Silver Tear Angel

Well, if it is any reassurance, I know of a few people who had to get their gall bladder removed, including my husband and my grandfather. They recovered fully with no ill effects and are able to eat normally. You just need to take the time to heal fully.
That is reassuring. Do you know how long the intense pain lasted for your husband? Im just curious as to a time frame on it.
It's been a few years, but if I remember, a few days. But he had microsurgery to remove it. If the pain doesn't ease in a day or so, or if it gets worse at any time, see a doctor immediately. Don't want to take the chance of an infection setting in from the surgery. I guess, healing time varies person to person to depending on a number of factors.
Mostly, try to sleep as much as you can; it speeds healing.
