"Sure, I don't mind." Holly said as she took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. "You know, I would have expected you to have gone your seperate way, with how I left everyone so...empty of emotions. I mean, just look at Alex and Amelia, they just calmly got up and went to the roof. But, they've always been together. Lili went to the basement to be alone because she's never been in a group. And you, you've always been alone, I would have expected you to go somewhere alone. I've seen this happen before, people almost always act like their true selves after I do that." Holly mused, her eyes closed but her brows were creased.

Rei smiled and then cracked open one of his eyes to look at her. "Well, I don't like to be alone... It's just the way Life's been. I haven't really had a choice to be with other people until recently." He then closed his eyes again, and started to meditate, as his mind flashed to the past, and even glimpses to a possible future.

Holly sighed and slouched as she opened her eyes. "I can't concentrate." and in her head she added quietly, With you here. She looked at Rei as she rested her chin in her palm as her elbow rested on her knee. She was wordless.
Cliff finished his coffee and went downstairs. He saw Lili practicing and his eyebrows met in the center of his face. He sighed, grabbed his papers and things, and went upstairs to do his work.
"It's time for you to go find the others." A scientist said as he stood in the doorway of Roman, Remus, and now Drake's quarters.
"Yes, alright. We'l be on our way." Remus grinned as he glanced to Drake who had tiold him the scientist was coming to tell them so. Remus was already enjoying the power Drake held.

Rei laughed a little as he opened his eyes. "I can't concentrate either..." He said with a smirk. "I never could, Just wanted to..." He paused a moment, and then shook his head. "Never mind." He said with a sigh and a smile. He laid back, and placed his hands behind his head.

Holly felt that he wantyed to finish his sentence. She smiled and crawled closer to him, "Come on, what were you going to say? I can feel that it was something important. We can't have secrets- we're a group, a family. Secrets are baaad." She giggled as she poked him in the ribs playfully.

Rei smiled and laughed, rolling barely out of her reach. "Well, I just wanted to..." He swallowed hard and then looked back at her again. "I just wanted to sit with you really..." He said realizing how terribly lame that just sounded. He took a deep breath and then turned and smiled at her.

Holly's heart fluttered with all the strong feelings she was getting from him. She nearly gasped at how sudden it was. She covered her surprise with a smile and seh blushed, "I was kind of hoping you'd come, actually. I like being with you."

Rei smiled. "I like being around you too." He said before he closed his eyes a little. The morning sun felt good on his fur. Even though he hated his furry form, It was comfortable to be back to "normal". He laughed at the word. He then turned to her and smiled. "So, Is there anything you've got on your mind?" He asked, hoping to spark a conversation

Holly frowned and shook her head, "Let's not talk about those kinds of things." She sighed and turned her face towards the sun. "I don't really remember the last time I had the chance to enjoy the sun...Relax even." She laid down next to Rei, closing her eyes.

Alekssander sat on the edge of the roof, his feet dangling off. He was enjoying the sun and as he looked out over the city. He couldn't see Holly or Rei, he figured they must be on the opposite side of the house. 'I wonder how those two are doing...' he thought to himself. 'And speaking of relationships...' he looked over to his right, where Amelia sat close to him.
She too was relaxing in the sun's warming light. 'Too bad I can't control sunlight,' she thought to herself. 'I'd make it sunny all the time...' She sighed heavily and leaned her head against Alekssander's shoulder, but he didn't say anything. Finding his silence comforting, she closed her eyes and enjoyed it.

The group walked through the armory and grabbed a few guns and knives, not suer if they really needed them. Just before they were going to leave a scientist came up to them and said, "The experiment just after him," he pointed to Drake, "number 307, she has more abilities than we orginally gave her and they should have matured by now if they didn't kill her...So beware."
"I'm sure I can handle it." Roman said with a grin as he thumpde his chest.
"No, your regeneration abilities can not fight off her power...She can harm you, even kill you." The scientist warned.
"Sure sure, just get out of our way- were ready to hunt." Roman barked.
The scientist moved out of their way and Remus chuckled.

After training for a solid chunk of time, Lili set the mattress back on the frame and reassembled the cot. However good the workout was, she still needed a shower from it. Going upstairs, she asked Ivy if there was one. Ivy pointed upstairs. Thanking her, Lili ran upstairs to get cleaned up.

Ivy dried her hands on a dishtowel and sat down next to Cliff at the table as he worked. "Cliff, can I speak with you?"
"Sure, Ivy, what is it?" Cliff said with a grin as he put down his pen, took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes.
"I...I think we should be heading back to our town soon. I know we can be of use here, but what about my people? There's more of them...And I miss my family. I think when and if we get Drake back we should start to think seriously about heading back." Ivy spoke very quietly as she leaned in close to him.
Cliff leaned back and looked over Ivy's face thouroughly. He sighed and put his glasses back on, "Ivy, I can take you back whenever you need me too, but...I feel like if these people need me. They need an extra medical brain. I know your people need me, but they don't need me as much as they need you." He touched her hair softly. "I'll visit and sent you some things when you need it. And if you absolutely need me, I'll be there, but...I've been there for Holly since she first became free, and I've figured out that I can't leave her alone without her getting hurt. She nearly died the last time I tried to leave. I'm sorry."
Ivy looked down at her hands then back up to Cliff with soft and teary eyes, "I understand."
Holly sat up and wipped away the tears she was now crying. She could feel the heavy emotions coming from inside the house, and depite the tears, they made her smile. She laughed at herself and smiled at how the two had come to a compromise so easily.

Letting out a deep breath, Lili slowly lowered herself into the tub. It was such a good feeling. The warmness, the soap, the fact that she was finally able to get clean...
The last time she had bathed, it was in a freezing freshwater stream in the middle of the woods. The bath she was taking now was a welcome change.

Feeling Amelia's head press against his shoulder, Alekssander felt a warm sense of content. But it also gave him an idea. "Hey Amelia," he started, a smile coming across his face. "Wanna fly? We haven't gotten the chance to in so long..." His last sentence ended on a wistful note, as if this had been something he had been longing to do for awhile.
Excitement rushed over Amelia. Grinning, she looked up at him. "I'd love to." True, she too had been waiting for the day she would experience this with Alekssander. He wasted no time, for as soon as she had said yes, he was already taking off his shirt.
