Ashe growled as an answer to Lin's question. "It seems to be above us." She lifted her head to peek through the trees. "I see someone...No take that back. I see a demon, but he's just hovering there." She looked back at Lin. "What now?"

"A demon, just hovering there? If he is just hovering there, he either can't see us, has no intention of hurting us, or is working for Shiango, and plans to attack us when we believe that he won't. I'd say we take a closer look." Lin grinned, and then leapt into a near by tree. She climbed up to the very top of the large tree, and soon poked her head out from amongst the leaves. She glanced at the demon for a time. "Hey, you there! What business do you have here. Are you here to hunt, or are you just lost and looking for something?" As she waited for a reply, she slowly took her sword out, and prepared an ice spell just in case he attacked.

[Been there, had/have that.]
Mike had seen the dragon stick it head out of the trees. He waited for it's next move, which would in turn seal its fate. But it didn't attack, so therefore he would not strike. There was no reason for senseless killing. As he heard shuffling in the trees, he was ready to see who was going to pop up next. To his surprise, a young girl poked her head out of the branches. Mike smiled a little bit. He had been prepared for a brawl, when in reality, a young girl was one of his opponents.
As she called out to him, Mike listened to her voice. It wasn't threatening, but as he saw the gleam of her sword, he realized she was prepared for him to strike. He decided what to do for a moment before swooping forward and landing on the treetop a few feet away.
"I mean you no harm," he spoke softly, "I was just tracking a strange aura and came across your group." Still though, she had her sword drawn, and with Mike being a demon, he would be a prime target to anyone. "Now if I may ask you something, please put your sword away and tell me who you are." Mike didn't show any signs of wanting to attack, but he cracked the bones in his right hand, just incase he needed to parry a blow.

[I get it all too often, but mostly because I'm trying to get my post length up, and it gets really hard once in a while.] ---- Flint, who had been looking and couldn't see a thing until now. He practically jumped when he spoke. "Huh, mean us no harm my foot, you scared me half to death." he said in mock annoyance, using a spell to rise to eye height with the man. And it hit him. This guy didn't feel right. Flint was getting the same vibes that he got when that guy from earlier, whatever that creep's name was. He had a feeling this man was evil. Flint put one hand behind his back, curled up as if holding a round object. He concentrated faintly on getting some energy into his fingertips, so that if he needed to, he could create enough energy to at least bug the guy a bit. With his other hand, the left, he extended it. "Flint Locke, resident illusion mage." he introduced himself as. "Ex-thief as well, if it interests you." For some reason, Flint felt no reason that he had to lie. Anything he said wouldn't come back to haunt him.

Ashe watched the man with a cautious eye. She didn't trust him yet, but she didn't want to fight him. Especially since she was wounded and didn't want to open them. She raised her head to the daemon and said curtly, "Ashe."

Sorrow was lost in her music, playing to her hearts content, until she heard the word demon. She hit a note horribly wrong and looked up to the sky in fear. She tucked the strap over her back and carefully watched him floating up in the sky. She pushed her fingers together and started to back up toward the rock she once hid behind.
“I um… don’t feel safe right now. I think I’m going to take a walk.”
She started to turn and ran for a bit into the forest away from the demon and hid behind a tree stump. She looked around and placed her hands in her pockets holding the dark orb. She looked at it and wondered what it did. She pulled her lute out in front of her and played a small song. It was a summoning song; this summoning summed a small book before her. She picked it up and dusted it off. She hadn’t looked at it in ages.
She opened it carefully and turned a few of the pages slowly to herself. She found the page that she was looking for. The page read ‘The dangers of demons.’ She looked at and kept reading. For some reason she was ghastly afraid of them, and for good reason. Angels and Demons are bitter rivals. And even those who become Fallen still hold onto this fear and hatred of demons.

Lin listened silently to what the demon said, and she put away her sword, but left it in its sheath loosely just in case he decided to attack anyway. He hand remained on the hilt of her sword as she spoke. "If what you sat is true, then you may not be a threat. Just know this though, you tread on a thin thread, and if you even do anything that makes it appear you will attack, then we will fight you."
She jumped down from the tree top, and landed gracefully on the ground below. "My name is Lady Liniathe Lavich by the way. My home used to be Windshire manor, but unfortunately, my people were killed by something, or someone."

