Yeah, it rained today.
But it hasn't rained before that. It has been great weather. But I can't enjoy it because I'm stuck inside with my cold.
I'm working on my book. I'm going to try and finish by Christmas. I'm hoping for at least 200 pages. 300 at most.

@Reese - *glomps* heart Hehe, at least you guys didn't have to run after all. xd Today I was plagued by sneezing and stuffy nose as well...I took some non-drowsy Claritin, but I felt kinda drowsy afterward. Maybe it was because of the warm weather? Ooh, that's cool. What are you planning to do with your book once you complete it? razz
@Jon - I actually like the items...I wish I had gotten a sealed beforehand. I know they are rip offs of older donation items, but hey, they are the only versions I can afford. xd I certainly don't have anything with wings...and I'll never be able to afford the Devil Tail. I really like the Angelbow because of the wings-like position (no surprise I suppose)....I guess I like the Chain as well because of its association with ninjas. If I had the ninja hb and the chain, my ninja ensemble can be complete! ^^

First I'll read it and edit it, then I'll give it to my GT instructor, who then tell me what I should do next. If it's good enough, I know a publisher who might print it.

That sounds really awesome. I seldom hear of anybody having the chance of being published. If you do get published, tell us the title of the book so we can all enjoy it. ^^

The Quest of Voluptuous Jon (Nitemare Mini Wings) I bet your book is great Reese! They do look cool, but the price is higher than the usual donation items. 11K already. they definetely are rip offs but, it will make a lot of people happy to finally have some of the stuff, especially if you cannot get the extremely expensive originals.

So far I've got about six pages written.
I'm not even going to worry about a title, yet. My main character doesn't even have a name! xd
But I'll be sure to tell you if it gets anywhere.
I doubt it will. Most likely, I'll read it, decide it's crap, and burn it.

Wow, so many writers in our midst. ^^ I just don't have the time to set time aside to write anymore. Now that I'm off school I already consider myself lucky to have time to read for pleasure again (not just for school). Man, my life mostly consists of school and work. xd And sleep of course. razz

I would think that you would need to name your character before starting to write...shucks, I did character profiles for all of my main characters before starting, and these profiles are so complete that they even include things like favorite food/drink. You kind of need to get to know your characters before you start to try to force them to do things...though I don't know; it may be different for me or something.
Hey, I've noticed that there's no Divination class, something I think I'd like to take, though I really have no interest in fortune telling and believe that, at least in the Muggle world, it's a load of rubbish. Still, it would be interesting. I've been debating with myself whether or not to ask KT if I could possibly teach the class for a term or so, since she's the recorded, official teacher, but I don't know. It sounds sort of...stuffy, I guess, to PM someone asking to teach their post, even if it is a "make-believe" one. What do you think? Should I give it a try?

Go ahead. She isn't teaching that anymore, I think, because she got overburdened.

I can't actually burn it, I have no burning rights. You need them to even have a fireplace around here.
My Gifted Instructor will probably try to save it, even if she has to photocopy every single page.

Jon's right, don't burn it Reese, that is, if there's an opportunity to do so! Who knows, maybe one day in the future you'll come across it again, and you'll be capable of turning it into a bestseller. razz Why let all that effort go to waste?
