After waiting awhile, Violet looked at the sky with confusion. 'Maybe she got lost...' A ripple of terror went through her as she thought of having to go in there alone. Illusion was not the most stable from what she saw of her last encounter with her. 'Well... it's going to have to get done someday... besides Shina and Cecil were already on their way to tell water.' She sighed and turned to walk in the palace gates. Once of the guards men stepped out in front of her to block her entry into the palace. "No one may go past this point, so I suggest you turn around." He was huge, but she was not going to let that intimidate her. Besides, if it came to it she could catch him on fire, or at least burn him. The air up here was thin so what ever she did wouldn't last very long. "My name is Violet, I'm the Princess of Fire and I need to speak with Princess Illusion." Her voice came out quite confident which surprised her. The guards face shown confusion, and then recognition as he realized who he was talking to. "Uh yes... right this way..." He then turned and began to lead her into the palace.

A mental sigh flew through Zig's mind as she finished the apple. It seemed a defense was all that was available to them at the moment, even if it wasn't especially interesting or helpful. But more problematic was their lack of allies. This war would be much harder without them.

After a few short minutes of walking they entered a room with a large table, and seated at it was Illusion and 3 others. 'Great, more Air Elementalists... and probably the same ones who attacked my nation earlier.' They seemed to be in the middle of something very important so she hoped they were not mad by her intrusion. Suddenly the guard spoke up in a loud voice that made her jump. "Queen Illusion. The Princess of Fire has come here to speak with you and request's that you listen." He then stepped back out of the way and shuffled over towards the wall to leave her stranded out in front of everyone. 'Thanks...' She made a mental note to destroy him if she ever saw him again. She forced her eyes to lock with Illusion's hoping she could get the point across. "I'm sorry to intrude, but I would like to speak with you on regards of you pulling out of the Union. My nation is pulling out as we speak, and we do not feel that Colm is doing a good enough job as King." She spoke slowly, but still tried to maintain some sort of confidence in her own words.

Moriarty looked on with intrigue as the woman of fire entered, and her words nearly drove him into hysterics. His evil, high pitched laughter rang out for a few seconds before he abruptly cut it short. "My sentiments exactly!" He exclaimed, and then quickly cooled down, looking over to Illusion for her response.

Illusion was initially ticked that for starters Violet had gotten into the castle without her being aware of, he's fired. And secondly that she was for once, a little shocked. "So I take it that you've gotten tired of his stupidity aswell?" She tried to focus her thoughts, looking for anything that this visit could also mean. "I also take it that you may be wanting to negotiate your mountain range back? And don't think of doing anything. You're out numbered and I will not put up with any more tricks." She motioned for Zig, as well as the others in the room to be alert incase there were more from fire coming.

A wide grin spread across Moriarty's face, an indicator of his thoughts. He coolly cupped his hands together in front of his face and silently stared at the princess of fire. His dark eyes smouldered as he awaited her response.

Katczinski looked over to his brother, and rolled his eyes with a silent sigh, before disappearing from view. He casually walked over behind the princess of fire, leaning against the frame of the door to the exit. He did not know if he would attempt to stop her if she would run, but he knew deep down that question would need not be answered.

Violet felt cornered when the others were signaled to be on guard at her entrance. 'Can't let that scare me...' She then cleared her throat and began speaking. "Honestly Illusion, you think I would try something being all by myself and having the air being so thin up here that a fire wouldn't really last all that long?" She paused and shook her head, then moved on to the next question. "Yes I've gotten sick of his stupidity... I had a feeling this whole time he would mess up but I didn't feel like stepping in till now cause if he was removed from power, another prince or princess would be put in place..." 'How am I supposed to get around the fact that the Queen is alive!? I don't really think I can, but whether they are to be trusted with this information or not is a completely different story...'

Zig raised a surprised eyebrow at the fire princess' entrance which turned into a slight smile as Violet voiced her intention to leave the union. Now this could work to our advantage... The girl mused, before listening to Illusion. In response to the princess' motion she moved her feet so she could stand easily and kept her hands in a preparatory position. It wouldn't take her long to begin an air crafting now. She continued to listen intently to Violet's words, but remained silent herself, waiting for the next events to unfold.

"So you decided to wait just because you didn't want to be in line for the throne?!" She sounded incredulous. "You let Colm manipulate all of us when you had suspicions because you didn't want to rule a country?" She fell silent and let the silence grow uncomfortable before she spoke again. "I would be a fool to trust you now Princess Violet, but those are my own feelings. If your nation is leaving the union then in a way, we are on the same side. However, I should have you know now that I am not involving my country in treaties of any sort, and I will not release your land aswell."

Mel peeked at them from around the corner. This was getting good. "Shhh! Don't let them know we're here." Mel whispered to Kel who was being noisy and annoying. She then moved her attention back to Illusion, Princess Violet, and Zig. "What is the Princess of Fire doing here?" Mel whispered, not really expecting an answer. She knew she shouldn't spy but didn't really care.

Kel listened with Mel. "Mel, this isn't a very good idea." She said quietly hoping Mel would stop but instead just got a big shh! Kel was curious about why the Fire Princess was here. She decided that it wouldn't hurt to peek.

A tall figured wrapped in very opaque and dark clothing walked through the doorway. You almost don't notice him as he walked through, actually, if it wasn't for the movement and sound of the door opening, you would never have known he was there.

"I apologize for my absence, Illusion," A familiar voice spoke out from under the black hood of a cloak. "I am here to serve this nation, if you will allow me to that is." His arms come up and grab the edges of his hood, showing Tassen's human face, now looking to be that of a teenager.

His eyes drifted from Illusion over to Violet, the gold eyes seemed to pierce into her, like it was telling her that he knew she wasn't telling the whole truth. "I also apologize if I am interrupting something here."

"Tassen!" For a moment some of her fustration and anger was gone as she saw one of her oldest friends, as well as one of noble birth, was back. "Where have you been all this time?" But then she reflected on his last statement. "Princess Violet of Fire is here to speak to us about the situation with Colm and Water."

Violet glared at Illusion in frustration. 'You know what, I'll just tell her the rest since she's decided not to trust me anyway.' She then proceeded to speak ignoring the fact that someone else had entered the room. "Anyway, as I was saying, another prince or princess would be put in place, until now. Illusion, Queen Ashe is alive, and you can believe me or not, I don't care." She then turned to leave out of anger no longer wanting to put up with the ridicule anymore. Before she made it to the doorway she said a few last words to let them linger. "And don't say it's completely my fault he's still in power. You didn't want the position as much as I, but at least I'm doing something about it." With that said she turned back around and ran deep within the castle trying to find the exit.

Both Moriarty and Katczinski chuckled as Violet ran off, but as usual no Kat made no sound. Kat, still invisible, sunk down to a sitting position and he listened on. His gaze shifted momentarily to the two twins peeking in on their proceedings, and he considered forcing them into the open, but decided against it.

Moriarty looked over to Tassen, and his eyes shot once over towards Kat when he noticed a little disturbance in his mood, but he only shook his head and straightened up to listen to the newcomer. "There was nothing to be interrupted." He said, folding his arms across his chest. "She came here to tell us, for the most part, things we already knew." He looked over to illusion next. "What's your take on this whole 'Queen Ashe' bit?"
