Shrugs, female fighters like Sailor Moon tend to be frilly like that. So, maybe it deals with the fighter in them, or maybe .......maybe it's a bug type?
Just thinking about the types that haven't been used, like rock, which I doubt.
Ground, Ghost, Dragon, Poison, and Steel

Just thinking about the types that haven't been used, like rock, which I doubt. Ground, Ghost, Dragon, Poison, and Steel Of the available types the most likely are Normal, Flying, Ghost, and stretching it just a bit with Poison based on the appearance.

Grey Moonfang IV Lunarsun Kind of like Meinfoo, which looks frilly Don't you mean Mienshoa? And Mienshoa is an entirely different sort of frilly. It's supposed to give the image of a long sleeved martial artist. Ya know, stoic Asian beauty with long, baggy sleeved silk robs? Sylveon is more...well the comic higher up pretty much says it all.
