she was trying to knock him out. Then she wouldn't have lost him.
Steel blinked, hearing the woman's question. "...um..."
...crap. She had no idea. She had no idea. What did Flash do with the bad guys he caught? Took them back to Arkham. Did this guy belong there. And...what were...police?
"Um...no. I'll take him to where he needs to go." Steel replied, picking the guy up by the back of his shirt. She aimed one arm at the man, and small but strong cable shot out of her wrist to wrap around the man's arms. She still didn't want to take any chances.

Toni Monetti just simply nodded, "Okay, fine. I'm going back inside now."
With that, the former Titan closed the door.

Steel glanced at the door briefly, then hefted the man onto her left shoulder and casually walked back to the stairwell. Aside from that akward little meeting, she felt...pretty good about herself right now. She now knew how to knock someone out quickly, she didn't kill anybody, and she'd caught a bad guy. She wasn't sure what to do with him now, but still...she caught him. Alex would probably know what to do with the man, she'd just drop him off with her.
Carefully walking down the stairwell, Steel activated one of her programs once again. Keeping part of her attention on walking back to the video store, a small screen popped up in the corner of her vision. A recording of the fight. She wanted to go over the fight as much as she could so that she could prevent future problems.
She grimaced a bit and rubbed her neck with her free hand. The pain had gone, but she could still feel that damage could have, and would have been done. There was a bit of an indent in her skin from the cord, but it hadn't cut through. Good thing. She didn't have access to Arcade's lab right now...she'd be walking around with a silver band around her neck if it had cut through.

Vivienne followed Alex into the break room were she found a large box marked employees. She dug through looking for her size.
" She seems alright...your friend seems alright. Little snippy, but alright."
She smiled to Alex before pulling a shirt out and holding it up to herself, slipping it on.
"My clothes get shredded everytime I run....Im guessing they can't hold up. They just get thin and shred. Tops not as fast as shorts or pants obviously. Shoes just melt off. That's a mess to clean up by the way...."
She sighed and pulled on a pair of so large pants.
"Cheaper to buy underwear and biker short or joggin shorts than jeans and such. Hence the reason I am half naked"
