((*sigh* I didn't want to admit it, but... yeah. I'm slightly prejudiced towards beginners. I thought this RP was going to be something different, but half the people never even posted, I can't keep up with the rate it grows, and it doesn't look like the creator's ever coming back. stare And it just got moved to Beginner's. I refuse to be involved in a Beginner's thread that I didn't join knowing it was a Beginners.
*gathers up the sleeping Hal* I like her, so she'll be back someday, though I usually come up with a new character for each RP. But Hal never even got a chance to grow. I'll find a place for her.

((Edit: ENNEN. You're writing your posts on a Wii. They look like they were written by a first-grader. Others in the RP have a similar online literacy level, even posting their actions in *action*, which is only to be used when 'chatting' in OOC. You tell us why it's level 1.))

(This is perhaps not only because of our illiterate friends.
Of course, their posts, often with absolute disregard for spelling, accupuncture and else, have made it increasingly difficult to even read the RP, let alone understand most of it.
But, and i have to repeat that, at least they came up with plots, when the GM did not show up. At least they develloped new ideas, when they were on their own.
Really, what pisses me on most is the arrogance with which people stride through these roleplays. OOh, look at me, I am such an elitist snob, I can type, and I use a spellchecker. Oh, there is someone not on my level, I am outta here!
I think there was a time when you were exactly the same kind of annoyance. And just because of other players, who just closed their criticism away and joined in your fresh Ideas, you were able to devellop in the professional you are today. I would suggest, before you again try to bash some of the newbies into the floor, at least try to remember the time when you were a newbie. And don't tell me you f****** weren't because if that is so, I am going through with the search function, and i am going to list every attempt of powerplay, controlling of other characters, spelling problem and ooc speaking /ridiculous plot devellopment you have ever made.
I do not think we should just choose which rp's we play, based on the beginner or intermediate level. I say we should just pick the RP's based on the concept, and stay with them. Heck, if there are people who insist on writing posts with the wii, let them. if there are people who insist of interacting with invisible ghosts, just let them. Only if you show a newbie how it is done, through a good example and willingness to overlook mistakes, you wil be able to see the newbie devellop into a beautifull butterfly of an rp'er.
I am staying, if there at least stays one person with me.
by the way, ENNEN, a first-grader is a pupil of the first grade, who is shortly out of kindergarden, and who only begins to earn the stuff. )
