<3
I got carried away doing a bit of Googling out of curiosity, to see what happened to some of these older RPR members that are long gone. My lead on Mou ends at about 2013 on Subeta due to the fact that threads on Subeta take foreeeeeeever to load....

Mou . . . is a name I've not heard in a long time. A long time. She is one of the few that was here before me, and one that I would always welcome back to the Refuge- if she so chose to return. I doubt any of them would, but the door will always be open. Kira Yamato was another, as was Tana. Those are names I would love to see again.

Well, after my finals are over, I'll run a few more searches on the side. I don't think I'll find anyone, but you never know.

As you wish. I doubt any will be found- not because you are not trying, but because they have left us behind. In any case, don't worry too hard about it.

True, for many Gaia was a teen/college age experience. Most move on once jobs & relationships start to consume their time.

Just do what you can to rest . . . I worry that you are overdoing it again, Yoder.
Yeah, we are in a site designed for teens. Unfortunately, most people outgrow this place. I am only here because of old friends and my aversion to change. There is nothing much going on here for me anymore, but I simply can't seem to break away.
I'm going to turn 39 in a few weeks . . . I've long since outgrown the usual compliment of people here. Just another reason I worry that I've overstayed my welcome.

One of my best RPers on RPN is 43. I adore him because he approaches every plot twist with wide-eyed optimism and enthusiasm. The next oldest RPer in my group is 34 or 35, and she's calm and analytical and loves character development.
Age ain't s**t.

Nothing I'm not accustomed to by now. xp
While there are adult RPers, it's often hard to carve the time out of adult life, at least in my experience.
This is very good to hear: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/site-feedback/gaia-economy-project/t.102364849/

so, a new currency system? Ugh. I get shades of "scrap it and start over" from the exchange rate. I admit the gold system is absurd, but this will be an interesting thought experiment to be certain. If nothing else, the drastic cut of 10mil to 1 will make math easier.
I will have just over 2009 in new currency. Far easier to manage than over 20 billion.

Still, at least they're trying to improve.
I'll have 834.

My comments were meant as constructive criticism. If pressed, I am interested and support the idea of the new currency to 'replace' gold. The market of gold has become so out of control that I have over 20 billion and could still be considered poor. That is insanity. A new system must be implemented.
Hell, I'd be happy if all gold- all of it, were to be negated. Everybody goes back to 0 in a total reboot. Prices are reset to a reasonable level, and we learn from the mistakes of the past.

I agree a full reset would be the best, but I fear that would be taken very poorly by the "whales" of gaia, and gaia does not want to alienate their whales.

Hell, I'm not even a whale, and I'd be ******** ******** pissed if someone took away all my gold that I've been trying to save up.
Anyways, a friend of mine made a Gunpla RP, apparently it's basically Gundam mixed with bits of Angelic Layer?? I'm still reading her thread.
