((Sorry my hard drive crashed. Using someone elses computer till I get mine fixed hopfully this thurs or fri))
Inari woke up from some loud screaming out of the mansion. The boy rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand still very sleepy. He hadn't been getting much sleep with the storm, a bit relieved that it had finnaly stoped. his ears pinned down when he heard the blood thirsty howls of the wolves, quickly looking around in his masters room. "Mmmmaster?" The neko boy didn't know that Murakai was out of the mansion to greet some guests, but Inari knew not to go outside the mansion during the night. His white tail curled around him, hoping that his master was alright and that he was going to come back soon...real soon.

Edward caught up to the carriage quickly enough. He ignored the wolves, they could go ******** themselves for all he cared, and he found Demetria sitting next to a dead driver. Great, just great. "Demetria. You want to come on down? Murakai's a jackass you know." Edward just had to add the jackass comment, he was mad at Murakai and insulting him when a bunch of his wolves where around just made him feel better. 'I hate your guts Murakai, hate them big.' Edward thought, though that wasn't all he was thinking, he had a bunch of insults to throw at Murakai if the chances ever came up. Good timing and good insults, that's what Edward had.

Demetria slipped down from the carriage seat and straight into a hug. She didn't want Lord Edward to feel that way, Murakai had protected her after all. Granted, she didn't have the whole story, so what had happened there might have been irrelavent. As she hug Edward she felt safe once again, even though the wolves would have had that effect if she wasn't worried about them turning on her. She slipped back and out of the hug, holding both of Edward's hands. Her chin lifted up to look in his eyes, and her's smiled at him. "Everything will be alright, Edward. I promise." she said, the tone in her voice was almost as if she knew this for certain. Tresses of her hair fell infront of her eye, which would have bugged her normally. Right now, she didn't care. She wanted Lord Edward to cheer up a little bit and make the most of this trip, even though that would be a challenge by the looks of it.

Edward had hugged her back for the brief moment she was close enough for him to, and looked down at her when she backed off. He wished he could take her words to heart and actually believe them, but it wasn't something a human could promise to him with this kind of situation. He sighed and glanced at the wolves then back to Demetria, "You're alright though, right?" he asked, more worried about her then Murakai and them all that were probably hanging back and waiting for him to bring Demetria and himself back. He wasn't asking just physically fine here though, mentally as well, and Demetria should know that, he had explained it enough times. He brushed her hair out of her eyes for her, he knew she didn't like it like that.

Demetria slipped back into a hug, something she found quite comforting at the moment. "I am perfectly fine. In both senses." she said with a slight teasing tone in her voice. She understood the Edward ment well, and her hugging him immediately probably hadn't been very reassuring. She loved being able to hug Edward, she hadn't in a while, just realizing this. "So are we going to have to catch up with the others?" she asked, trying to switch his focus a bit. She shivered a bit as a still dampened spot of her shirt laid flat against her back.

Oh good, she was fine. Perfectly fine. Edward sighed again and smiled lightly, holding her tightly for a second before letting her go. This second hug had been reassuring, the first one, not so much, even though he had enjoy it. He felt her shiver and frowned, she didn't need more of a cold then she already had, but there wasn't much he could do about it now. Demetria's focus change worked and Edward nodded, "We should, but try not to give him anymore of a reason to maybe want you more then your appearance will surely do already, ok?" He said, referring to Murakai. No venom when he said it this time though, visibly hating him would just make him happier.

The black wolves watched what passed between. There red eyes takeing in everything. They soon turned and faded away into the darkness.
Murakai smiled as He, Alice, and Douglas walked. He had not seem much through the eyes of his wolves but had seen enough to satisfy him. And he was satisfied. Murakai diverted his path and said, "Alice, Douglas. Please continue on ot the manse. I have something I must sttend to.... I promised a young man at this inn a job and I wouldnt want to defer him that oportunity." Murakai aproached the inn he spoke of and Alice looked on, sadness in her eye. Another kid to feed the poison kitchens... damn Murakai. Was his hunger for power so great that he continued to sacrifice lives needlessly? Alice could only hope that the other lords would not see through him and act to stop the poison kitchens... Murakai would most likely become agrivated if that happened....

