He edited your post in the quote, changing things in the Italian bit.

Ciao, mi chiamo Maggie. Come stai?

Is what he changed the first bit.

Vorrei would work...

But I think one can also say:

Mi piacerebbe(ro)...

It/they please(s) me.

The cities I am going to are Roma, Milano, Venice ,Florence ,and Pompeii.
Also If anyone can answer what are some similarites of French and Italian.
sounds/words
Grazie mille

Well, there are a few similarities like 'voudrais-vorrei', 'boir-bere', 'manger-mangiare' or 'dire-dire', but be careful with verbs and grammar, they are quite different...
Anyway, if you want to know some 'key-sentences' just ask, I'llbe glad to help smile
And as an art-loving Italian I can tell you: you'll fall in love with Venice!
...and with Florence!
...and with Roma!
...and Pompeii! :p No, seriously, you chose the best cities 3nodding

Just stay away from Napoli and the suburbs, there are a few problems there now, it's not safe.. and that's a shame because it's such a nice place, but it's completely abandoned by the Government scream

How is the weather in April?
Che tempo fa aprile?

Is that right?

If a price in a store came out to lets say 2,50 what would that price be in Italian?

2.50 what?

Dollars?

If in dollars, 1.69 Euros...

They don't use lire anymore (I think...)

If it were 2.50 in Euro. What would that number be in Itailain.

Che tempo fa ad/in Aprile. You can use both smile
Usually price tags are 2,50 or 2.50, it depends, but the sense is that...

Ciao! Come state voi? Mi chiamo Giovanni (joh-VAH-nee), ma voi potete chiamarmi Gio (Joh, not Jee-oh) o semplicemente "G."
Per vostra informazione, tutti e due dei miei padri sono d'Italia. Mia famiglia è orgoglioso essere Italiano. Lo sono anche.

since I'm italian, let me show you the best way to say that ^___^

<< che gusto di gelato >> ------> perfect

<< che chiunque >> --------> it's not grammatically correct, you'd better omit it

<< suggerire >> ---------> it's the right verb, but it's the infinitive form. the best would be mi suggerite, which means "you suggest me"

<< per quando vado in Italia >> ----------> PERFECT!

<< sono apprendimento italiano meglio >> -------> sto apprendendo meglio l'italiano, which means "I'm learning italian better"

so the best would be:

che gusto di gelato mi suggerite per quando vado in italia? sto apprendendo meglio l'italiano.

hope it will be useful ^__^
