"Guess I'd better get ready as well." Kayla said in reply. "I'll see you later!" she said with a small shy smile as she got up and walked to her room, shutting the door behind her. Stardust stayed with Siom, watching the people in the arena.
Kayla decided to change into her battle attire. She let out a somewhat nervous sigh. 'I hate fighting alone, but I guess there's no other choice.' she thought. Once she was done, she began to re-equip her sword, shield, bow and arrows.
*Darkness comes swiftly, the light slowly fades. What shall she do? She is unsure. Time grows short, yet is there really a cure?* Shadow Beast sent in riddle to Kayla. *Why do you say that you dirty son of a she-snake!?* Kayla sent back somewhat angrily. Shadow Beast gave no reply, but all that she heard was the echo of his laughter within her mind. Kayla's expression quickly changed from nervousness to a mix of fear and anger. She sat down in the chair in her room and just stared at the table in frustration, letting out a shaky sigh.
((The idea of Shadow Beast sending to Kayla in riddle is again taken from the comic book series Elf Quest. Just thought I'd let you all know! What do you suppose Shadow Beast is speaking of, hmm? *smiles mysteriously*))

Graff walks toward Roy, "well big guy, since the fights are over Im gonna go to my room and take a long bath, Im very tired... see you later guys..." Graff wave his hand as he start to go away.

Kayla took out the potion the healer gave her from her bag, and set it down on the table. She then proceeded to untie her choker, placing it next to the bottle. Carefully, she took a clean cloth and poured some of the bottle's contents onto the cloth and then placed the cloth on her curse mark. She winced a bit, feeling a slight sting as the potion began to take effect, if only temporarily. She then put the potion away along with the cloth, and retied her choker around the mark. Kayla then took out a blank piece of paper and began writing in Elven.
Tangin shar'tleg ulu isto, isto shar'tleg ulu tangin. Kiel quin venorik ilta dro l'lonna tarthe. Il vel'uss guy'ya lil' p'obon del elghinn zall uss tangi ssuule ilta vaen ssuu'hha.
Oloth chu kissa, lil' ssussun kiel lassen. Vel'bol zhal il xun? Il zhah naut zhaunus. Draeval knan bista, quin zhah gaer natha cure?
She made sure to include what Shadow Beast had told her about how he became what he was from the other night. As she finished, she heard a knock at the door. "Just a minute, I'll be right there." she replied.

Graff come to his room, open the door and after getting inside close it again "... im so tired.. and... dissappointed... I... I... dont know... what to do... I have been defeated before... but not like Roy beat me... and now after seeing him fighting with Shin Lu... he looks even more terrible..." Graff sits on his bed and then lays on it watching the ceiling.

Shin-lu opened her eyes to Ilyana kicking her, though with Ilyana's light frame it felt like she was being lightly tapped with a pillow. "Ilyana.."
"I want food." Ilyana huffed.
Shin-lu laughed a bit as she got up and stretched, making sure everything was still good before she picked Ilyana onto her back and walked to the kitchen to begin cooking.

((Sorry! School, work... you know, I'm beginning to feel that sound like a broken record... anywho, there is some good news in the fact that my computer has finally been relocated to a more convenient position. biggrin ))
Siom smiled brightly with calming reassurance as Kayla left. "Good bye for now , Kayla." Siom sat for awhile longer, one by one, the other gladiators gave their farewells and slid out of the arena. Siom playfully slid his fingers through the intertwined hairs on the back of the wolf's neck. "Well my fine furry friend, it appears it is only you and me." Siom stood and proceeded out to the center of the arena's field. The sun was now beginning to set; the sky was now shifting its brilliant shade of orange.
Par'il found his way to the arena near where he had been before. He found it odd that the noise had died down, but seeing that the arena had no one in it, it made sense as to why. Even the views had left the stands - despite obvious where they were as trash seemed to still linger in a strange and disgusting upheaval. Par'il was caught off guard by movement coming from one of the side doors of the arena field, followed by the sound of wood dragging on gravel. A carved training dummy was being shoved out into place on the field. The manikin was followed closely by Siom who had one hand firmly on it, and the other hand tightly coiled by two ropes each separately attached to a second and third dummy. Setting each in place on the field, he pulled his hammer from the fastening on his waist. Raising it up to grasp the hammer properly, he let the hammer fall. The impact echoed within the arena walls as dust plumed up from where the ground and hammer met. Par'il took his seat, waiting to see what exactly would take place.
Dark continued to run blindly through the forest. True, as an assassin, he did have to survive in the forest from time to time, but he certainly wasn't the kind to do particularly well in the untamed environment. Still, Adeva's safety was the only thing on his mind. Peering a ways ahead, though the small figure was hard to make out, Dark couldn't mistake the white hair trailing behind her.
((Sorry about changing the time of day, but judging by everyone's actions, it would seem about evening to early night.))

((I am dropping out of the story, im sorry but this last week has been so shitty for me. And I have lost the motivation to RP. Maybe when things start looking up and I feel like myself, I will come back. But until then, I won't be on gaia for awhile. Im sorry.))

Kayla stood up and walked to the door. "Who is it?" she asked. "Foluss vel'uss ssinssrigin dos ves mzilt, Moondance." the male voice replied in elven. Kayla opened the door to find a familiar face standing there. "Ilharn!" Kayla said with a happy smile as she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. Isaac hugged her back as he returned the smile. "It's good to see you again my dear child!" he said happily.
"Goodness, I wonder what's taking Kayla so long?" Mira questioned curiously, staying with Siom for a while.
((Translation: Isaac: "Someone who loves you very much, Moondance."
Kayla: "Father!"))

Shin-lu hummed happily as she was in the kitchen firing four stove tops. "Ahh this is relaxing. Wonder why I don't stop fighting and just cook...oh right, because fighting is fun too." She giggled as she began cooking stew, noodles, eggs, and rice.
Ilyana banged her spoon and fork on the counter. "Hungry.."

"It's good to see you too father!" Kayla replied with a smile. "What brings you here?" she asked curiously. "I came to watch you fight in your match." Isaac replied as he walked into the room. Kayla sat down behind him and sat on the bed while her father sat in the chair across from her. "I'm not sure when it starts, but I'm sure it won't be too much longer." Kayla said. Isaac noticed the artwork that Kayla drew. "I see you've been busy drawing like always." he said, looking at the different pictures. "Each one of these is mostly about what's been happening these past several days, except for the last one." Kayla replied, referring to the picture of Shadow Beast. "I can see that, but what's this one?" Isaac asked, reading the paper that had riddles written in elvish. Kayla let out a frustrated sigh, staring at the floor. "Shadow Beast keeps speaking in riddles, but I don't understand what he means." Kayla said. Isaac frowned a bit in concentration. "I believe he's talking about finding a way to cure your life-draining curse." he replied, looking back at Kayla. "I went to my friend Skylark's village to see the healer. She gave me a potion to ease the burning pain and said she'd send word when she could if she found a possible cure within the moon's next few turns." Kayla told him, looking up at her father with a mix of worry and fear in her eyes. "Come here, let me take a look at it." Isaac said. Kayla walked over to her father and untied her choker. Isaac carefully examined the mark. "How bad is it father?" Kayla asked, her voice a bit shaky. "The mark is already half way complete. Hopefully it won't get worse later on." Isaac replied in a serious tone. Kayla retied her choker around the mark. "So do I father." Kayla said.
((Goodness, seems like this rp is going a bit slow. I wonder why?))