Demetria looked at Edward slightly confused. "What are you talking about?" she said, her confusion obvious in both her eyes and her voice. Sure, to most it would have been obvious what Edward was referring to. Demetria, however, never really looked in the mirror. She had no idea what she looked like, and honestly didn't care to. It was something her father had brought on the years before. He had always claimed she looked like her mother and hated her for that. Even through the bruises. However, she did have reason to be glad. The venom had faded from both his voice and his eyes when he mentioned Murakai. Though she knew she had missed some vital information she decided it would soon be revealed.

Nicky frowned once she reached the end of the book. It was a disapointment to her. She sighed and put the book back her stumach growled at her. She started to wonder how long she had been in the library and this vampires home. She felt fine, and she need to get back to her appartment and take care of bills she had for gotten to pay. Oh and her job she could be fired. She ran back to the hospital wing and went back in to the room she was brought into.
Nicky pulled out the papers and the cell she had hiden away and sat them in a neat stack on the bed. She found a pin and extra pice of paper and wrote on it. Once she finished the writing look like a well done Old English writing. She sighed and read the note in her head.
'Thank You. Simply, Nicky.'
Nicky set the note next to the papers and the cellphone and left the build, but she had a bit of a hard time getting out. She ran for her appartment so she can get her uniform for work. She made it and pulled out her keys from their hiding place and went in to her small appartment.

Edward shook his head, it was probably better for her to not know if she didn't already. Too much to worry about. "HmMm. If you don't know, that's fine, probably better if you don't." He said, turning to look at where the wolves had been. "They're gone; I think we should go as well." He said, putting a hand on Demetria's shoulder and looking back to her. He had obviously noticed before, but she was awfully pretty, too pretty for her own good maybe. It made him smile slightly, and he didn't want to think about how her father had been able to hurt such a small and beautiful child, or how Murakai might.

Demetria smiled when she felt Edward's hand on her shoulder. It was comforting, reassuring. "Yeah, we probably should get going." she said agreeing(sp???) full heartedly. The sooner she could get away from the grissly scene the better, especially since it felt familiar. Just like her past. She had a hard time not physically shuddering at the thought of her past being like that. Though she was able to suppress it. She looked up at Edward and smiled. Had he always been that much taller than her? She felt really short for some odd reason. Oh well, we all have those days.

Alice waited, with Douglas, for Edward and Demetria. She sighed as Murakai walked inot the inn and moments later walked out with a teenage male in tow. Great, another lamb for the slaughter as Murakai would call it. She smiled when Edward and Demetria aproached.
Murakai put a fast pace forward, one that the teen had trouble following. Murakai passed by the group, not wanting his fellow vampires lords to ask questions, and when strait to the mansion. He looked back at the teen and thought, ah yes... this boy will be perfect for the experiment.

(( Lul, you spelled it right. xD ))
"Come on then." Edward said, sliding his hand around her shoulders once again and walking them back to the others. Only Douglas and Alice were present, had Murakai already slinked off and being an a*****e somewhere else? Well, that was rather rude, to bring them all the way here and then just make them wait even longer for what he had to say. You'd think the man would have a brain. Whatever it was he was doing, he could tell Alice didn't like it, and that meant it must have been something really bad. One thing was for sure, that teen following him wasn't a good thing.

Demetria tagged along beside Edward as they made their way back to the group. "Alice, Douglas, Edward, myself...still no Murakai..." she thought to herself. He was a rude fellow, one thing Demetria had a difficult time tolerating. She sighed a little as they finally got to the group. She gave a wave and a smile to Douglas, though she sparred no extra effort towards greeting Alice. she wasn't fond of any of the people from this area. Between Alice's greeting, Murakai's lack of attendance to his company, and the pigs that had approached her earlier, Demetria was sure this place had actually gone down hill since the last time she had been there. Though she had thought that impossible the last time she was there.

When alice took another look over Demetria she wondered if Murakai was trying to delay meeting her or if he had no idea what she looked like. Sometimes it was hard to tell what was going on in that mans head. She turned to face the masion and said, "Murakai had buisness to attend to... He will meet us at the mansion." She started to walk. We are falling, the light is calling. She suddenly felt like she was being watched. Looking around she saw nothing... strange, I could have sworn... She shrugged inwardly and kept going.
Murakai entered the masion and pointing to a servant said, "take this man to the blue rom. I will deal with the matters of his employment later." The servant rushed the man off after a slight bow. Murakai turned to wait for the group to come in. Wait... why were his underlings watching the group? If they thought they were going to get a taste of the human with them they were dead wrong. Murakai was not going to endanger this allience any further... at least, not yet.
