Ki could keep up with the orb's speed, since he had transformed into his wolf form. As he followed, he wished he had been here earlier instead of going to the Shadow Clan.

"Ah, so you are related to the wolves in the Earth Clan?" Ayumu asked, not slowing his pace. He had only met wolf demons who lived in the Earth Clan and no where else. Maybe they had populated more of the continent during the centuries.

Zeph dropped Tenzuki's body into the pile, watching it burn and crumble into pieces. It was something that even he had never seen happen in Hell, probably because it was rare for someone to have come directly into Hell with a body not suited for it. He didn't dare to change back to his human form and find out if that was true. What he needed to do now was get away from Lumehiel and get to the portal so he could get back to the other side.

((several posts ago. zeph and tenzuki came out from the hole that started in the river clan and it dumped them into hell.))
Of course, Ki had his attention set on the task that lay before them rather than conversing about other things. Once they were around the buildings, it was clear where the portal was even if they still were some distance away from it, "See that? That is the thing that has brought the demons here, and has corrupted this land."

Ki made no attention towards his surroundings. The energy and power from the portal, or from the other sides, had attracted Ki's attention more than anything.
He was oblivious to Jin's presence in it too.
As soon as they are nearing the destination, Ki began to slow down and questions came into his mind.
Why such a thing? For what purpose? Do I even have enough will to take it down?
"Surely you knew who have asked you to bring me here?"

When they were near, Ayumu slowed down as well and now transformed back into a human form, "I do not recall him stating his name."

Ki finally came to a stop and his form changed of that into a half-human/half-wolf. He couldn't being on guard, now especially when the portal gave off such premonition presence.
"Now that you have brought me here.." Ki's flute was in his hand, now transforming into a sword. "...will there be any side effects if I were to take it down now?"

Ayumu had faith that Jin had done his part of the job, however, there was still some doubt in the outcome, "I do not know...there is always the chance that things can go for the worst. But, I think we do not have a lot of options with this. We can allow the demons to destroy this world, or we can risk the possible consequences of closing the portal. I much prefer the latter, as I am sure that you feel the same." Ayumu looked at Ki. He must have been a wolf demon of some sort since the energies seem to have almost little effect on him at the moment.

Jin had already become a barrier on the otherside. But the limitation of being able to hold off the demons and withstanding the destroying of portal was unknown at the moment.
"Hurry..."

Ki's heart began to beat in an irregular course. He wasn't sure what caused it, but if something needs to be done, it had to be done soon.
He has already started to summon for the Chains. "And, are you not going in?"

Zeph was able to get out of previous territory, moving into the next. Luckily he knew a few shortcuts around the place. Small doors, nestled in the most inconspicuous of spots that allowed demons to travel to different areas of hell within a matter of minutes, but only a few demons knew about them. When he was a resident in hell, he had the habit of eavesdropping on conversations, and thus he learned a lot about what was going on around him. He was even more lucky to have found the door with the busted frame, which allowed it to swing open and closed without having to turn the knob.
Zeph spoke the required enchantment, and the noise of shifting gears and whirring came from the other side of the door. And without hesitation, he moved quickly through the door and appeared out on the other side through a small hole that appeared near the portal, and in an instant the hole disappeared leaving things as they were. Six metal claws flew towards the portal, and then they clanked against something hard ((aka jin 939)) that was blocking the way, then slid to the ground. Even 'that' hurt Zeph, "Ugh....What's going on??"
Once again, the six claws rose and slowly carried forward to find the barrier, and then they touched it, "Wow...I'm screwed...How do I get through this thing?"
He was thinking about using another door to get to the other side, but he knew that the closest one from that point was at least a half hour away, and even he wasn't sure if that would work at getting him beyond the barrier.

Zeph stopped. He had never once in his life seen a talking barrier, "Eh? You do know that's the only way to get out of Hell, right?" What he said was only partially true. The portal was the most convenient way out of Hell. Zeph had traveled out of Hell before without the portal, but that was more by chance than anything, and he wasn't 'that' willing to let go of his memories and start off on a blank slate again. If there were other doors, he was sure that they would be difficult to find. Whichever method he tried to use, they would certainly take a long time to get to.
Would it be possible to convince Jin otherwise? Or maybe Jin wasn't telling the truth, he thought. The claws clanked together and molded into the usual broad sword, glowing blue all over and jabbed himself into the ground, propping himself straight up, "Well then, I hope you don't mind if I stay for a while."
At this rate, he didn't mind remaining in the area for a few minutes to see what Jin would do, and during that time if nothing had happened, he would probably rush to the closest door to get to the other side of Jin's barrier just to use the portal, hoping that he would have luck during that time. He just wasn't left with any favorable options, but at least he tried to stick with the most favorable one first before trying the next.
Zeph started to hum a tune to help pass the time, rocking side to side with the tempo of the melody. He knew he must have looked silly for doing it, but at least it helped to keep him occupied.

Jin observed him for a moment, before realising that he's not a spirit. "What are you doing in here? Shouldn't you at least find another way out?"

"Well it doesn't hurt to hope a little. I was thinking you'd pop or something so I can get to the other side," Zeph mused, slanting sideways now after having parted the dirt enough where it held him in that position, "Honestly, a doorway isn't easy to come by in these parts. The nearest one is more than a half hour away, and even then I would use it to get access to this portal. If there 'are' any other doorways that get to the other world, then I would have upped and used one of them already. And the other methods...I rather not use..."
He hopped out, now standing on the point of the blade, "So I guess you aren't going to back down anytime soon? That's a bummer..."
