Seems that I have been held, in some dreaming state...
A tourist in the waking world, never quite awake.
No kiss, no gentle word could wake me from this slumber!
Until I realized that it was you who held me under!
Felt it in my fist, in my feet, in the hollows of my eyelids-

Elsie snatched the quaffle almost by the tips of her fingers, but got a better grip on it as she flew in the opposite direction, going fast. She didn't want to get hit again herself. OOC:Position: Chaser

XXXX Roll: KNOCKED OUT Posts to Goal: X/3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cathy had rushed forward, in an attempt to catch up and make her own steal attempt from Echo, tears stinging her eyes but focused none the less. Her arm reaching out when, suddenly, she heard the whistle of a bludger barrelling towards her, she didn't have the time to even dodge as she was in the middle of her steal attempt, and screamed out when she heard the crack of her shoulder blade, the same shoulder that already had been hit. She barely was able to clutch to return the grip to her broom as her vision became swimming into blackness and she tried clumsily and gasping for breath in pain to land safely, a few meters before managing to land ordinarily, her vision blacked and her grip slipped as she fell the last couple meters to the ground, her broom landing beside its owner who had fallen unconscious into thankfully-fairly soft grass and mud.

Lyall had been watching the game closely from the stands, and when he saw his teammate, Cathy, go out, he was called in to play. He pulled his goggles from his hair and tucked them securely over his glasses, then grabbed his broom and hurried to mount. The boy flew out and choked back a ball of nerves. His eyes were wide, and he flew somewhat clumsily toward his team, which was playing rapid-fire. He did his best to fly straight, and joined in where his teammates were. He would have to try and help, or at least pretend to be useful!

Elsie gasped and slowed slightly as she saw Cathy fall unconscious, but she hadn't fallen hard, thank goodness, or from a great height, and Lyall was taking her place. She dodged a bludger from Eli and a steal attempt from Dylan and kept going. OOC:Position: Chaser