"Mmm, I will remember that." Mike said, slowly decending from the tree. "I am Nero Angelo, a demon yes, but one with a heart of justice." Mike folded his wings in and black flames slowly engulfed his body, making him no longer visible through the flames. As the flames died down, he was once again half elven. His long brown hair fell to the center of his back in a ponytail, and his sword hung on a belt. He was a handsome devil like this, [no pun intended] and was less threatening.
"But I would perfer it if you call me 'Mike'. This was my name before I was a demon, along with this body." His voice was more normal like this, and less scary and demonic, but still he sounded the same. He looked around at everyone, pointing to them as he said their names. "Flint, Liniathe, Ashe. I could have sworn I had originally sensed four people here." Mike looked around, but to no avail. Whoever the fourth person was, they were gone now.

"There is a fourth person, though I believe she is hiding again." Lin said slowly, and silently. She still sensed sorrow near by, even if the half elf, demon male did not. She didn't know where she was however, and wasn't interested in trying to find out. "I guess you are of my race, even if it is half, and you have become demonic."

"Hell can do an amazing thing to someone with a strong will and dark heart." Mike said painfully, "Especially when that someone remembers nothing of his past." Mike scanned his surroundings for any sign of a person. The soft ground showed a footprint leading deeper into the forest, but there weren't enough to follow. He looked at the other members and gave them all a slight smile. "Mind if I ask why you are all traveling through these woods?"

"We are travelling to the human capital, and we are nearly there. We are going through here because it is the fastest way, and we don't have any time to waste." She looked at the sky. "We had best get moving, we can't allow Shiango to get to the human capital and destroy it, or attack, beore we are there to help, and get the mission from their king." Lin quickly walked over to the horse Caravan, and jumped on to Mists back. She began to continue through the forest, but only slowly so that the others could catch up.

Ashe eyed the demon as he changed into a half-elf form. She didn't know what to make of him so she watched curiously. When he mentioned lost memories, her mind jumped to Sorrow. He too has no memory of his life before...But she is a Fallen, he a Demon. Lin had jumped up on to Mist's back when Ashe realized her mind had wandered. She shook herself, tested her wounds, winced at the pain, and made her way slowly through the trees. Her body, small for her kind but still larger than the trail, bent the trees and amassed an array of leaves and twigs all down her back.

"Shin...ango." Mike said quietly. That name, something about it struck him. He felt rage inside, and with that emotion, he figured a memory was behind it. "Well then, I too will join you. Anything to help those in need of saving." Mike began to follow the group, standing next to Ashe. Suddenly, her wing hit a weak branch and it came crashing down. Mike leaped out of the way just in time to avoid impalement. Glad my skills are still sharp. Mike decided to go a little faster, and walked next to Lin. He didn't have to worry about the horse knocking trees over on him.
Before Mike got too far ahead, he turned back. If there was a fourth member, where were they? They hadn't come out of hiding yet, and Mike was worried that something had happened to them.

Sorrow looked up from the writing she was looking at have lost track of time and soon realized the others were probably waiting for her, or had gone up ahead. She picked up her lute and played the complex cord again, the writing vanishing into the air. She stood up and tucked the lute over her shoulder. She looked down at her hand and she had noticed it was bleeding. She was even more puzzled by the way the stream of blood was not falling down but simply going up into her gray jumpsuit. She didn’t have to time to think about it as she had to catch up to the others. She walked a little ways north past a few trees. She could see a few branches falling up ahead falling down. She started to sprint back through the trees to where they were falling. She saw the others up head but there was no sight of the demon Lin and Ashe had spoke of earlier. She walked up only a few feet away, sticking her head out of the clearning, not seeing the demon only that of a half elf. She slowly walked up to the others only to trip on a rock and fall making a loud thud. She stood up as the others had began to turn around. She looked up at them seeing the half elfs face and began to blush.
I don’t know where that demon went, but this guy is way cuter than Usrah.
She went into a daydream for a second and then slowly went back to reality as she noticed that Ashe had been injured. She stood up looking at the half elf male in the corner of her eye while slowly walking over to Ashe.
“Here… um… let me heal you. It might sting a little.”
Sorrow walked over to Ashe and put her hands up against one of her injuries and her hands began to glow green. After she was finished with that second she moved on till Ashe was fully back to health and looked a bit exhausted. She looked at her own hand noticing it was still bleeding and put behind her back.
“So um… I havn’t seen you around before. I’m.. ugh… Sorrow.”
She looked away from Mike her heart beating rapidly and started looking at her hand again facing away from everyone. It was strange it was almost as if the armor she was wearing was feeding off her blood. It didn’t hurt much and she quickly closed the wound with her other hand and then turned back around.
“You must of scared that demon off. And you’re so dreamy.. ur… um.. I mean thanks.”
