"Not two days in this miserable country and I hate it already," Drusilla complained before walking off in a random direction. Well, not really random, she was really just following the noise.
"Woof," the cat beside her...woofed. Sometimes it was nice to have a cat like this one, mostly because it changed color and the noises it made.
"What is it?" Drusilla asked before seeing a few girls fairly close. "Ah! Matte! Ano, could you help me?"
((are you all where I think you are? Like right outside the great hall?))

Abigail looked as she heard a bark and then someone calling. She looked curiously as she saw no dog and just a cat next to a girl. She hadn't meant to but her hair shortened a bit, enough to really notice, and went a lighter black/purple.

((argh, my computer crashed on me last night, everything is lost!))
"Ah! thank goodness," Drusilla sighed before pulling up her robes to run over. "I am looking for...the sensei of...Snake House?"
'What unusually colored hair this teenager has,' Drusilla thought to herself, all the while hoping her english was good enough to be understood. Also, compared to the uniform of these girls she felt entirely overdressed.

"Snake house? Oh you mean Slytherin." Abigail snapped out of her staring to help the girl. "Down in the dungeons." She pointed down the corridor they just came from.

"Ah, thank you...very much. I am to be introduced to...Slytherin as an exchange student. It is my father's old house." Drusilla smiled pleasantly at the girl who'd helped her before introducing herself. "Drusilla Rosier, it is a pleasure to meet you."
"Moo," Her cat sounded from her side, now bearing black spots against white fur.
"Ah, and this is Bakaneko." Drusilla lifted her 'cat up for introduction.

Leandra stopped abruptly at the unexpected conversation. This girl was speaking some Japanese? She didn't really know Japanese herself, but her old Muggle friend Flannery had been a pretty big video game nerd, and would always say these certain Japanese words that any self-respecting fangirl should know.
This may be interesting, she thought to herself, a little pleased to note that this girl would be in Slytherin with her.
Wait...just yesterday she'd held a passionate hatred for anyone in Slytherin. And now she was excited about getting to know one of them?
Well, she had to start learning this lesson that no one was what they might seem at first, she told herself.
"Hey," Leandra smiled hesitantly. "Leandra Malfoy. Welcome to Hogwarts." Despite the surprise she'd gotten with Abigail and Raven, however, her old habit wouldn't let her drop her mistrust of anyone in the Slytherin house. Especially someone who had a family background in Slytherin.

Raven went straight for the cat. " KIIIIIIIIIIT-TEEEEEEEEEEE!" she squeeled. She knelt down on the floor and meowed at it. She could tell it wasn't a normal cat, and she was excited that this girl would be in Slytherin with her and the girls. It meant she could get to play with the kitty. After a few moments of playing with the cat she looked up and held out her hand to the new girl. " MY name is Raven. The pleasure is all yours." It was the Pure BLood coming out of her. " I"m sorry. I meant that the pleasure is mine."

"Malfoy...my mother said, many things about your family. And Raven...what is clan name?"
It seemed these girls would be her housemates, so it would ba safe to walk along with them. After all, her mother and grnadmother had told her that two kinds of people existed in the world, their type who could forge their own destiny, and the other type, who were mere pawns in the game.
"Ano, Bakaneko does bite," Drusilla warned as her cat turned an electric green color. "You pull back now?"
((Also, I'm not being steriotypical in her speech style, but most of the japanese girls i know who transferred to my school, horrible english skills...not that mine are better.))

Abigail snapped out of her weird trance. She was surprised by the cat and then her fellow class mates. "Abigail Bathory." She held out her hand to the girl. "What year are you?"

"Year?" Drusilla asked confused. "Ah yes, You use years. I have private tutor since I was five years old. I am seventeen now." She looked over at the cat, now a neon yellow. Oh well, she did warn Raven.
"I was waiting for Slytherin leader to tell me what year I belong to."
Bakaneko was now a blinding white and Drusilla sighed. "Bad kitty, no, stop..."

Raven stepped back from the cat. " My last name's Dwindlin, but I'm to become part of the Malfoy family here in the next few weeks. I am currently going steady with their son Draco Malfoy." She muttered under her breath, " Maybe he'll actually propse and we can just get married or something. That'd be great."

Leandra sighed, surprised that she'd said her last name without her usual, "But not to be associated with Draco, Lucius, or Narcissa Malfoy." But then, she was still confused about what she thought about her family. About what she thought about these Slytherin girls. About everyone she'd formerly despised and pushed away from her.
She was highly curious as to what "things" there might have been said about her family, but she said nothing, not wanting to seem nosy.
Leandra smiled at Raven at the reference to her brother, but was a little hesitant considering she wasn't sure what she thought about the whole situation.
Finally she eyed the cat warily and continued to be silent, not sure what to do. Thinking back, she couldn't really rememeber a time in her life where she'd been surrounded by this many girls and open to conversation.

"Bakaneko," Drusilla scoffed, picking the cat up and tapping it on the head with a knuckle. "Honto? Knowing who you marry? Ah, I am jealous, grandmother says I marry first man to see me nude." She let out a small giggle then. "I don't have many male friends as you might guess."
"So, you are sisters then?" She asked of Leandra and Raven.

Raven giggled. " No man has ever seen me naked, and that's the way it shall stay until a certain someone's brother pops the question." she mentioned under her breath that last tid bit. " No we're not sisters, but some sort of relation. I do however consider her like my little sister." Raven smiled at Leandra

Abigail just stood there by the girls. She wasn't into the family talk. She thought about leaving the girls to there conversation and go get something to eat. She wasn't sure if she would be noticed or not. She looked at her and glared at it for a moment. She turned it back to its deep blackish purple color and lengthened it again, 'much better.' she thought.
