Gregor put a hand through his hair, and as snide as ever he responded.
"Well, I know for a fact he isn't a ghost, only a fool would think a ghost could touch a person. I would know, I've seen plenty of ghosts in my time. Other then that Darius is quite annoying, but he's not as big of a threat as those who have seen him would say. He attacks the weak and runs from the strong. He is a coward, plain and simple."Gregor scoffed and then yawned to show how much he didn't care about Darius.

stiffening Aran took offense of that comment, snaping her teeth together. " so, not only am i an idiot but im a weak one at that." turning away from them she simply walked to the main door, stoping and saying over her shoulder to Gregor. " ill have you list back to you by morning." then she was out the door and heading back for town.
Bain sighed, shakeing her head and looking at Gregor. " hell hath no furry like a woman scorned." kneeling down she pulled Reks's hat away from her eyes again, winking at the little girl as she continued. " its not wise to openly insult someone like that, the girl is confused about herself.. just try and give her some slack and youll see that im right."

Gregor shrugged and sighed.
"Let her fume, it isn't my place to worry about an odd human. I think I'll return to my office and finish some paper work. Good bye uncle."Gregor warped with a loud bang as he left.
"He's just like his father, arrogant to the end. He didn't insult her on purpose I'll have you know, he's that arrogant."Sergei chuckled and sat on the throne.

laughing she tapped her chin, looking after the girl Aran with an intrested look. " i pity him then, because sooner or later he will have to wake up." looking at Sergei she frowned. " when i touched her.. i felt her energy. it was odd, almost human but not quite.. what do you think she is?"
Reks, who was still proud of herself for talking about Spirit hunters, caught Bains dress and tugged on it. " she is a Chimera." it was simple to her, part of her mind easily finding that answer. a creature made by others, instead of born.. thats what she felt like anyway.

Sergei nodded to Reks and chuckled at Bain.
"No, sadly his arrogance is well deserved. He has skill and wit, a dangerous combination. As for the girl, I believe she was created by a rogue vampire unit to give strength to their members. Her blood contains a chemical that enhances the abilities of all vampires. I suspect there is a whole farm of them."Sergei sighed, he didn't like the idea of supercharged vampires.

horrified Bain looked after the girl, both pity and anger filling her. " what monster could use another in such a way.. the poor girl doesnt look old enough to fight let alone be used in such a way."

"It is the way of such things, the strong use the weak, but when the weak turn out to be strong there is chaos. That is why she must live, if not to be a symbol for what is possible."

"ill show them chaos." Bain muttered, her cheerful mood ruined. carfuly she leaned against the wall, watching as Reks went back to practiceing with her sword. thoughtfuly she instructed. " only swing upward if you have double blades, it leaves your side vonerable." moveing to Sergei's side she spoke lowly, so she wouldnt interupt Reks practice. " what i was saying earlier was, where do we go from this? i did not expect to meet up with you again, news traveled that you were away and i had to get Reks out of the demon realm. "

Sergei saw her trip up with her hand and called out.
"Reks, loosen your grip slightly. Also, an upward slash is a good finisher, remember side slash, side slash, upward strike."Sergei sighed and looked back at Bain.
"Yes, I was in Germany, with the clan rising again I went back to revive our old castle. Oddly enough our castle is more like a business now. One of our smartest men created a merchant business after the clan dissolved. He named it Latverious Corp in our honor and was leader of the clan until I came to restore order. Honestly I didn't expect to see you again either, what happened?"Sergei cocked an eyebrow and continued to look at her.

Reks corrected her pose, focuseing.
smileing Bain shruged. " i grew up. like i said, ten years is a long time.. and i had to finish my training in the demon realm."

Sergei knew something of age, at four hundred that tends to happen.
"Yes it is, you could say I did a bit of learning myself from the last time we met. I brought back my family name and became an ancient, far more then the Sergei back then would have expected."

"fate is a fickle thing." she mused, sitting on the floor and watching Reks with open affection. " the girl i was.. i wouldnt have seen myself with a child, let alone become a demon war generald. all i wanted then was to let my primitive side play." Bain sighed, resting her chin on her knees. " what a fool i was then.. luckily most of it was beaten out of me."

Sergei nodded and sighed.
"Yes, often times there is a lesson through pain. It is suffering that can enpower or break a person, however it is peace that weakens us, although is strength needed in times of peace. Such questions plague me."

standing Bain rubed the side of her neck, pauseing as she heard his tone. carfuly she placed a hand no his shoulder, smileing slightly. " Sergei your not weak, and peace is kept only so long as a strong gaurdian is there to keep the order and protect the people." leaveing him to think on her words she made her way to Reks's side, catching the girl around the waist playfuly and spinning her quickly.
Reks squealed with laughter, wiggleing to get free when Bain set her down. she had slide her sword through her belt, playing as if she were a bandit when Bain had caught her. giggleing she yelled " youll never take me alive!!" and tried harder to get free.

Sergei nodded and when Reks started to squirm he laughed. She was going to enjoy Issac when she was older, he could give her the ultimate challenge.
"Well, then I assign you an execution Reks, death by tickle."Sergei laughed and moved his hands as if he was tickling her with magic, and a second later he was doing just that.
